Japanese gothic metal band Yousei Teikoku will release their 3-song single “Disorder” on USA iTunes on May 20, allowing fans to get the band’s latest tracks right before their live concert appearance at A-Kon 2016 in Dallas, Texas, on June 3.

Yousei Teikoku is already well-known to American anime fans for contributing songs to Future Diary and Tokyo ESP, among others. Their latest collaboration, “Disorder,” is featured as the the theme song to the anime series Big Order (with story by Future Diary‘s Sakae Esuno).

Japanese gothic metal band Yousei Teikoku has released their new music video “Disorder”, the opening theme for the anime series Big Order (with story by Future Diary‘s Sakae Esuno) which began broadcast this month in Japan. “Disorder” is Yousei Teikoku’s 18th single, due for release on April 27, just as the band begins a multi-city tour of Japan in April and May.

Yousei Teikoku will cap off their Japan tour with a stop at A-Kon 27 in Dallas, Texas, for a special one-night performance during the Japanese anime and culture event held June 3-5, 2016. Yousei Teikoku’s loyal subjects will also have a rare chance to meet vocalist Yui, the Empress of the “Fairy Empire”, in person for autographs and a Q&A session.

Yousei Teikoku has created a video message for A-Kon fans, with strict instructions on how royal subjects of the Fairy Empire should prepare for the hard rock concert in Dallas, where American fans will have their first chance to experience live performances from the band’s latest album, SHADOW CORPS[e]. Released in late 2015, SHADOW CORPS[e] features the band’s heaviest collection of recorded material to date.

Japanese trauma techno-pop group URBANGARDE has released a music video “Coin Locker Babies” from their live-show only mini-album release Shojou Kaitai, featuring costume design by Japanese lolita fashion company Angelic Pretty.

Japanese techno-rock band URBANGARDE will make their American performance debut at A-Kon® 26 in Dallas, Texas. The band's outrageous videos and live stage shows combining schoolgirl fetishes, exorcisms, and giant-baby samurai duels have garnered them multiple sold-out shows in Japan and an intense worldwide following.

URBANGARDE is a self-described “Trauma Techno Pop” band, mixing male and female vocals, outrageous performance-art visuals, and daring social commentary. After completing three independent albums, they released their major debut singles “Skirt Kakumei” and “Tokimeki ni Shisu” from Universal Music Japan in 2011, followed by their first major-label album release Mental Hells. URBANGARDE’s 2012 album Geiger Counter Culture achieved the number 10 position on the daily Oricon chart in Japan and made the top 25 on its weekly chart.

In 2012, URBANGARDE ranked in the top 5 J-Pop artists on France's NOLIFE TV and made their French live performance debut at the Toulouse Game Show (TGS). URBANGARDE returned to France in 2013 for Japan Expo and released their greatest hits compilation Koi to Kakumei to URBANGARDE, featuring the song “Tokai no Alice.”


URBANGARDE’s latest album Utsukushii Kuni was released in June 2014 on their new label Tokuma Japan Communications, featuring artwork by renowned Japanese painter Aida Makoto. The same year URBANGARDE released music videos for “Sakura Memento” and “One-Piece Shinjuu”. URBANGARDE will make their USA performance debut in 2015 at A-Kon® 26, presented by RESONANCE Media.
