Italian horror metal veterans CADAVERIA unveil their latest video for "La Casa dell'Anima". The dark and atmospheric new hymn is taken from the band's sixth full-length record "Emptiness", out now via Time To Kill Records.

Cadaveria comments: "In my heart I have wanted to write a song in Italian for years. I always hesitated because I used to associate the Italian singing with the punk of Negazione, Indigesti and Nerorgasmo, which I listened to as a little girl, and I didn't think it could be combined with the spirituality and the black-dark-gothic mood of my lyrics. The passion for other cultures, the discovery of shamanism and my life experiences of the last five years have finally freed me from any preconceptions. I am happy to be able to tell you about my journey outside body and time, where I was guided by the rhythm of the shamanic drums, with my own language. An experience to cleanse, reconcile, make space and be reborn, translated into images by Marçelo, who has always made CADAVERIA videos with his Morbid Vision".

Italian Gothic-Black metal veterans CADAVERIA are pleased to be able to continue promoting their highly anticipated latest album “Emptiness” with the release of a new video for the song "The Sky That Screams Above Us", that can be watched here: youtu.be/TIJ20jY4TDs.

The simplicity of the shots, taken in the studio during the recording of the song, and the particularity of the vertical format (suitable for smartphones) come together in this new video, as another example of the synthesis of contrasts of which the band is a master.

Eleventh track from “Emptiness, an album graphically based on black and white dualism and musically characterized by the continuous chase of clean and growl vocals, by thrash metal outbursts and doom metal cadences, by black metal and classic metal riffing. Released on May 27th via Time to Kill Records “Emptiness” is the sixth album by CADAVERIA.

Time To Kill Records officially welcomes Italy’s CADAVERIA to the label’s roster, announcing their highly anticipated sixth album, “Emptiness”, for May release.

Whether you call them horror, gothic or dark metal, one thing is certain: in their 20+ years career CADAVERIA have become one of the most iconic bands of the Italian metal scene.

The “Emptiness” cover art, created by Roberto Toderico, has been revealed. Time To Kill Records will release the album on double LP, CD, cassette and digital formats on May 27th 2022. Watch for more album details, singles, preorders, and more to post in the weeks ahead.

CADAVERIA is the creative alter-ego of Italian-based metal singer Raffaella Rivarolo, better known by her stage name Cadaveria, one of the first women to hit the extreme metal scene in the early Nineties.

CADAVERIA band was founded in 2001 by Cadaveria herself and drummer Marçelo Santos, to freely express themselves as musicians and extreme artists.

Since CADAVERIA’s debut album The Shadows' Madame (2002) the band’s style is labeled Horror Metal. Their personal sound is imbued with gloomy and sinister atmospheres and it mixes Black Metal with classical Heavy Metal, Death Metal and Gothic influences. The lyrics, scheming, hermetic and introspective, mirror the dark soul and the vexed personality of the singer Cadaveria.

2021 is a meaningful one for CADAVERIA band, as the band celebrate its 20 years of activity. A career that boasts five full length albums, some reissues, an EP (with Necrodeath), a retrospective double DVD and a huge support from fans of Central America, where CADAVERIA have made a series of headlining tours, between 2007 and 2015.

From 2012 on, with the release of the most recent albums Horror Metal and Silence, CADAVERIA have been engaged in many live dates that have seen them protagonists of different stages in Russia, Germany, France, Belgium, Romania, as well as numerous Italian shows as headliner and in support of Cradle of Filth, Arch Enemy and many more.

CADAVERIA have recently released a series of new singles, that mark the band's return to the scene after a long pause, during which the singer had to be treated for cancer.

Cadaveria, act that just so happens to cross your path out of nowhere, then you wonder where has this act been all this time! Even though the time frame for said act has only been over 15 years and counting, Cadaveria has decided to take a blast from the past in their catalog of releases, re-releasing their second full-length album "Far Away From Conformity". The album was originally released back in 2004 but since it's been 13 years, lucky 13 to be precise the album is receiving this re-release with some improvements and minor differences in comparison to the first issue of release. This time around the "Far Away From Conformity" features new vocals on the song "Blood and Confusion", as well as "The Divine Rapture", with the added remixed and remastered edition of audio and album artwork to boot! So then how does this re-hash do in terms of quality, sound, and style, of the here and now, to the then and where? Well it just so happens to be a refresher for the right now.

As such, this re-release of this album is downright fun and really exciting for the new comers of the band that is Cadaveria. Cadaveria herself, naming said band after one self, just so happens to be the former vocalist and keyboard player of the band Opera IX, with other projects in tow DyNAbyte. But besides those brief details noted, Cadaveria's "Far Away From Conformity", takes the songs mentioned prior i.e. "The Divine Rapture", and "Blood and Confusion", both sound flushed and content, providing those re-done vocalization pipes that really make the music stand out in quality, style, and sound as a wholesome truths. In terms of the rest of the material. 9-tracks in all, you get hit with such numbers as "Omen of Delirium", "Out Body Experience", and "Prayer of Sorrow", with the added bonus of a Blondie cover of their song "Call Me", these selections and the remainder is just catchy, melody driven, and very upbeat in tones, rhythm and edginess.

Overall Cadaveria's second release of an album that once was and is still "Far Away From Conformity", is a good rehash of something heard prior. The re-release being a remaster of material that suits the band, right, both in quality and in terms of style of sound as well. Cadaveria is an act to follow as to not be missed either.

Cadaveria has released a new song titled "The Divine Rapture", in the form of a lyrical video created by Morbid Vision Italy. The track is taken from the brand new re-issue edition of the second album "Far Away From Conformity". Which features new vocals on "The Divine Rapture", "Blood and Confusion", as well as all new remixed and remastered audio and artwork!

The vinyl edition is available for pre-orders HERE with the CD edition available HERE. Downloadable versions from the digital services can be found HERE.

You can watch the lyric video for The Divine Rapture on Cadaveria official YouTube channel at this link: https://youtu.be/CEuu48owhLU.

Cadaveria has revealed that they will be re-releasing their second full-length sophomore album "Far Away From Conformity", on December 8th 2017. The album being originally released in 2004. The album's new cover artwork and tracklisting can be found below. This version of the album will be available to all igital stores and on CD, with a new graphic design. It comes out in deluxe digipack version with a twelve-page booklet via Sleaszy Rider Records. The colored vinyl version will be released via Shadows Records in a limited edition of 300 hand-numbered copies worldwide.

The vinyl LP will be out on January 12, 2018, exactly fourteen years after the first release. This is not just a reprint: the nine songs of Far Away From Conformity, including Blondie's cover Call Me, have been completely remixed and remastered for the occasion. In addition, a bug in the backup of the original recordings made in 2003, had caused the loss of some vocal tracks and it requested Cadaveria’s recent effort to re-record her voice for the songs Blood and Confusion and The Divine Rapture. A different and renewed edition, therefore, for the album that, since its title, proclaimed the personal style of Cadaveria music.

Cadaveria has released the third and last single of the Mondoscuro trilogy, entitled “Mater Tenebrarum”. The cover artwork shows Cadaveria herself acting as a sinister "Madonna (of the Darkness) with Child".

Besides being a Necrodeath cover, the track contains a clear reference to horror cinema, that has always been a source of inspiration for Cadaveria. In fact the final part of the song traces Dario Argento ‘Inferno’ movie’s main theme, originally composed by Keith Emerson. Among the guest artists the organist Ignis Forasdomine and Lindsay Schoolcraft from Cradle of Filth.

Cadaveria herself commented: "this is the very first vinyl release of our history and we are very pleased and excited. Usually we produce music videos along with our releases, but this time I thought to play with images in a different way. I will impersonate the titles of three songs from Mondoscuro, realizing three special shots, that will converge in the cover artwork for Mater Tenebrarum, Dominion of Pain and Christian Woman singles. We will release them monthly through digital stores, starting today till April. Today is the day of Christian Woman, our homage to Peter Steele.”
