I Am Ghost's frontman vocalist Steven Juliano has given a reason as to returning to music, after announcing not that long ago of retiring from music, via his social media profile;

"MY REPLY ON RETURNING TO I AM GHOST: Ok, so lot's and lot's of you have been commenting "But STEVE, you retired!!!" and I get it. I did retire from music. I was done with it. Absolutely. The I Am Ghost members all know: Ronnie, Chad, Gabe, Timmy, Justin, Ryan... we have all tried for YEARS now to get this show going. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was incredibly busy with their other projects. Most of these gents were touring across the world in their other bands so we could never figure out a date for this show to work. Either I was in town that month and two others were in Europe or doing Warped Tour, or I was on tour with Requiem and they were home. It just never seemed to work. And suddenly it finally all just clicked. We were actually all available and some had left their other projects. So, with that said, I couldn't let this opportunity go. These guys are like my brothers, and I would love nothing more than to ROCK these I Am Ghost songs like it was 2008 all over again. Thanks for everyone caring or not. Steven Juliano has spoken... RAWWWWRRR!!!!"

What will the official line-up of the reunited I Am Ghost, be come their reunion comeback showcase this October 22nd 2016? It will be as follows;

I AM GHOST LINE-UP 2016:

Chicago-based rock band The Academy Is... is excited to announce their upcoming reunion tour in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their debut album, Almost Here. Officially kicking off this past weekend at Riot Fest Chicago, the tour will feature the band performing their debut album in its entirety, along with fan favorites from their catalog, throughout the month of December across North America at venues visited throughout their eight-year touring career. Beginning on Friday, December 4 at the House of Blues Orlando in Lake Buena Vista, FL, the tour will span 17 evenings and visit major markets such as Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, and more, culminating in a performance at The Observatory in San Diego, CA on Thursday, December 31. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 18 with a limited number of VIP packages going on sale today, Monday, September 14. More information on the tour can be found via http://www.theacademyis.com.

Formed in 2003 in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, The Academy Is... released its debut album, Almost Here, on Fueled By Ramen in 2005. From there, the band would release its Butch Walker-produced sophomore album, Santi, in 2007 and Fast Times at Barrington High in 2008 for Atlantic Records, an album that landed onto Rolling Stone Magazine's "50 Best Albums of the Year." Touring behind its expanding catalog, the band officially disbanded in October 2011.

Most recently in 2015, the members of The Academy Is... - Bill Beckett (Vocals), Mike Carden (Guitar), Adam Siska (Bass) and Andy "The Butcher" Mrotek (Drums) - were approached by Riot Fest and agreed to reunite and perform Almost Here to a hometown crowd in Douglas Park. The Italian thrash metal band from Naples called Kontra is back with a reunion! Their existence from 1999 to 2007 had them come back for this reunited event. The band being influenced by both the Bay Area thrash and by the German trash metal scene is now composed of 3 members, only one of which is the only remaining original member, singer/rhythm guitarist and founder Marco Barraco.

Konta has played live on many various stages in Naples and the suburbs producing not one but 2 demos "Strike Zero" being one released in 2003 in a limited quality if only 100 copies along with the "Demo 2005" that was never published due to the band's splitting up.
