BATTLECROSS will be heading back out on the road next month for more than two dozen headlining dates through North America. Dubbed the Winter Warriors tour, the trek will kick off on November 26th in Grand Rapids, Michigan and conclude on December 30th in Worcester, Massachusetts. Support will come from Wretched and War Of Ages.

In honor of the US Armed Forces, this Veterans Day BATTLECROSS will make a limited number of tickets available to VET TIX so that local members of the military may attend a show in their city at no cost. The band will also be donating a portion of the funds generated from sales of a limited edition tour shirt to a local veteran's charity, and choose a veteran in each market for a VIP experience. On Veteran's Day (November 11th) fans can nominate a friend or family member who has served our country and share their story and photo, with a member of the military being chosen to win a guitar and more at the end of the tour. On the same day, the band will also bring back merchandise from their first Metal Blade album, Pursuit Of Honor, in their official merch store HERE, with a portion of the proceeds being set aside to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project, a veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events to wounded veterans of the military following the events of September 11th, 2001.

To learn more about honoring a veteran through the tour or to help underwrite tickets for veterans, click HERE. Members of the military can inquire about free admission to the tour at www.vettix.org.

Guitarist Hiran Deraniyagala adds: "We won't let a cancelled tour stop BATTLECROSS from performing for our fans and the Winter Warriors Tour with Wretched and War Of Ages is the perfect way to remind our fans that you keep moving forward when challenges come up in life. Who knows perseverance more than those who bravely serve our country and we are honored to dedicate this tour to them. We are a band that stands for ideals such as loyalty, honor, sacrifice and perseverance through our lyrics and how we conduct ourselves, and hope the tour will be a fitting tribute to every service member who attends. We look forward to raging with our fans who serve or have served in the US Armed Forces and thank them again for their service."

Charlotte, North Carolina’s WRETCHED has returned to the metal scene with a headlining tour and a new line-up. After a busy few months, the purveyors of technical death metal are ready and working on a set list that will take listeners back to where it all began and will be accompanied by a familiar face – Joel Moore. Gearing up to play tracks from all three albums, WRETCHED will explode onto the stage with a renewed sense of brutality and uninhibited aggression for a high-energy set. Through their impressive discography and relentless touring schedule, they have managed to receive nationwide recognition, praised for their methodical solos and stylized song-structures. Technical death metal outfit, WRETCHED have officially announced their sixth headlining tour to date. They are anxious to continue their wrath of fury with support from HUNTRESS and SILENCE THE MESSENGER. The tour kicks off in Fort Collins, Colo., on July 17, 2012 and ending at Hooligan’s on August 10, in Jacksonville, N.C.

WRETCHED completed a very successful run on this year’s Metal Alliance tour with metal acts such as DevilDriver, The Faceless, Dying Fetus, Job For A Cowboy and many more. They have since continued to grow and move their way up the metal ranks honing their technical abilities, while priding themselves on their music theory and composition.

WRETCHED is currently on tour slaying audiences with KING CONQUER and will continue into Canada joining thrash metallers, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, before starting their headlining tour with HUNTRESS and SILENCE THE MESSENGER. Catch their electrifying performance in a city near you - check dates HERE.

WRETCHED has announced a US headlining Summer 2012 tour with King Conquer starting June 14 and will continue on to Canada on July 4, 2012 to support 3 Inches of Blood in their tour. WRETCHED is super stoked to get back on the road this summer and complete their fifth headlining show before heading to Canada to support 3 Inches of Blood. Vocalist, Adam Cody said, “I'm pumped to visit our Canadian fans again. Even more so because the trek will include the metal powerhouse 3 Inches of Blood. They are fun to watch live and are a genuinely nice group of dudes!” Check out tour dates HERE to see when they will be coming to a city near you!

WRETCHED has just released a band demonstration video for “Dilated Disappointment”, from their newly released album, Son Of Perdition. This unique demonstration video gives WRETCHED fans the chance to watch how each band member perfects his craft. Fans can now learn WRETCHED’s tricks and master their sound. They can also enter to win a huge poster of the album artwork (seen in the background of the video) by recording themselves playing along with the video or by doing a vocal cover of ‘Dilated Disappointment”. Upload the video to YouTube, and post a video response to be entered. This contest will end April 13, 2012! Check out the video below.

Wretched's 2009 debut release "The Exodus Of Autonmy" was what drew me to these guys but since then I had forgotten they even existed until now. They have returned with now their third album called "Son of Perdition" the follow-up to 2010's "Beyond The Gate". Now this all new installment takes the band to much greater heights than their debut ever did the guitars are faster, riffs are slicker, drum beats more groovy with the vocals going over the top.

"Dilated Disappointment", "Repeat... The End Is Near", "Dreams Of Chaos", and "Karma Accomplished", are what make this release such a stunning one with the added addition of a three-part trilogy of songs called "The Stellar Sunset of Evolution" that really extends the Wretched's sound ever so further. The lyrics are brutal keeping in tune with the music being played from front to back never skipping a beat at all.

Overall this is indeed a release that goes beyond what the Wretched first released way back when and is a force needed to be reckoned with.

WRETCHED has released a music video for “Dilated Disappointment”, off Son Of Perdition, out 03/26.
“The song is about the regrets you’d feel watching the world come to an end”, says vocalist Adam Cody. He adds, “The message is more about feeling the anxious and angry content of the song rather than a cinema experience.” Check out the video HERE.

Watch Wretched demonstrate their sick guitar skills in this guitar demo/tab video for a brand new track called “Repeat… The End Is Near” from the upcoming album, Son of Perdition.

Wretched is set to release Son of Perdition on March 26th and will support the album on the Metal Alliance Tour which begins later this month, alongside Impending Doom, 3 Inches of Blood, Job For A Cowboy, Dying Fetus, The Faceless and Devildriver.

Pre-orders for Son of Perdition are now available HERE.

Wretched has entered the studio to record their third full-length album, Son of Perdition. The forthcoming effort is set for a March 27 release and will be produced by Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, He Is Legend, For Today) at The Basement Studio in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Last year, Wretched solidified its line-up with the addition of industry-veterans Adam Cody (Glass Casket) and Andrew Grevey (Loculus) taking the positions of vocalist and bassist, respectively. Son of Perdition marks the first official appearances by Cody and Grevey since their inception into Wretched.

The band took "a huge step forward, musically," confirms guitarist and one of the two founding members Steven Funderbunk on the new record. Funderbunk goes on to say, "Lyrically, the fans can expect an apocalyptic-type theme that portrays a very personal experience. This record will include some of our darkest and most mature material written to date."

Son of Perdition also exposes a "more melodic approach to the Wretched sound," says Funderbunk, " A lot of the drums are harmonically matched with a lot of the guitar riffs. We also used a lot of cool chords we haven't used in the past. It's far more rhythmic and grooves more than our previous records."

Wretched will support Son of Perdition on this spring's Metal Alliance Tour beginning in March, hitting 31 cities across the U.S. and Canada.
