Klaymore have released a 5th anniversary edition of their sophomore album "It's Alive". Originally released in 2012, the album features three tracks from the original album re-recorded with the band's 2017 lineup along with an acoustic rendition of one of the songs and new album artwork. The CD was independently released and is available for streaming/purchase on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Bandcamp, Youtube, etc. The CD is also currently available for free digital download on the Klaymore Bandcamp page. A music video was also released for the song "Matriarch" and can be found on the Klaymore YouTube channel.

Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Klaymore is an independent metal band infused with elements from the power, speed, and thrash subgenres. A mixture of memorable melodies, concise songwriting, technical prowess, a hint of humor, and riffs for days has culminated to form their “New Breed” of heavy metal. The group is fronted by self-proclaimed “Queen Bitch of the Universe,” Lee Prisby, who throws everything in his four-octave vocal range at the listener, along with banshee shrieks and death growls. Klaymore’s lyrical themes cover a wide territory and range from their favorite Metroid game, mythology, normalized toxicity, existential dread, and the fact that “Life’s a Bitch (But So Are You).” So, sit back, relax, and let your senses succumb to the soothing, metallic clanging that is Klaymore.

Raw emotional energy is thrown about when it comes to It's Alive's debut album, "Human Resources", which showcases not only it's emotional context but its hard hitting case of memorable choruses with strong vocal tactics of Zach Webb that makes It's Alive quite promising indeed.

With this said, "Human Resources" does come into a mild crossover here and there sharing a similar trait to that of Linkin Park's style and characteristic ability. Take their current single "Pieces" its mellow but fast pacing moments drives the music into that area and makes the music hard yet mellow. Whereas other tunes like "The Bottom", and "Liar" play out to be nothing more than your average take on what rock music is truly made of in today's context. It’s Alive has built a ground of solid distorted power chord capabilities that really draw in the music.

“Human Resources”, is surly a complex source of material that invades the minds of the modern day rocker and equips them with such raw emotional material that it keeps them wanting more. It’s Alive is here to stay and will never be broken down to the pieces that they so claim of in this debut album effort.
