2015

Monster High's upcoming fall 2016 movie special "Monster High Welcome to Monster High" has released a leaked teaser video that features footage of the NEW look and feel of the Monster High guys and ghouls. Instagram user Dane Alexandre or LOLiWinx on tumblr posted the video via HERE but you can see the video below.

Last One Standing is the fourth full-length album by Max Simchenko, musician, producer and composer from Belarus, which was released on the independent music label Venator Music. In spite of his young age, he has already gained popularity among different music fans. Many of his works could be heard on the screen (e.g. “Made in BY” – the Italian documentary film about Belarus which score includes the song Everything Will Fade Away from the 3rd Max’s studio album) as well as on several popular radio stations in Belarus and foreign countries. Every release of this musician differs from the previous ones by sound and whole stylistics as well. Untitled Project of Maks_SF was started in 2011 immediately after the breakup of his band Death In Tension which had advanced not only in awesome music presentation but also had interesting style that though had been rather different from the mainstream, nevertheless had absolutely precise and recognizable charm.

The new album is a combination of dance music, 80's science fiction, industrial and ambient. It also contains orchestral music elements that make it really unusual and unforgettable. The thrilling futuristic scenery, neon signboards, reflecting in puddles of lonely backstreets and other things are waiting for you.

The two main tracks The Insider and Pathfinder were recorded with French musician and singer Xavier Schattel who is better known as Crytek. These both tracks describe similar stories about the utopic world of sci-fi and cyberpunk where the Artificial Intelligence has long ago surpassed what people waited from it, the people themselves has become derelicts, and chromed sparkling skyscrapers impale the sky. The title song Last One Standing is an alternative version of The Insider where the vocals switch to the futuristic and amazingly melodic synth straight from Blade Runner. Despite the similarity of these two tracks, Last One Standing tells us completely another story and both tracks evoke entirely different emotions. Next song Sojourner narrates the story of droid-satellite and represents  a hybrid of ambient, jazz and electronics. Collector shows what is hidden deep under the night city streets and Halloween Kick in the Teeth gives you a pass to forbidden underground robot battles.

Due to the fact Max never restrains himself with any stylistic scopes, every his record is absolutely unusual and self-dependent.

In addition, as a bonus, the album contains three remixes made by different music producers in different genres such as dubstep (remix by Hydraulic Snake, Finland), dubcore (remix by Axon Rise, USA) and house (remix by DONOЯ, Russia).

While working on the album,  musician has used a wide amount of instruments, virtual and analogue as well, which makes the sound of this release quietly warm and involves the listener to the universe created by Max. Album was mastered by John R1se - the eminent music composer from Novosibirsk, Russia.

Thy Art Is Murder has split ways with vocalist CJ McMahon. The singer posted his reasons via his Facebook page saying "With a mix of both negative and positive emotions, I inform you all that I have parted ways with my band Thy Art Is Murder. It has been a wild ride I have traveled to over 40 countries around the world and played alongside some of the worlds biggest and best bands, it brings me great sadness knowing I will never perform again for my amazing and supportive fans, this will be the hardest thing for me to deal with. My reasons for leaving: I spend too much time away from my fiancé , family and friends, touring has taken a massive mental, emotional and physical toll on me. One of the biggest reasons is money, I / we have been broke for years and being 32 years old I can't live like this anymore. I am getting married next year and plan on having a family, these things cost money, to put the finances into perspective for you I /we have earned between $16k-$18k each over 6-7 years, I feel there is something massively wrong with this, I will not live like this anymore. I'm sorry to my fans that I have to go, I have loved you all and I thank you for believing in me supporting me. The money made from my closing down sale of my clothing label will be going to my wedding, I will also be selling my Northface stage jacket I have worn the last two years on stage via eBay soon to try to pay for my wedding for the people interested, again thank you for the love and support, Your Prince Of Darkness Cj."

The rest of the band released a statement on the Thy Art Is Murder Facebook page saying,

"After much conjecture and ambiguity on his behalf, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce today that CJ is no longer a part of THY ART IS MURDER. We have worked so hard from day one to make this band what it is now and develop the reputation that we have and he had been there with us every step of the way. We like to think that even if someone doesn't like our music that they can at least respect our work ethic.

This band has taken us to places we never thought we would see and to share stages with many bands we never thought we would get to play with or meet, let alone call friends. It is unfortunate that with our best year to date and our biggest paved out before us that he has decided to leave.

All this being said, touring as hard as we do does take its toll on you physically, but, more importantly, mentally and emotionally. We are an underground metal band and have been so fortunate over the last two years to carve out a small income thanks to so many dedicated and generous fans around the world. For some people, it comes to a turning point in their life where that income is no longer enough for their personal goals, and that point has come for CJ.

We would like to wish him all our best as he leaves the band and moves onward to start a family and new life with his loving fiancée. The four of us are continuing forward into 2016 for some of the biggest and best tours of our lives. We won't be slowing down or missing any shows. We head back out next month with PARKWAY DRIVE and ARCHITECTS throughout Europe and the U.K. and will be taking one of our favorite vocalists with us, Nick Arthur from MOLOTOV SOLUTION.

THY ART is what we have done with all of our adult lives and we have put absolutely everything we have into the band and the friendship between the four of us. That friendship and drive to create extreme music is what has kept us together through thick and thin. Unfortunately, not everyone can share this fire."

All In have released a video for "Capsized". "I'm so glad to have finally filmed this music video. We always wanted to do one and when we finally got around to this point in our career, we knew "Capsized" would be the right choice. I wrote this song to help kids understand that they aren't alone in their day to day struggles. Whether that be internal or external, your life is worth fighting for. Fight to be happy because at the end of the day, as people, we all just want to be happy. So many people, I find, in older generations do not believe someone as young as myself can be a voice of reason but I believe differently. I wrote this song for me. I wrote this song for you. Stay strong, and never let life defeat you," says Jared Daws. Check it out HERE.
