PAPP star, PIKOTARO, is releasing his latest sushi themed song, prior to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020! The title is "Can you see? I’m SUSHI"!! "Japan is THE Sushi country but there were not so many songs about sushi, so now I hope people all over the world and Japan will sing this song!" says PIKOTARO.

In the music video, PIKOTARO charters a taxi for a day and visits wonderful sightseeing spots in Tokyo eating sushi. It’s the PIKOTARO style, cracking up, Tokyo travel guide video that anyone can enjoy even if they’ve never been to Tokyo.

Also, the album “I have a PPAP,” with additional tracks released in 2017-2018 to the 1st album "PPAP" released in 2016, including “Can you see? I’m SUSHI” is digitally released worldwide on July 13th !

PIKOTARO appeared on Niconico Douga’s #1 subscribers of artist channel, YOSHIKI CHANNEL’s 2nd Year Anniversary!

Speaking of YOSHIKI, he’s world widely known as member of the band X JAPAN, who have achieved showcases at world’s top 3 holy venues – Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, and Wembley Arena.  Lately, he was much-talked-about as the first Japanese man to be featured on the cover of VOGUE magazine.  PIKOTARO was requested by this international star to collaborate “PPAP” and X JAPAN’s “Forever Love” as an ad-lib during the show.  Amazingly, it turned out to be one of the most beautiful PPAP ever presented.

During the second half of the show, PIKOTARO presented his latest anime, “PIKOTARO’s LULLABY LALA BY”  and Japanese festival & dance music fusion track, “Love & Peace ONDO.”  Various positive reactions of the anime arouse from the fans, and YOSHIKI also praised PIKOTARO’s talent commenting, “Your idea about the music and anime are both simply amazing!!”

This is PIKOTARO's new idea of "Uhhh-ing" Japanese traditional dance, Bon Dance, and dance music... "Bon-Dance Music.”  PIKOTARO also fused Robot Dance, choreographed by worldwide famous animation dancer, Koutei Sennin.  His dance team, Time Machine, is known for catching the world’s attention when they won the first Golden Buzzer in the history of Asia’s Got Talent in 2015.

PIKOTARO would like to spread the Japanese traditional culture worldwide through this new fusion of Robot Dance + Obon Dance = "Robon-Dance"

As you may have noticed, the ‘cat’ headphones PIKOTARO is wearing is Ariana Grande’s model!  He admires Ariana so much that he personally purchased during his US visitJ.

PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen) was uploaded on YouTube on August 25th, 2016... Did anyone ever imagine that this would become a worldwide phenomenon?!?!

Billboard Chart, Guinness World Records, Kohaku Utagassen (Year-End Song Festival), Budokan Showcase, Summer Sonic, UEFA Champions League, United Nation... all started from this one, short, simple video on YouTube.... simply AMAZING!

Currently, PPAP (on PIKOTARO's official YouTube Channel), has over 120 million views,  and with over 100,000 related videos of total over 1.5 billion views. It's not too much to say that it's "one of the most worldwide famous track by Japanese artist!!"

Now, celebrating 1-year anniversary of PPAP, special program will be LIVE on-air on YouTube featuring music live, talk show, new single, and even special guests!!

On August 4th, Kosaka Daimaou, the producer of the global superstar, PIKOTARO, announced via bis blog that he was married on August 3rd.

His bride is Hitomi Yasueda, a TV talent. Kosaka Daimaou announced the following: “To everyone who’ve always supported me, after being around for 44 years, I never thought I would write something like this… At age 44 - the same as Randy Bass’s number… (former Hanshin Tigers baseball player) I got married with my long-time girlfriend, Hitomi Yasueda, yesterday, on August 3rd. “

He also added the following happy comments: “I am a grown-up, but my wife and I are still inexperienced, however, we want to build a happy family together. For example, we pick up the rolling chopsticks from the floor and open the window together to let the dragonfly out of the classroom (anyway, I can’t give good examples).  Seriously though, I will work hard to make a good life for us.”

Also, PIKOTARO has sent this comment: “Hi, it’s PIKOTARO. I feel that they are like a turtle and cow, a rain cloud and red bean and Machu Picchu and Nedved. Sorry, I can’t give good examples.They get along so well, they are like me and my wife Tami (78 years old). The four of us will work hard together! Yoropiko omedeto - gozaima Piko! “

 Also, PIKOTARO’s mysterious wife Tami was revealed first time to the world  in the picture that was posted in the blog this time. Kosaka Daimaou’s wife Yasueda commented; “He always makes me laugh and we have great time together, so I hope to build a happy family.”

Kosaka Daimaou is experiencing smooth sailing both officially and privately. It is all up to him for PIKOTARO to make a leap forward.

With the infectious bizarre phrase “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen” (PPAP), PIKOTARO age 53, singer/songwriter from Chiba, Japan releases 4 songs including “PPAP” in 134 countries, only through digital distribution on Oct 7th. PIKOTARO finally made a world debut.

“PPAP” all started when PIKOTARO posted the song on YouTube by himself. The word spread from teenage girls and internationally, creating a buzz. TIME, BBC, CNN and other global media in Europe, US, and Asia took notice of the sensation and “PPAP” resulted in being covered by numerous media around the world.

Furthermore, Justin Bieber who boasts 88 million followers on Twitter, tweeted it was his “favorite video” and lead to the viral explosion. Also in Japan, it is being covered by countless media and has become a social phenomenon. Meanwhile, PIKOTARO himself tweeted “Master Justin Bieber…?!” and now his profile writes “My life saver is Justin Bieber.”

“PPAP” is adding its views, day by day. The total number of all view counts of all sites in the world, has already surpassed 200 million. Not only Japanese stars, but international celebrities and people are copying the dance. The number of its related videos are well over 36,000.

In such situation, PIKOTARO has finally made his much anticipated world debut. You better watch his next move.
