ROCKSHOTS RECORDS is proud to announce the signing of Greek classic heavy metal thrashers SENSE OF FEAR for the release of their debut album "As The Ages Passing By…".

First unleashing their self-titled EP in 2013, SENSE OF FEAR are ready to reveal their follow up full length "As The Ages Passing By…". Years in the making, the release has an old school heavy metal feel with a modern pounding anvil. Each track was carefully selected for a good old headbanging time along with telling a unique story.

The band comments: "Each song has its own gravity to the album, and all together create SENSE OF FEAR’s presentation to the world as a band and as musicians. All the lyrics come from personal experiences and emotions. This is our way to express ourselves and fight the personal demons."

"As The Ages Passing By…" was recorded at Valve Studio in Thessaloniki, Greece by Stratos "Strutter" Karagiannidis (Gus G , Wardrum) with mixing and mastering done at Music Factory and Prophecy Studios in Kempten-ALLGÄU, Germany by R.D. Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, Devil's Train) & C. Schmid. Album artwork designed and edited by Colin Marks (Nevermore, Exodus, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Kataklysm, Jeff Loomis, Xerath, Sylosis).

ROCKSHOTS RECORDS is proud to announce their latest signing of SHADYGROVE for the release of their debut album "In The Heart of Scarlet Wood".

Featuring members from Elvenking, Evenoire, and Sound Storm, Italy’s SHADYGROVE journey into our primordial and mythological past for inspiration. Like musical time travelers or aural archaeologists, they have trawled eras beyond most bands’ inspiration to create music from the soul…for the soul!

Theirs is an acoustic heaviness that is truly original and special. It’s as though, like the myths and legends that inspire them, SHADYGROVE have always been with us, in the Celtic Otherworld, just waiting for us to look with our hearts rather than our eyes. SHADYGROVE make music as fresh as tomorrow’s dawn.

Violinist Fabio "Lethien" Polo describes SHADYGROVE’s sound as "folk, ethnic, acoustic Celtic pop. We are trying to bring the popular music of our regions, mixed with Celtic and Medieval music, to a more modern view without altering its soul. We write very evocative songs to guide the listener on a journey to where nature still rules."

Singer Lisy Stefanoni explains SHADYGROVE’s inspirations. "We love the different styles of folk music and the various approaches of the main musicians. We also love the Celtic music. In the metal genre, folk metal inspires us the most. We listen to bands like Eluveitie, In Extremo, also symphonic projects like Ayreon and The Gentle Storm. Those who love folk-metal will certainly appreciate our songs because we all come from that musical background. We take our fans on a journey to a place where myths are real and there is evidence of the magic forces of our planet. In this world the listener can meet legendary creatures walking into enchanted landscapes or see ancient rituals happening."

Fans of Blackmore’s Night and Loreena McKennitt will find much to love on their debut album "In The Heart of Scarlet Wood".

American power metallers Sonic Prophecy have revealed their second single "Unholy Blood", off their upcoming third full length "Savage Gods" via Rockshots Records on January 19th 2018.

The band comments: "This classic heavy metal track is about dealing with the ongoing horrors and human atrocities associated with radicalized religious zealotry around the globe.  We really love the soaring chorus on this one! This is a gritty track lyrically and the vocal attack and music reflects this."

This third album from ex-Shaman members and Aquiles Priester (ex Angra, Tony McAlpine) also features a guest appearance from Adrenaline Mob’s Mike Orlando on their track "Wake Up" to follow their previous releases ‘Noturnall’ (one of the best sellings records on Brazil Rock/Metal charts) and ‘Back To Fuck You Up’. Vocalist Thiago Bianchi comments: ""9" is about of the mysteries of the number Nine. If you take a good look at the album cover, you’ll learn that are 9 secrets on it.
