On Saturday, April 7, hard rock rising stars Cane Hill performed at NXT Take Over: New Orleans, as part of WWE's WrestleMania Weekend. The band opened NXT TakeOver with "It Follows," one of the event's Official Theme Songs, inside the sold-out Smoothie King Center in their hometown of New Orleans.

The band also performed with Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale, playing NXT Superstar Ember Moon's entrance theme "Free the Flame" before her Championship match.

"Opening NXT TakeOver and doing an entrance theme with Lzzy Hale was downright the coolest experience we’ve ever had," said Cane Hill singer Elijah Witt. "It's amazing seeing NXT and underground metal joining together to make both worlds bigger than ever and we're just honored to have been a part of it."

Last month, it was announced that Cane Hill was selected as #NXTLOUD artist and their singles "Lord of Flies" and "It Follows" would serve as the Official Theme Songs for #NXTTakeover: New Orleans.

Both tracks appear on the band's second album, "Too Far Gone", out now via Rise Records.

New Orleans' hard rock rising stars Cane Hill are pleased to announce their selection as #NXTLOUD artist, and that their new songs "Lord of Flies" and "It Follows" will serve as Official Theme Songs for WWE's NXT Takeover: New Orleans. WWE's Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative Paul "Triple H" Levesque confirmed the news on Wednesday via Twitter.

WWE's NXT Takeover: New Orleans takes place Saturday, April 7 at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA, streaming live at 8ET/5PT, exclusively on the award-winning WWE Network.

"We're incredibly excited to intertwine our brand of heavy metal into the seams of NXT. Sports entertainment has always gone hand in hand with heavy music and it's a true honor to have our songs represent WWE's NXT Takeover: New Orleans," said Cane Hill.

"We are thrilled to welcome Cane Hill into the WWE Music family," Neil Lawi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, WWE Music Group. "Their unique blend of metal and hard rock fits perfectly into our #NXTLOUD music program, which continues to evolve, and is a great addition to WrestleMania Weekend in New Orleans."

Female-fronted metal group Butcher Babies have announced their national co-headlining "Kings & Queens Tour" alongside fellow hard rock royalty Nonpoint. Rising heavy metal band Cane Hill and punk/rock group Sumo Cyco will join as support.

"Since our inception, we have strived to create a performance that is a full on assault to the senses. We always felt that if you pay your hard earned money to see a show, you should get just that, a show! Raw energy, passion, and intensity," shares co-frontwoman Carla Harvey. Heidi Shepherd adds: "We are excited to bring our devout U.S. fanbase a headlining set with lots of surprises; digging deep into our new album Lilith and sprinkling in some old favorites from our last nine years as a band."

On the "Kings & Queens Tour," Nonpoint frontman Elias Soriano comments: "The time off was fun, but it's back to the business of moving crowds. The new music we play will show where we're at and what we're looking for out of the crowds in terms of reaction. We have pulled no punches! The live show is what we're about, so expect our best on this run with the Queens in Butcher Babies."
