Raleigh-based band and dad-punk aficionados, TLE, have released a brand new single, "Kids Eat Free." The track is the third single the band has released off their forthcoming album and features vocals from Jaret Reddick from Bowling For Soup. The single and accompanying music video is premiering on New Transcendence and can be viewed HERE.

Self-proclaimed dad-punk band, TLE, has released a brand new single, "Where The Highway Ends." The track, which is also accompanied by a music video, is the third single that the band has released this year. TLE are also excited to have Tony Lovato from Mest as a guest vocalist on the song.

Unlike the two previous songs that talk about some of the challenges of parenting, "Where The Highway Ends" is about TLE's glory days when they originally started the band and the stressful task of making it to a show on time. The music video features live footage from two different shows that TLE performed in 2002 and 2003! When discussing the new single, TLE stated, "Don't call it a comeback. Well, since this song is really about us, 15 years ago, when we were originally a band, maybe call it a comeback? As long as we are coming back from something 'awesomer' than TLE. Like The Legitimate Excuse. Hmmm... we certainly can't promise 'awesomer' but we can promise shorter. So short, in fact, it's almost as if it never even existed. Which, to be fair, is probably an 'awesomer' thing."

Raleigh-based "dad punk" band TLE has released a brand new single! The track, titled "Now, You Will Go to Sleep, Or I Will Put You to Sleep... You're in My World Now, Kiddo," is the second song the band has released since announcing their signing with Revival Recordings (themselves) earlier this year. TLE is also excited to have Joe Reo from Hidden In Plain View as a guest vocalist on the single. When speaking about the experience of recording with TLE, Joe Reo stated, "What struck me about the project immediately was its creativity. I loved the freedom the guys were taking with their music and was honored and humbled to be a part of it. It’s Dad rock at a whole new level. Seriously, just wait until you see the video."

The single talks about the challenges of getting your kids to go to sleep but of course in hard-hitting, dad punk fashion. When discussing the track, guitarist and backing vocalist Nick Onorato says, "Punk Rock Dads Unite! Our first step towards involving Punk Rock dads from all over the industry begins with NYWGTSOIWPYTS...YIMWNK. Most importantly though, you need to watch the video. Not for the music, the music is terrible. But for the kids, the kids are so damn adorable that I promise that after you watch the video you will say, 'that music was terrible, but those kids are so damn adorable.' Also, Joe Reo (Hidden in Plain View) was kind enough to lend us his vocalistic stylings and he's awesome." Continuing, vocalist Shawn Milke stated, "You could watch the video on mute to avoid the music, but then you would miss...the...um. Yea, just watch on mute, I've got nothin'."

In an unprecedented move, Revival Recordings has announced the signing of TLE (themselves) to a highly lucrative, earth-shattering thirty-two album deal! The Raleigh-based "dad punk" group is set to make a statement: "Being a dad is cool. Long gone are the days of singing about girlfriends and partying! TLE brings to light the challenges of taking kids out to eat, PTA meetings, and getting kids to go to sleep in fast-hitting, adrenaline fueled pop-punk tunes."

When speaking about the signing of TLE, Revival Recordings owner and vocalist of TLE, Shawn Milke had this to say: "Signing our own band was a really tough decision. We are not very good musicians, or songwriters for that matter. And let's be real here, the concept of #dadpunk is plain ridiculous. I'm pretty sure this band is going nowhere, but I felt strangely obligated to sign us."

Revival partner and TLE guitarist Nick Onorato adds: "On the other hand, TLE has the potential to win a Grammy this year for Best Rock Album, Best Pop Album, Best Lead Vocalist, Best Drummer, Best Bass Guitarist, Best Rap Artist, Best Instrumental Album, Best Piano Solo, Best Female Artist, Best New Artist, Artist Lifetime Achievement Award, and Best Worst Artist. That's some serious hardware."

Along with the announcement, the band released a video of the signing with a sneak peek of a new track titled "A Pretty Nice Little Dadurday", which has an accompanying video set for release on March 21st 2018. More information about TLE's new album will be released soon enough!
