Hard rock legends BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, fronted by guitar icon ZAKK WYLDE, have announced the Unblackened tour with support from Wino. Originally performed as a one night only concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles for a live CD/DVD release two years ago, the show will now make its way across the U.S.  The show will feature intimate versions of some of the band’s most popular songs, as well as songs from Wylde’s best-selling solo album Book of Shadows & his Southern rock band Pride & Glory.  “I always wanted to take Unblackened on the road, we just didn't have the time until now,” said Wylde. “You can take a song that you've played thousands of times and rearrange it, and all of a sudden it’s something totally fresh. The attitude of the songs doesn't change when we play them acoustically–the tunes are gritty regardless.”

Get ready for a raucous night of comedy, charity and chaos! Guitar World is proud to announce the magazine's first-ever Rock & Roll Roast with inaugural honoree Zakk Wylde. Presented by Epiphone Guitars and sponsored by Monster Energy Drink, EMG Pickups, Revolver Magazine, Marshall Amplification, Dunlop, Eagle Rock and Samson, the exclusive event will take place at The Grove in Anaheim, California on Thursday, January 19th, 2012; a portion of all proceeds will go to the MusiCares charity. Zakk Wylde was recently named one of the 100 greatest living rock stars by Revolver Magazine.

Roastmaster Sharon Osbourne and other metal-loving luminaries such as Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Jericho, Anthrax's Scott Ian, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Slipknot's Corey Taylor, as well as comedy and roast veterans Jim Norton, Brian Posehn, Jim Florentine and more will all take aim at the Black Label Society frontman and guitar icon, best known for his incredible axe chops, his golden locks and his signature Bullseye guitar line. Fresh from her recent stint on the Judas Priest tour, Lady Starlight (Lady Gaga's resident DJ) will also be on hand to serve as the evening's official DJ.

Roastee Wylde commented, "How can they roast me? I'm a good Catholic boy..." Roastmaster Sharon Osbourne explained, ""Zakk has always called me his Mom, but I think my boy needs a good kicking." Editorial Director of Guitar World, Brad Tolinski added, "We're excited to kick-off this new annual event, and who better than Zakk Wylde, to be our first... victim." To pass the time Black Veil Brides went back into the studio to record an EP simply titled "Rebels". It consists of 3-tracks 2 covers and one unreleased track off their latest album "Set The World On Fire" (2011). "Coffin", brings a doom but eerie vibe with a heavy undertone of modern day rock that really expands in the band's skills as musicians. Whilst the other two tracks are covers of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell", and Kiss's "Unholy", each adding its own BVB flare of momentum. For instance frontman Andy Biersack’s screaming abilities really picks up every now and then while adding the addition of infamous guitarist Zakk Wylde on Kiss’s cover makes it more rebellious than ever before. Overall BVB has done it again and will continue to rise up to be one of the most historic bands of our time.
