Blackened metal band Grethor have teamed up with  Decibel Magazine to stream "From This Rot So Shall We Be Remade".  The track is taken from their upcoming album "Damnatio Memoriae" which will be released on January 26th 2018.

The band commented "It’s mainly about oligarchy. A small group of people controlling our day-to-day lives, and the corporate proliferation and appropriation of art. We are now seeing this in the current political climate, as the Republican Party has undergone a very, Star Wars-like transformation into a completely proto-fascist, authoritarian party."

Silent Season has released a new song titled "Stars", off an upcoming EP due out in 2018! When asked about the song's meaning, the band says "Stars is a romantic melodic ballad about all the things you wish you could feel for someone. Maybe you have met this person or maybe you have not. The real question is, if you told them would they care?" The song was turned into a lyrical video, which can be seen over HERE.

Dark pop rock power house Rivals have been hard at work upon what is their first and debut full-length album titled "Damned Soul". This release going on to release two singles turned video releases called "Low" and "Moonlit". But in terms of the album, they wanted to show a darker side of who they are as a band and their music. Thus, with that the trio took the time to disclose the details about their material, single's, album, and touring plans like no tomorrow!

1. How did your band form?

Kalie Wolfe - Micket and I have actually know each other for about 10 years now but, when
I was like 17 years old, I went on tour with his old band The Collected as a photographer. He heard me sing and bout a year or two later, he hit me up asking me to try to sing on a song and here we are!

Seb joined about 2 1/2 years ago because we played a show with his ex gf, we ended up needing a new bass player and I posted up on Facebook. He legit commented with that girl emoji that has her hand up lmao.

2. What accomplishments are you most and least proud of as a band?

Kalie - Honestly were proud of everything we've done. Every mistake, every problem, every high and every low has been so important to the development of the band. People look down on their imperfections and mistakes, but mistakes are what help you learn to be the best version you can be.

3. How has being in a band impacted your life?

Micket Woodle - Being in a band has really shown me how to be more outgoing and meet new people. That thereʼs more to everything then just what I can see or what comes up on a social media feed.

Sebastian Chamberlain - Itʼs impacted my life in many different ways. Some good some bad. But at the end of the day Iʼm doing what I love and thatʼs the biggest impact I can get.

Kalie Wolfe - Its weird, Iʼm happy but depressed all at once. Music has so many ups and downs. Doubts. Late night thoughts. Questioning yourself and what your doing. But in some way itʼs also given me so much confidence, a sense that Iʼm doing more in my life then just working some random job till I eventually die. A real chance to help someone other then myself using my own personal experiences. Plus I've made some of the best friends of my life because of music, I wouldn't really trade this life for anything else.

4. Do you have any major goals for your band?

RIVALS - Madison Square Garden, sold out, 3 nights in a row. Been saying that since we first started as a band lol!

5. How do you describe your sound to people who ask you what your band sounds like?

Kalie - Its like dark pop meets alt rock, like a lighter Bring Me The Horizon lol!

6. Who are some of your biggest influences music wise?

Micket Woodle - Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, 30 Seconds to Mars and Bring Me the Horizon.

Sebastian Chamberlain - Biggest influence would have to be Nikki Sixx and Diego Russo.

Kalie Wolfe - Jessie J, Demi Lavato, Bring Me The Horizon, 30 Seconds To Mars, You, Me And Everyone We Know, to name a couple!

7. How about when it comes to the song writing, what are your songs about and how is the song writing process laid out?

Kalie - The whole album is kinda about loosing hope but also getting it back. The songs range from questioning my presence on earth and others are reminders to myself that we have to keep going. Life is worth every second if you just see the beauty in it.

8. Why go with releasing "Low", as a single then video of choice?

Kalie - We wanted to come out with a banger, we wanted it to be the poppiest song on the record, so that when we released "Moonlit", the contrast would be vastly different. Plus the video just turned out so dope thanks to Brian Cox lol.

9. "Low" is the debut track to come off the debut album "Damned Soul", so tell me how does it feel to have both under your belts?

Sebastian - It honestly feels really good, we spent a lot of time making the record so its nice too see it finally coming out for everyone to listen to.

10. What was it like working with producer John Espy/Aaron Edwards on your debut album "Damned Soul"?

Kalie - Both of them are fantastic people, they honestly really pushed us to do the best we possibly could. They were really real about everything, if it wasn't good enough theyʼd simply tell us "You guys can do better then that and we know it" and we'd keep writing until it was perfect.

11. "Damned Soul" will be released via Smartpunk Records, how did that set up end up taking place?

Kalie - They just liked it haha, a friend knew a friend who showed them our stuff and it just ended up working out. Everyone at Smartpunk are really good people and were VERY lucky to have them.

12. What's your take on the debut album "Damned Soul" as a whole?

Micket Woodle - Itʼs a very emotional evolution of who we are as people and as musicians.

13. Where does a title like "Damned Soul" fit into the theme and or concept of  the album?

Kalie - When we started writing Damned Soul, which was unnamed, I was kinda in a VERY dark place, all the songs were just about my life just being a train wreck, but since it took us like a year and a half to write and complete, towards the end my attitude changed. I started seeing light in the darkest places. Even when life is hard there is ALWAYS bright side. The songs range from my darkest places and to the hope of a brighter future.

14. How does the album's artwork fit into the theme and or concept for this album that is "Damned Soul"?

Kalie - We bounced ideas back and forth like crazy, it took us a LONG time to come up with something, like it wasn't till like 2 months after the album was done that I came up with the bright colored drip idea. At the time I just thought it was cool but then I realized how much it had to do with the concept of the album. The dark can consume you, but the light always wins if you let it.

15. What else do you guys have got lined up for this next year coming up?

Kalie - LOTS! Tours on tours on tours! We are ready to get out there and promote the new album! So we will see you all very soon!

For 2018, Jourgensen forecasts giant political upheaval and geopolitical stress which has been set up in 2017 by the "orange shitgibbon" himself.  According to Jourgensen, 2016 and 2017 were similar to having a puss-filled boil or pimple on the country.  "We have to get 2017 and 2016 off of us," he states, "and 2018 is going to be the popping of the pimple.  It's going to be a rough year, but it's going to be a necessary year for the progression of the human race. The majority should rule the democracy and right now, the majority does not rule." Check out Uncle Al's 2018 predictions here:

So apparently the "Circle Of Life", was not only just a song made popular and famous by Disney and Disney's film series The Lion King, but others have taken that meaning of the song to heart and self worth. Like J.W. Schuller for instance, him releasing an album titled "No Mud in Joyville", where the track "Caterpillars" comes from believe it or not. Not just believing in the song's title but that the song itself even comes from that album, of such a silly title. Both of which are indeed true to say the least.

In any case though, how does this turn to the "Circle Of Life", referencing prior, well J.W. Schuller put it simply within his bio online, saying how he use to play indie rock in bars, taking on a long hiatus, that he would return to performing in the way of volunteer shows, at of all place's old folks' homes. This little base of experience and exposure inspiring him to write all new material, about what else? "Our all too brief time on earth", having this reality leading him to go back to playing the bar scene again, as he says "ahh, the circle of life". So in other words, the reference was put into perspective quite well.

So you see how it did fit into his lifestyle as well as his musically spoken life as a musician, it works from all points. But in realization though, "Caterpillars", is the track that discusses of what a caterpillar becomes, a butterfly. The song detailing how "we" us as people, become butterflies in our own accordance, each of their own, living our own lives, making money, doing things, just doing our own things within our life, each and every day of our living life pretty much.

Not just that meaning to the song itself, but the song having a very catching melody, with such driven vocalization, that it makes the music come together. It then on sounding quite presentable, yet upbeat, that it is one of those indie rock tracks, that mixes folk music creating a genre of the two, that is very ear worthy. In brief, it is a track of sorts, that is very likable, because of the tone it is progressing, as the song persists onward in playback.

The vocal chords performed by J.W. Schuller, is quite entertaining, as for the instrumentals done against it as well, as said before the song is indeed very catching and rather upbeat. But it is the music and vocals that make it a song of quality. The style, sound, and perfection is downright fun, energized and flawless. It's just how his style works out really, he is able to capture the essence that is the music and reality of life, bringing the two together to make what he has done so with "Caterpillars", a catching track of the appealing kind.

Surely J.W. Schuller being another catcher at hand, with his creative sources of music and his accompanying material working's , that the two together will continue to flourish onward, taking on more captivating meaning's that draw us in, yet again and again.

Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy guitarist Marc Rizzo has set the release date for his new album "Rotation", in stores March 30th 2018 via Combat Records/EMP Label Group/Amped in North America, and Combat/SPV in Europe. 'Roration" is the 4th solo release for Rizzo, following 2004’s "Colossal Myopia", 2006's "The Ultimate Devotion" (both released by legendary shred label Shrapnel) and the independently released 2010's "Legionnaire".

Produced by Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Hatebreed, Soulfly, Rob Zombie, Chimaira), and featuring cover art by Melody Myers (Escape The Fate), "Rotation" is a blistering showcase of Rizzo’s pummeling eclectic diversity, showcased on album tracks including “Spectral Intensities”, “Thrash Boogie”, and title track “Rotation”, combining Rizzo’s penchant for pummeling, low-end riffs, with thrash-intensive leads and heavy Latin flavor.

Originally a member of New Jersey latin-metal favorites Ill Nino. appearing on their classic 2001 Roadrunner release "Revolution Revolucion", and 2003 follow-up "Confession", Rizzo joined Soufly in 2004, and has since appeared on all subsequent Soulfly records, including "Prophecy", "Dark Ages", "Conquer", "Omen", and "Conspiracy", the side project of Sepultura co-founding brotherly duo Max and Iggor Cavalera and has performed on all of Cavalera Conspiracy releases including "Inflikted", "Blunt Force Trauma", "Pandemonium", and critically acclaimed 2017's "Psychosis".

Also contributing to several of the aforementioned Soulfly albums, including "Prophecy" and "Dark Ages", was Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, who contributed bass to both releases and did some touring, which led to a connection to Rizzo, and the alliance with Ellefson’s reboot of legendary Metal label Combat Records.

Rizzo is also a part-time guitarist for Combat label-mates Dead By Wednesday (first appearing on the band’s 2016 EMP release, "The Darkest Of Angels"), rounding out a label roster that also includes upcoming releases from legendary Metal acts Raven, Helstar, and Wrath.

“Marc’s an awesome guitar player. He’s a badass.” Says Ellefson. “So when Thom started talking to him about his new record, Zeuss sent over some tracks, and we were all really excited. And it just turned out to be a great, natural fit for the new incarnation of Combat. Marc is a brutal, heavy player, but so technically proficient and tasteful, and able to blend so many styles into what he does, whatever he’s doing, whether it’s Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy, or his solo stuff.”

Says Rizzo, “I spent a couple years talking to David and Thom (Hazaert) about releasing Rotation and when the Combat thing came up it just really felt right. I have known both David and Thom, literally for the better part of 2 decades, and I’m really excited to have such a killer team putting their stamp on my record.”

Check out an album teaser featuring “Spectral Intensities” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4pU91aaGeY.

Rizzo will hit the road with Soufly and Nile in the Spring, and will enter the studio to begin work on the new Soulfly record in January 2018!

Alternative go getters The Cordial Sins have only had two consistent members since 2015, in-between having other musicians fill in the gaps during their performances, as the duo went on to write and record material for some releases including their full-length "Daze" as well as an EP "Only Human". Within the coming months the band is planning out their next array of showcases with more music coming soon. Lead guitarist Corey Dickerson discusses the band's roots, music, and future ahead.

1. Can you give us a brief history of The Cordial Sins, music style, and the members.

Corey - The Cordial Sins are an alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio. Liz and I have been the only two consistent members since 2015. As far as performing the music goes, we have Luke Harris (Synths, Guitar, Vocals), Kyle Edwards (Guitar), John Allen (Bass), and Mike Ortiz (Drums).

2. Give us a little insight into the formation of the band. When and how did it happen?

Corey - Liz and I attended high school together. Shortly after we crossed paths and started writing together. Forming the band in 2015, we came across the name simply by playing with words in search of a new band name.

3. At what age did you guys start playing instruments? Since when are you into alternative rock music?

Corey -  Liz has played violin since age three and went on to study music performance at Ohio State University. I started playing piano at age 12. After moving to Ohio at 13, I began teaching myself to play guitar and bass. Both of us have been fans of Alternative Rock since a young age, taking a liking to bands, such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Radiohead, Kings of Leon, Queens of the Stone Age and so on.

4. Give in more detail, some information about your latest EP, "Only Human"?

Corey - "Only Human", was written and recorded from March of 2016 - April 2017 at Relay Recording in Columbus,OH. Three out of seven tracks on the record were recorded almost exactly a year apart. We tracked the EP with Jon Fintel, owner and house engineer at Relay.

5. What is the difference between your EP and the last LP?

Corey -  The LP was recorded and produced by Eddie Ashworth at his home studio in Athens, OH. The songwriting process was a lot different as far as what we were bringing to the table and how it was produced. In my mind, "Daze" also acted as kind of "genre searching" record for us. I think Liz and I had a couple different Ideas of what we wanted to do and writing and recording that record really taught us a lot about what we wanted and what we wanted to sound like.

If you listen back to that record there’s quite a bit that carried over into "Only Human". It’s more refined and the writing/production aspect is different. We had more tools at our disposal at Relay and Jon is a very open kind of guy when it comes to trying new things. It really shows on this record and "Only Human" wouldn’t sound like it without having someone like Jon!

6. Why did you want to go with releasing yet another full length as opposed to a EP?

Corey - Like I said before, "Daze" was our first crack at the recording process. It was more of a "genre searching" record and we were just starting to feel things out. We didn’t want to dive into another LP because we just weren’t ready. The EP shows how we’re progressing and it‘s a great representation of what we’re currently doing, and what to expect on our new LP.

7. What inspires The Cordial Sins music and lyric writing? What does The Cordial Sins lyrics talk about?

Liz writes a lot about aspects of life that are more or less out of our control and how we go about dealing with them. Namely, she focuses a lot on relationships, how we view our world, where we place our values, etc.

8. How did the band come up with the name The Cordial Sins and tell what does it means for you?

Corey - When we first landed on The Cordial Sins, we didn’t think much of it. However, people have told us it kind of reminds them of the duality in most people - the idea that we all have a little good and a little bad within us.

9. What does the band plan on doing in mean time?

Corey - We’re currently booking Spring tours and will be writing and recording the coming months.

10. Any message to our readers?

We have our music on all streaming platforms! If you’re interested you can check out thecordialsins.com, give us a "Like" on Facebook or follow us on Spotify, Instagram & Twitter to keep up!

Crypitus is a band to mix things up, after forming in 2015, with a revision in 2016, the band had a good source of how they would take themselves, in the ways of band mates and musically. Thus, their combination of heavy, death, thrash, and black metal influences, as well as jazz, punk and hardcore elements, all would come together, for a demo reel of material, leading for even greater chances, opportunities, and much more fun and future plans! With that, the band got together to talk about all these matters, if not more than that even.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Joe: Crypitus has been around for like a year or two. I'm a recent addition to the band after a friend introduced me.

Zach: When I joined, Doug and Pete were already playing together. I was desperately searching the internet for musicians to jam with, and Pete was the first to respond, with Doug in tow.

Pete: Doug and I were roommates and started jamming together to songs he had written. We decided to try finding a drummer and Zach popped up on Facebook.

Doug: So I first started to form the idea for Crypitus before I knew these guys, my friend from high school was my metal partner in crime and drummer but things just didn’t work. When Pete started playing my tunes I decided to give it another go. So we found Zach managed to eat two bassists and play shows all over New England.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Joe: Doug takes credit for the name. Its the sound of breaking bones!

Zach: Crypitus is the sound of breaking bones.

Pete: It's Latin for the sound broken bones make.

Doug: When I was learning wildness first aid my teacher exclaimed to me out the blue “Do you know what would be a sick metal band name? Crypitus it’s the sound of breaking bones!” I was sold immediately.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Joe: We hail Rutland, Vermont. I'm not sure about local bands and the music scene I don't get out much.

Zach: Headquarters is in Mendon, VT. Mendon has no scene, however Rutland, which has the same zip code, is currently being revived; thanks to our lovely record store.

Pete: We are from Rutland, Vermont. There's a very small music scene here.

Doug: I believe there’s only three active metal bands in the Rutland area, Crypitus, NO SOUL and Humdinger and The Bucksnort.

4. How would you describe your style?

Joe: Proggy thrash metal.

Zach: Style? I try to act like a clown. Not a scary clown, a funny one. As for our music, I'd say we're a slightly progressive psychedelic thrash mixture.

Pete: Progressive death thrash with some jazz on top.

Doug: Thrashy Blackened Death metal with a twist!

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

Joe: We have a demo. Its pretty cool.

Zach: Just our tip... I mean the demo. Don't expect anything. Just listen to it. We try our hardest to make music that sounds like nothing anyone has ever played before.

Pete: We have a three song demo out now. People can expect tasty riffs and buttery solos.

Doug: Our demo "Exhibit 1: Prelude to the Dead World" is a good introduction to our music.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Joe: We are working on it.

Zach: We have soooo much new music to release to the world. And there's always songs being written.

Pete: We have a three song demo out now. People can expect tasty riffs and buttery solos.

Doug: We will be releasing a new song this winter!

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Joe: We have a tour next year.

Zach: We have a few local shows and one out of state coming in the new year, but we're working on putting our big tour together.

Pete: We have some shows booked for next year and a tour planned for June.

Doug: We have a seven day tour with our good friends in An Unction in Braille in the works for June.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Joe: World domination.

Pete: See as far as we can take it.

Doug: Keep doing what we love.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Zach: Crypitus.com!!!!!!

Doug: Also Crypitus.bandcamp.com, iTunes, CDBaby, and more!

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Joe: I hope they remember they like us and listen to us more.

Zach: The drums, of course. But seriously, I really hope that our sound will be unique and catchy enough to be memorable.

Pete: I hope the riffs get stuck in their heads.

Doug: Crypitus; it’s the sound of breaking bones.

Independent rock, grunge, garage, cow punk rock band Tarah Who? from Los Angeles, California, have been hard at work upon their newest release, an EP due out in the spring time of 2018! The whole band got together to discuss their time as a band, new music, and future plans.

Tarah G. Carpenter (TGC) : Vocals, Guitar

Matthew Peltcher (MP): Bass, Backing Vocals

Coralie Hervé (CH): Drums

Dave Bonson (DB): Guitar

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

TGC: I started writing and singing in 2006, I worked with a lot of people until I met Matt (Bass) (Drums) in July 2016 and Coralie about 6 months ago to form the new Tarah Who?. Dave joined us a month ago as the guitar player.

CH: My name is Coralie Herve and I’m the drummer of Tarah Who?

DB: I’m Dave. I’m from Wiscaaansin.

MP: I’m Matt.  I’ve been in a couple punk bands prior to Tarah Who?

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

TGC: Tarah Who? is the result of lack of inspiration! We had a bunch of gigs lined up and no band names. I sent an email with a lot of really bad ideas for a band name. The subject for this email was "Tarah Whooo??? " and everyone agreed that THIS worked best! Then people started remembering us by this name so we didn't want to change it.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

TGC: We are based in Los Angeles but Coralie and I are originally from France and Dave from Wisconsin.

DB: Based out of LA. Has one of the best music scenes in the world. The Two Tens, The Darts, Vanessa Silberman, No Girlfriend, Spare Parts for Broken Hearts are all some bands I’ve gotten to see here so far. Still always on the lookout for more.

MP:  I’ve been playing in the L.A. scene since I can remember. It’s fast paced and crazy just like our city. I can see how it may feel overwhelming to those moving to L.A. for the first time.

4. How would you describe your style?

TGC: We are a loud, energetic, rock, punk infused alternative band! How about that?

CH: It’s a mix of genres like rock, punk, garage but at the same time is kind of unique.

DB: Dingy.

MP:  Very 90's punk, grunge.  Loud and intense.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

TGC: One debut Album called "Tarah Who?" another album called "Little Out There" (with the singles "Rainy Day" Worst To Come" etc...), "In a Rush" (single), "Federal Circle of Shame" EP, "Half Middle Child Syndrome" EP. we are about to release our third EP. We are very raw sounding influenced by the 90's. Our recordings are really fun to listen to, especially if you like fast paced-guitars, and you like to drive fast or run!Our live shows are very entertaining.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

TGC: Yes, we are currently working on a new EP that we will release on our tour in April 2018.

CH: We are actually working on a new EP right now.

DB: New EP coming out soon.

MP:  Currently working on a new release. I think you guys are gonna like what we have cooking…

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

TGC: Tour in April 2018 on the West Coast. We are also going to play a few festivals during summer in Europe in 2018. East Coast in September.

CH: We will promote our upcoming EP with a West Coast tour in April and a European one this summer.

DB: April tour. Europe tour. East coast tour.

MP: Just finished a small Southern Californian tour.  We have a bunch of 2018 tours coming up and I’m sure we will do some local shows throughout the year! Stay tuned!

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

TGC: More shows, more tours, more recordings, more videos:) more and bigger!

CH: Have fun and tour everywhere in the world, that’s my dream!

Fabulae Dramatis have released a new live video for the song "Sati (Fire II)", taken from the album "Solar Time's Fables".

When asked about the song in question, the band says "Sati is a Hindu goddess, first wife of Shiva, deity who destroys evil and transforms the material world. This song narrates the story of Sati’s self-immolation as an act of honor and as an extreme response of her father’s humiliation toward her husband. The story represents the fire on this music album, according to Fabulae Dramatis’ concept: the relationship between humanity and natural elements throughout time."

Progressive doom metallers Paragon Collapse have written and recorded for their debut full-length album titled "The Dawning". The album to be released January 20th 2018 with collaboration with Loud Rage Music. The album's artwork was painted by bass player Vali Seciu of the band Paragon Collapse.

Here’s what the band had to say about the album: "The Dawning does not necessarily want to convey a message, but it is up to the listener to identify and interpret a possible message. Although the lyrics of the songs describe various states and inner living, alternating between love and madness, hope and suicidal depression, we would like each listener to live each song individually, to understand them from the perspective of their own experiences, and if after listening to songs, the listener does not remain indifferent, it means that our goal has been reached.

As for this painting, the viewer can sense the meaning of it right from the title. The first light is so much more than the twilight before the dawn. In this case, dawn is the absolute truth we tend to as people, that beautiful truth, also highlighting the fact that existence takes place between two extremes, lies and truth. The first extreme is made up of a life full of harmony, of pure beauty, but which is forgotten and thus destroyed. The second extreme represents the uglier side of life, lies and hatred, whose appearance of masquerade deceives and seduces man. These two opposites define our lives, the dichotomy in which we lead our existence, the struggle that we carry from birth to death. The true beauty of life is so intangible, too far away, far too lonely, too forgotten, waiting for the dawn of absolute revelation."

Saber Tiger was founded in 1981 by guitarist Akihito Kinoshita and they have been illuminating the Japanese metal scene ever since. In recent years, they have been more prolific than ever, leading to the international release of "Bystander Effect", via Sliptrick Records in March, 2018. Due to this signing of Sliptrick Records, the album illustrates the broad appeal of Saber Tiger. The riffs are intricate, yet catchy. The songs are heavy, yet melodic. And the vocals of Takenori Shimoyama are raw, but extremely passionate. As a result, the groups heavy metal is classic and timeless while at the same time having the potential to appeal to both traditional metal-heads and fans of contemporary power metal. There are even some progressive influences in their music. The band may have been around for a long time but there is a freshness and commitment to the music that belies their many years and the band certainly sound nothing if not contemporary.

The release of "Bystander Effect", is not just a simple re-issue for the international market; four of the tracks, originally in Japanese, have been re-recorded with English lyrics, while the brand new acoustic instrumental "Ship Of Theseusand", a new recording of the Saber Tiger classic "First Class Fool", are exclusive to the Sliptrick Records release. Also, demo recordings of the spectacular tracks "Sin Eater", and "What I Used To Be", are included. There is no better way to get acquainted with Saber Tiger’s unique brand of heavy metal.

Saber Tiger commenced life in the same year as their famous compatriots Loudness and Anthem. Their somewhat remote location on the northern island of Hokkaido and the numerous line-up changes they had to endure in their early years have slowed down the band’s rise a little, but Kinoshita’s “never say die” determination has resulted in a legacy of first class metal. Besides Kinoshita and Shimoyama, Saber Tiger now consist of guitarist Yasuharu Tanaka, drummer Yasuhiro Mizuno and young bass wizard Hibiki, the most recent addition to the band.

In June of 2016, the band played its first two shows on European soil, which finally opened the door to introduce Japan’s best kept metal secret to the rest of the world. In case you missed that, the international release of Bystander Effect is your chance to get to know Saber Tiger.

Blinding Sparks has released a new song in the form of a lyrical video titled "I Fuck It". When asked about the music's tone and lyrics of this particular song, they went on to say;

"The lyrics represents all the negative thoughts that every human being feel at times. I Fuck It to these days when nothing works as expected, I Fuck It to those people who can not more be trusted, I Fuck It to love relationships, I Fuck It to life…"

Going on to add saying that;

"The tone is given once the electric guitar begins.Violence, hatred and a nameless brothel. The aggressive song gives all the strength to the title. The female voice in the chorus gives liveliness to the whole song before the verses resume. This original and daring title is catchy and remains in the lead. The little French touch with a hint of humor at the end of the title surprises and attracts even more curiosity."

Test Your Metal Records is proud to announce their latest signing of Mumbai rock 'n rollers Overhung for the re-release of their 2016 album "Moving Ahead". The full length is an electrifying 10 tracks ready to blast from the stereo speakers and give fans that classic glam rock n' roll feel of the 70's and 80's.  In their native country of India, the Mumbai rock band has been garnering praise along with their straight to the point lyrics about sex and more sex that they feel is still a topic too taboo to be spoken of. "Moving Ahead" will be distributed in North America in 2018 by Test Your Metal Records along with a new single to be released by the band entitled “King Of Dreams” at a later date.

Indian press has said:

"Overhung make no bones that their songs are about sex." - The Times of India

"Mumbai-based Glam rock band Overhung want to talk about sex. They say that is the only topic no one wants to talk about." - The Hindu

"Overhung and lovin’ it! They are more than just a band, they’re a bunch of ‘brothers’ who make music and ‘shake the room’, with their sound and antics." - The Goan

TYM label A&R Mujeeb Basha comments: "The signing of Overhung may raise eyebrows, as it should. The band has already built a reputation in their home country rocking the foundations of ‘Hard Rock Cafes’ all over INDIA peddling their signature “Sex, Rum, and Rock&Roll!” Coming soon to North America through a partnership with TYMR, what you can expect is that Overhung will rock your socks off! The band has bold and audacious ideas and the cross-cultural partnership with Test Your Metal Records means 24/7 debauchery."

OVERHUNG vocalist Sujit Kumar adds: "We, at Overhung are really excited with the association with Test Your Metal Records. For a band that functions from different parts of the globe, Overhung has continued to write, record, release and tour and every year. Just as the album title "Moving Ahead" suggests, we've constantly moved ahead in some way or the other. Looking forward to taking the debauchery to North American shores."

For the past 20 years, The Stone, one of many black metal bands to take the spectrum of the black metal genre at will, is still as quite active as ever possible with the release of what is their eighth full-length album to date "Teatar apsurda".

While the black metal genre has had an array of black metal acts to see fit, The Stone, is not like many other black metal acts who have seen the course of time, cross their paths as it would see fit. In the case of "Teatar apsurda", it is an album of sorts, that is not like what would you expect, i.e. Dark Funeral, Behemoth, or even Gorgoroth status. The Stone's black metal styling is more or less, like Blodskut crossed with minor appeal that is Children Of Bodom or Cradle Of Filth.

In the terms of the style of sound, their instrumental working's is just fun to listen in on really. The instruments playing at will, drawing you in with their fast progression of pulsation, whereas the vocals are spot on, keeping up with said instrumental beats. Vocals doing what they do best, sing but in a more up front passion that keep it intense yet edgy. Put the two together and you end up with some really impressive craft, that keeps you wanting more of it. In short, you get decently sized material that will make you delighted you had heard from The Stone in the first place.

Which makes the album that is "Teatar apsurda", a solid piece of work, with well crafted tracks, that include such as "Mrtvog negativ", "Ja, car i bog", and "Harmonija u haosu". These selections of course being quite well put together. The progressive mannerisms is well thought out, keeps the music in check, with everything else falling into its rightful place easy. It becomes tracks that begin to comfort you, keeping you on the tips of your toes and edge of your seat, eagerly pleased ear to ear.

So no other way to say it best, than this, The Stone's eighth album in their catalog of releases that is "Teatar apsurda", is probably one album, you shall not forget, or perhaps remember the most, when listening just once, if not more than that.

False Flag's unique blend of d-beat, neo-crust, black metal, screamo, and hardcore, complete with philosophical nature of the lyrics, make them one of the most fiery and intelligent punk bands in recent years.

"The songs on this EP are reflections on alienation- ideological, societal and existential. The words here are informed by the experiences I've had during what proved to be the most difficult and crucial years of my intellectual, ideological and personal growth. It's not difficult to see that they are also informed by ideas of albert camus and the Frankfurt school. While, Unbroken was composed around the words written by a very dear friend of mine", says  guitarist Shaunak.

"It's not every day a scintillating debut EP from an Indian black metal-tinged neocrust band with anti-misogynist, anti-casteist lyrics based around societal oppression, existentialism, and the Marxist critical theories of the Frankfurt School lands in your inbox out of the blue—but I guess Santa thought I've been good this year." — Kim Kelly / Noisey

Premiered by Noisey exclusively HERE, the three track self-titled debut EP is currently available to stream and download on Bandcamp via HERE.

Cadaveria, act that just so happens to cross your path out of nowhere, then you wonder where has this act been all this time! Even though the time frame for said act has only been over 15 years and counting, Cadaveria has decided to take a blast from the past in their catalog of releases, re-releasing their second full-length album "Far Away From Conformity". The album was originally released back in 2004 but since it's been 13 years, lucky 13 to be precise the album is receiving this re-release with some improvements and minor differences in comparison to the first issue of release. This time around the "Far Away From Conformity" features new vocals on the song "Blood and Confusion", as well as "The Divine Rapture", with the added remixed and remastered edition of audio and album artwork to boot! So then how does this re-hash do in terms of quality, sound, and style, of the here and now, to the then and where? Well it just so happens to be a refresher for the right now.

As such, this re-release of this album is downright fun and really exciting for the new comers of the band that is Cadaveria. Cadaveria herself, naming said band after one self, just so happens to be the former vocalist and keyboard player of the band Opera IX, with other projects in tow DyNAbyte. But besides those brief details noted, Cadaveria's "Far Away From Conformity", takes the songs mentioned prior i.e. "The Divine Rapture", and "Blood and Confusion", both sound flushed and content, providing those re-done vocalization pipes that really make the music stand out in quality, style, and sound as a wholesome truths. In terms of the rest of the material. 9-tracks in all, you get hit with such numbers as "Omen of Delirium", "Out Body Experience", and "Prayer of Sorrow", with the added bonus of a Blondie cover of their song "Call Me", these selections and the remainder is just catchy, melody driven, and very upbeat in tones, rhythm and edginess.

Overall Cadaveria's second release of an album that once was and is still "Far Away From Conformity", is a good rehash of something heard prior. The re-release being a remaster of material that suits the band, right, both in quality and in terms of style of sound as well. Cadaveria is an act to follow as to not be missed either.
