On October 20th, GWAR will release a new studio album entitled "The Blood of Gods" via Metal Blade Records.  In support of the new album, your Lords and Masters will leave their arctic slumber and return to the road to cause aural (and anal) devastation across North America.  Joining in the chaos will be Ghoul, Doyle (10/20-11/5), He Is Legend (11/7-12/10) and U.S. Bastards.  The tour kicks off in Richmond, VA on October 20th and runs through December 10th in Detroit, MI.  The tour includes a stop in New York City on Halloween as well!  A complete list of dates can be found below.

The Berserker Blothar had this to say about the upcoming tour: "Humans, we are coming to tear your world apart with a live performance the likes of which has never been seen on this or any other planet! This album, "The Blood of Gods," is the greatest thing since French toast.  Just hearing these songs performed will result in an instant paroxysm of weeping, gnashing of teeth, and the uncontrollable voiding of your filthy bowels. Now, we are taking the whole bloody shit show on the road, with the most spectacular, blood-drenched, gruesome, and terrifying rock concert of all time. Don't miss your chance to sacrifice yourself to GWAR at a venue near you!"

Bohabs! Be the coolest corpse in the pile! Don't miss your chance to pledge your allegiance to GWAR each night when they rape and pillage your town. Head to https://www.gwarvip.com to take part in "The Lords and Masters VIP Experience".

There are only 5 VIP TICKETS available per show, that's it so don't wait. General admission tickets and VIP Packages go on sale to the public this Friday August 18th at 10:00 AM Eastern.

The Lords and Masters VIP Experience Includes:

One (1) General Admission Ticket with Venue Early Entry (potentially guest list)
Exclusive access to GWAR soundcheck where you will pledge allegiance to your Lords & Masters!
Invitation to play a GWAR instrument onstage at soundcheck
Tour of the weapons of your Lords & Masters
Crowd Free Merch Access
One (1) Souvenir item signed by members of GWAR
One (1)  Souvenir GWAR laminate
Photo opportunity with GWAR before the show
You will be killed by GWAR on stage during the show.
Designated Slave Pit Area to pledge your allegiance before you are killed on stage by GWAR!

Concerning the album;  "The Blood of Gods" is nothing less than a sacred text chronicling the rise of humanity against their makers, and the massive battle between GWAR and the forces of all that is uptight and wrong with the world. Along the way, the band challenges the sins of their great mistake, from politics, pollution, and organized religion, to fast food, and factory farming. Humans are shown as what they are; a parasitic disease that must be eradicated before they suck the planet dry. Meanwhile, Sleazy P. Martini, the crooked entrepreneur who discovered the Scumdogs, and has always envisioned them as a sort of horrific boy band, finally managed to convince the group to write a hit song called "I'll Be Your Monster." If all goes according to plan, it may be just stupid enough to work!

GWAR LIVES MOTHERFUCKERS!

As announced on the Black Carpet at the The Epiphone Revolver Music Awards 12/13, former MISFITS guitarist DOYLE WOLFGANG VON FRANKENSTEIN has signed a label and distribution deal with EMP LABEL GROUP, who will not only release AS WE DIE, the upcoming sophomore LP from the legendary guitarist’s eponymous project DOYLE, but distribute all releases for the guitarist’s label MONSTERMAN RECORDS.

EMP, the label vessel of Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, with operations headed up by former Corporate Punishment President/A&R/Marketing exec Thom Hazaert, home to artists including A Killer’s Confession, Motograter, Heaven Below (featuring Patrick Kennison of Lita Ford/Union Underground), Broken Teeth, Doll Skin, Helstar, Cage9, Green Death, Arise in Chaos, former Faith No More vocalist Chuck Mosley, and many more, started out with deep ties into the Doyle camp, according to EMP’s Hazaert.

“I worked really closely with Bruce (Miyaki – Doyle’s Manager) and MONSTERMAN on (Doyle’s 2013 release) Abominator, and I was actually the marketing director out of the gate on that release. Over the years, I’ve stayed involved, and we’re all good friends, and with David (Ellefson), who also has a great relationship with DOYLE, eventually as EMP came to fruition the conversation inevitably came up about seeing if there was a fit there. With everything else going on in all of our Worlds, it took a bit of a detour to finally get here, but I can’t express how excited we are to finally be able to put this all together. The legacy of someone like DOYLE, who is SUCH a legendary talent, is always such an amazing gift when it comes to putting out records, especially for a label like EMP, where we are all HUGE, genuine music fans. And there’s really not many out there who can hold a candle to DOYLE, in terms of talent OR legacy.”

EMP President David Ellefson agrees. “I’ve always loved Doyle and we’ve had a great relationship that goes back a long time. We’d started some talk last year when Doyle and Alissa (White-Gluz) came out to do some stuff with Metal Allegiance, and it just became an ongoing conversation over the past year. Now that it’s official, we’re extremely excited to be able to not only push out this new DOYLE record, which is amazing, but all the killer MONSTERMAN titles via EMP.”

Says Doyle, “When Dave came to me with an offer for our new CD As We Die it was a no brainer. He has been a good friend of mine for 20 + years, and has never done me wrong, and in this business that’s unheard of. We didn’t want to release it ourselves on Monster Man, we wanted a bigger push and EMP has a lot of exciting things happening in 2017 that will do that for us.”

DOYLE the current project of Von Frankenstein, with CANCERSLUG vocalist Alex “Wolfman” Story, and a current lineup rounded out by bassist Brandon Strate and drummer Brandon Pertzborn, continues the lineage of Doyle’s former projects, pairing crushing metal riffs with ferocious Punk Rock swagger and the theatrical intensity one would expect from one of the reigning kings, and erstwhile creators, of Horror-Core.

In addition to the upcoming sophomore release from DOYLE, EMP/MONSTERMAN will release several limited edition vinyl configurations, as well as a CD reissue of DOYLE’s Critically-acclaimed ABOMINATOR, the upcoming LP from LA Industrial Metal mainstays DEAD GIRLS CORP., and several additional 2017 releases TBA.

Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein has been around for years since the day of his time as being the guitarist of The Misfits he's taken his love and concept for horror rock and era of those golden days and infused that into his newest side project he'd like to call after himself, Doyle.

Doyle's debut release "Abominator",  is a heavier approach to his previous project Gorgeous Frankenstein, now he's taken that horror aspect developing a fresher concept and appeal if you will. Doyle being an impressive and creative twist of art when it comes to the music itself, is quite compelling with songs like "Learn to Bleed", "Cemeterysexxx", and "Bloodstains", it goes without saying that with titles such as these, this is compelling with that alone. As such the material is heavily infused with roaring guitar riffs, fusing drum attics, with ghoulish vocal chords that spindles it altogether into a giant spider web of material, having the horror concept with heavy metal blended right in.

In short Doyle's "Abominator",  release takes what he likes and loves exposing it once more to a generation of music go getters just eager to take in that fresh air of horror inspired music!

In the fallen remains of The Misfits rose a project that would find its origins through the vision of Guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein. Doyle, the hulking Misfits axe man, with his unmistakable presence and notorious guitar sound began to write songs that would soon be recorded and released under the banner of the name Gorgeous Frankenstein, which would later be changed to Doyle! Now that Doyle is on the road alongside Danzig busting out the old tunes of the historic past of The Misfits era, Doyle himself has taken some time to discuss the current touring trek and newest album release Abominator, with a second and third follow-up in the works as well as even further touring to really get that Doyle edge!

1. Introduce yourself, tell me what you do in DOYLE, and how long the band has been together.

Doyle: We've been working together since 2008, just got the record finished and put out an advance copy on April 17th of the Danzig tour, and once I get home we're going to add the lyrics and another song on it and put it out for release, get the ball rolling.

2. Do you ever see the original line-up of The Misfits to ever get back together? Would you ever consider getting back together even if it was for one showcase?

Doyle: I hope so I think that would be awesome and I would like to do it. But it's not up to me, I would say yes and I am trying to talk to the other guys they like to be the boss so... It would be great!

3. Do you ever get tired of answering questions about The Misfits?

Doyle: Naw not at all.

4. Tell me why did you want to make the Doyle's Made In Hell Hot Sauce?

Doyle: A friend of mine wanted to make it, so we had given money to this one guy and then made some samples and we rolled with it and it's a fun thing to have and a good sauce and I like to eat it.

5. What's it like be able to be a part of this Danzig 25th Anniversary Tour? You've had the chance to play alongside Glenn Danzig a few times now, how does this make you feel? Does it bring back the good old days of The Misfits?

Doyle: It's like a circus we have a good time here, very easy going and everyone works hard, got their jobs down,  just fun playing the old songs its fun.

6. Since your time with The Misfits, you have had other alternative projects, Kryst The Conqueror, Gorgeous Frankenstein, and now Doyle, would you ever consider bringing together all those acts onto one tour?

Doyle: No I just want to do the Doyle thing right now, we recorded  two albums at the same time and almost finished with the third one, once I get back home finish that album up with a few more songs, give it a title, and then release it that way we can just play shows not having to worry about recording another record, that's where we're at right now.

7. How would you say that this band has evolved from Gorgeous Frankenstein to Doyle?

Doyle: The songs were written at the same time and my singer left me a message so I called him up and he said let's change the name of the band, I said alright what should we change it to? How about Doyle? I said alright because the problem was this, people would come see us play and opening for Danzig only like 20 people or so would show up afterwards and tell me they didn't know I was in a band and was playing tonight. Or when we did our own tour I lost my shirt, we'd get 30 to 50 people and say again we didn't know you had a band with that band so it was the smartest thing to do really.

8. You've released your new album, Abominator, what can you tell me that hasn't been said about it already?

Doyle: I don't know what has been said I have been on the road but I guess it's been humbling and it's the best thing I have released, everyone who listens to it doesn't hear the same song so that's a good thing.

9. Why did you want to do an advance release of this album only at these Danzig showcases?

Doyle: I wanted to enlighten everyone that I have a band and it's called Doyle. The biggest problem I had was letting everyone know I had a band so everyone coming to the shows before didn't know who I was, so playing these Danzig shows, my name is on the bill and everyone knows who I am so buy the record.

10. What are your expectations for the CD?

Doyle: I want to make a living doing this, not work the regular job, be able to write music all day long, because you see with music people downloading it for free and not buying it, it's like say someone has a motorcycle why sell a bike so why sell our songs? So many people would be surprised to know that a lot of their favorite musicians are working a regular everyday job. Like 99% of them have regular everyday jobs only like 5 people I know of do not have to do that.

11. What plans do you have for the rest of this year?

Doyle: Finish up this tour just doing a lot of shows, trying to talk to Glenn into going to Japan and other places like Europe, East Coast, I know the music part but the business part I hit that brick wall so I need someone to help get the word out about this new record.

12. Anything else you'd like to say or add?

Doyle: Just buy the records, the songs, you want more go buy them don't steal them, it's our product to help feed our kids and families that's about it.
