With their seventh studio album VINDICATE available in two weeks, Black Veil Brides are back with a collaboration the metal world never saw coming.

"Revenger" featuring Machine Head is the latest song (the seventh if you are keeping score) from the Spinefarm debut out on May 8. The track frames vengeance as fantasy and delusion, following a self-styled avenger convinced that retribution could deliver justice. "Revenger" featuring Machine Head further showcases the versatility of the band comprised of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma.

"I have always been interested in the sort of ethical dilemma that we have culturally of cheering for justice. I thought it would be an interesting exercise to write lyrics from the perspective of someone who is trying to seek out the ultimate form of justice.  Because I was writing from someone else's voice, this felt like the kind of song that would be best served by having someone else's voice on the song. So, we brought in Robb Flynn of Machine Head. The reason he came to mind first was of course his voice, tonality and style I thought was perfect for this. He is also someone who was one of the first real defenders of Black Veil Brides. In the early days when we were getting absolutely shit on by every other metal band, Robb Flynn and Machine Head stood up for us and said positive things about us and has maintained that for years and years. I think it's one of my favorite songs on the record."

The song is available via all digital service providers HERE.

With anticipation building at every turn, Black Veil Brides have announced their highly anticipated seventh studio album, VINDICATE. The record will be released worldwide on May 8 via Spinefarm.

The album is now available for pre-order here: https://blackveilbrides.lnk.to/vindicatepreorder

From the opening organ introduction and dramatic soliloquy of “Invocation To The Muse” to the emotive finale of “Eschaton,” the band—vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma—deliver one of the most ambitious chapters of their career. Previously released singles including “Bleeders,” “Hallelujah,” and “Certainty” have already showcased the band’s continued musical evolution while maintaining the theatrical intensity that has defined their sound.

“This record is rooted in the feelings of revenge and vindication. These are emotions that can either push us forward or hold us back. There’s a duality to them. They can fuel growth, drive ambition, and help us rise above what’s tried to break us, but they can also become destructive if we let them consume us,” explains Andy Biersack.

Each song explores a different side of that struggle. Sometimes it’s about getting even with someone else, sometimes it’s about confronting ourselves and our past, our pain, or the things that were done to us. At its core, though, this album is about resilience.

It’s for anyone who’s ever had their dreams doubted or their fire challenged by people who couldn’t see their vision. We’re all born with that spark. The world will try to take that away at times, but this record is about holding onto it, fighting back, and turning those struggles into something powerful.”

The latest preview from the album arrives with the release of the title track, “Vindicate.” Featuring a haunting calliope introduction that erupts into a driving wall of guitars and Biersack’s signature scream, the song captures the dramatic scale and power fans have come to expect from Black Veil Brides. The track is now available across all digital service providers.

A NSFW music video directed by George Gallardo Kattah (who also helmed the visual for “Certainty”) can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n1vhLn_iIQ.

Black Veil Brides are ushering in the new year with the release of their powerful new single and music video, “Certainty.”

The single will appear on the upcoming album from the band comprised of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian Coma — due for release via Spinefarm later this year—and is available now on all digital service providers here: https://blackveilbrides.lnk.to/Certainty

“The concept of ‘Certainty’ is central to this record and appears throughout the album,” explains Biersack. “The song was inspired by the film Conclave, particularly its reflections on religious certainty and how rigid belief systems can become prisons of our own making. When certainty hardens, curiosity, growth, and the willingness to change become impossible. Much of today’s political and social discourse exists inside these echo chambers of absolute belief, and that tension drives the narrative of this record.”

To coincide with the release, Black Veil Brides have unveiled a striking new music video for “Certainty,” directed by George Gallardo Kattah (Chelsea Wolfe, Maneskin) and filmed while the band was on tour in Colombia. Featuring stunning cinematography and an intensity reminiscent of an A24 motion picture, the video mirrors the song’s themes. Further, it exemplifies the bold visual identity Black Veil Brides have cultivated throughout their career.

On the heels of a successful tour alongside Baby Metal, Black Veil Brides are back with their first piece of new music since 2024’s chart-topping single “Bleeders.” The band – comprised of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton and drummer Christian Coma - return to their roots with the aggressive new track “Hallelujah.” The Tampa Florida based choir “One Voice Ensemble” also leant their talents to the recording. The song is being released by their label partners Spinefarm and was produced by Andy Biersack and Jake Pitts. “Hallelujah” is now available via all digital service providers here: https://blackveilbrides.lnk.to/Hallelujah

“’Hallelujah’ is an important song for us, not only because it is the first track from the new record, but also as a signifier of what’s to come for the band. On a narrative level, it represents the themes and ideas I am exploring lyrically on the album. I am fascinated by the current state of discourse and how often we seem to prioritize ideological certainty over the heart and soul of humanity. Over the years we have developed a tremendous connection with our audience, which is often dismissed or misinterpreted by the ‘scene.’  We stand at a unique inflection point culturally and I want to be able to speak openly about how much I believe in being true to yourself over the fear of mass hysteria or in-group recriminations,” explains Andy Biersack. “When my grandfather's voice spoke to ‘the outcasts’ in the first moments of our first record in 2010, it was a sincere call to arms for all those who feel different. In many ways this record is the natural evolution of that same idea. This is the heaviest and most vitriolic BVB record by far but more importantly I believe it is the most sincere and honest record we have ever made.”

To coincide with the new single, Black Veil Brides is releasing an animated video for “Hallelujah.” The video is directed by Marco Pavone (The Black Dahlia Murder, Pink Floyd, Shadow of Intent). The band will continue to release more visual content over the coming months to support the new song. A teaser for the track got fans in a frenzy when it was released last week. The official music video for “Hallelujah” can be seen HERE.

BLACK VEIL BRIDES kick off a new season of redemption and revenge with "Bleeders," a cinematic music video, battle cry, and tour conceived by band leader Andy Biersack. The "Bleeders" single and enchanting music video (directed by Jensen Noen) coincide with a forthcoming EP of the same name.

The Bleeders EP is both a soundtrack and a signpost of everything BVB past, present, and future. The band's inaugural release in a new partnership with Spinefarm boasts the title track, a loving rendition of Sweeney Todd’s "My Friends," and a faithful cover of U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday."

The band states, "As Bleeders, it's our mission to effect positive change. Help us help others in this time of need."

North American gothic metal fans were met with cause for elation last week, when genre-leading outfits BLACK VEIL BRIDES & VV (Ville Valo) announced an epic co-headlining tour for autumn of this year. The announcement has proven to be an omen of what is still to come, as today, Black Veil Brides have released their cover of the Sisters of Mercy classic, “Temple of Love” featuring VV!

Leading with foreboding organs that quickly kick into a dark double time pace, the track tells tales of the perils of love in gothic storms, and bades the listener beware the wrought elegance it weaves. With an ominous tone, “Temple of Love” is the solemn backdrop to which these love metal paragons begin their union and sets the unholy couple off on their upcoming concert tour.

Committed to uncompromising expression, with a foundation in hard rock tradition and rule-breaking iconoclasm, BLACK VEIL BRIDES is a transcendent celebration of life-affirming power and anthemic catharsis. A gothic vision first summoned in a small town by an isolated kid fascinated with death, rock, theatricality, and monsters (both real and imagined), BLACK VEIL BRIDES is now a postmodern heavy metal institution with a legion of like-minded fans and supporters worldwide.

"I first discovered Sisters of Mercy in my freshman year of high school, I had a poster of AFI from the 'Art of Drowning' era and Davey was wearing a SOM shirt and so as was often the case back then I went on the hunt to find the music that had inspired my favorite musicians. The very first song I heard by SOM was the ‘92 version of ‘Temple of Love’ and I became obsessed with their entire catalog. We’ve talked about doing a BVB version of this song for years and when given the opportunity to collaborate with fellow SOM fan and goth rock icon VV, it seems liked the perfect situation. We are thrilled with how it turned out and hope that anyone who’s familiar with the track enjoys our spin on it and those who have never heard the original enjoy it and maybe this will lead them down the path to the greatness that is SOM like that poster of AFI did for me when I was a kid." - Andy Biersack

A darkly romantic icon himself, VV (Ville Valo), frontman for Love Metal pioneers HIM, casts a long and pervasive shadow that is still delightedly out of step with the status quo. VV’s recently released debut solo album, ‘Neon Noir’ belongs to the same forlorn world of woe and whimsy once conceived and governed by Valo in HIM, but with the nuanced notes of a finely aged Cabernet.

Check out the single over HERE.

This fall, the classic season for dark and romantic music, BLACK VEIL BRIDES and VV (VILLE VALO) will co-headline a massive tour in select cities across North America. Presented by Hot Topic, the BVB & VV 2023 Tour (featuring special guests DARK DIVINE) combines three unique bands who champion the heavy-hearted, hopeless, and broken with mixtures of high intensity and melody.

“We cannot wait to join forces with VILLE VALO and give both of our audiences in North America an unforgettable experience each night,” says BLACK VEIL BRIDES frontman Andy Biersack. “This run has been in the works for quite a while. We couldn't be happier now that we can finally share the news. VILLE is an icon. We have all been fans of his, not only for his work in the hugely influential band HIM but as a torchbearer for an entire generation of rock fans and musicians.”

“There's something tinnitus-inducingly romantic about the idea of being sandwiched nightly between BLACK VEIL BRIDES and DARK DIVINE on this autumnal trek across North America,” muses VALO. “And imagining us explore the architecture of doom and gloom from three distinctly different musical perspectives has already made the bats in my belfry suitably ravenous.”

Andy adds, “This tour is a dream come true and will be something special. DARK DIVINE is new to the scene but garnering a lot of attention quickly and rightfully so. They are hands down one of the best young bands out there, and we are certain the BVB Army and VV fans will love them.”

BLACK VEIL BRIDES are “Born Again.” Immediately following the conclusion of the sold-out Trinity Of Terror Tour across America, the band unveils the cinematic clip for “Born Again,” the fourth single from their latest album, The Phantom Tomorrow. Helmed by feature film and music video director Vicente Cordero (Cradle Of Filth, DevilDriver, David Hasselhoff) and produced in collaboration with occult luxury/streetwear masterminds MM Custom Fabrications, the evocative “Born Again” video arrives, appropriately, on Friday the 13th.

“This video was an opportunity to use the more macabre imagery we grew up loving as fans of classic horror movies,” explains Black Veil Brides frontman and founder Andy Biersack. It also offered a chance to further flesh out the immersive world of The Phantom Tomorrow, told in multiple companion mediums, including comic books, action figures, and of course, music videos.

“We show a bit of what goes on in the ‘9th Circle,’ which is the location in our Phantom Tomorrow storyline that exists as a plane of existence outside of reality,” says Andy. “It’s a more esoteric version of a fire-and-brimstone afterlife, but one that is directly attacking your daily life.”

On the heels of their first-ever virtual acoustic radio tour Acoustour and after teasing fans for days on social media, Los Angeles rockers Black Veil Brides have released the full details of their upcoming 6th studio album, The Phantom Tomorrow. The new album is scheduled for release on June 4th via Sumerian Records and is a concept record based on a story idea created by vocalist Andy Biersack. The album is comprised of a dozen tracks and has spawned the current Top 20 Active Rock single “Scarlet Cross.” The cover artwork for The Phantom Tomorrow was created by Eliran Kantor – known for his work with Testament, Hatebreed, Havok and Andy Black to name a few. The Phantom Tomorrow is produced by Erik Ron (Godsmack, Dance Gavin Dance, Bush) and co-produced by guitarist Jake Pitts – is available for pre-order in various bundle configurations here: www.phantomtomorrow.com.

To coincide with the announcement of The Phantom Tomorrow, Black Veil Brides are releasing the next music video from the upcoming album. The video for “Fields Of Bone” marks the directorial debut by vocalist Andy Biersack. Backed by guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton and drummer Christian Coma; the video picks up where the “Scarlet Cross” video (http://smarturl.it/scarletcross)  left off. The main character “The Blackbird” returns to square off against “9,” his adversary depicted throughout the “Fields OF Bone” video. He has been used in the band’s tease posts all week. The video also showcases the new look the band will be utilizing throughout the entire cycle for The Phantom Tomorrow. The video for “Fields Of Bone” can be seen here: https://youtu.be/JR37XyIXqPg

2. Scarlet Cross

5. Spectres (Interlude)

6. Torch

7. The Wicked One

After teasing fans for days on social media, Los Angeles rockers Black Veil Brides are releasing a new single and video for the track “Scarlet Cross.” The song comes from the band’s upcoming 2021 concept album The Phantom Tomorrow – the band’s sixth full-length album. The album tells the story of the antihero character “The Blackbird” and a group of societal outcasts known as simply as “The Phantom Tomorrow.” The first single “Scarlet Cross” – produced by Erik Ron (Godsmack, Dance Gavin Dance, Bush) and guitarist Jake Pitts – is available via all digital partners today.

The video for “Scarlet Cross” was directed by longtime collaborator Patrick Fogarty and based on a concept written by frontman Andy Biersack. The video was filmed on the Santa Clarita Studios backlot and is the first in a series of videos that will follow the story of the main character “The Blackbird.”. The video opens as a female member of “The Phantom Tomorrow” takes to the streets only to be discovered and followed. As things get dire, the “The Blackbird” arrives only to fade to black. Shot to look like an old school comic book serial, the video ends with the cliffhanger tease leaving the viewer unsure of the fate of the heroine or her attackers. The video for “Scarlet Cross” can be seen here: http://smarturl.it/scarletcross.

“We are incredibly excited to share not only this new song ‘Scarlet Cross,’ but also our vision for the world of “The Phantom Tomorrow” and its characters. We are in the final stages of writing for this record and have begun work on our forthcoming “The Phantom Tomorrow” graphic novel. We intend to continue to share elements of the story in the coming months and can’t wait for everyone to see what we have been working on!”

Black Veil Brides are hard at work putting the finishing touches on the upcoming album The Phantom Tomorrow– scheduled for release via Sumerian Records in 2021. More information on the latest musical creation from Andy Biersack, Jake Pitts, Jinxx, Lonny Eagleton and Christian Coma will be available in the near future.

In celebration of two anniversaries, one being the ten years since California locals Black Veil Brides went on tour, in promotion of their debut album “We Stitch These Wounds”, as well as another anniversary celebration of said debut album itself. This causing the band to go even further to do a re-recorded version of the entire debut album, and to celebrate some more, they would go on to do their first ever virtual concert performance. Performing where that promotional tour was held tn years ago, the famous Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, California!

The virtual concert would be held in the afternoon 2PM PST time, streamed live all over the world via the Veeps website, tickets costing only $10, with one other offering costing $50 with the addition of a t-shirt added to the ticket pricing. Whichever method chosen though, the band would go live on the air, a little after 2PM, performing for the first time in it’s entirety their debut album “We Stitch These Wounds”.

Consisting of 12-tracks, all of which were performed from front to back except for one track titled “The Mortician's Daughter”, which was performed live via violin solo. Minus this little mishap, the entire performance ran for a good 50 minutes from start to finish. The venue being emptied as an echo was rung out throughout, you could hear the vocalization and instrumentation rather nicely this way, without the cries and cheers from roaring fans. It made the performance just more gripping and entertaining.

Andy Biersack or known previously during the debut album days as Andy Six, did a superb job providing harmony and vocalizing during said performance. The “screams” sung on the selection of tracks given, sounded fierce yet intense at times, making the band’s newer material sound just a tad disappointing, that he doesn’t supply his vocal screams more often. He is clearly capable of doing so, perhaps on future content, screams will make a come back?

Drumming, bass, and guitar work was done nicely, heavily intense yet visual and loud throughout. Each of the 12-tracks just gave off a very satisfied listening experience. Having Andy acknowledge the audience watching the live cast, thanking them on and off from numerous songs sung. Lighting was done nicely too, making the exposure that more enjoyable to witness really.

All in all though, the band did a nice job, had a good set, with a little throw back that made fans from the start, middle, and end of their career’s as musicians, very well pleased indeed. To those who bought tickets, if the Veep’s page is refreshed you are permitted to re-watch the entire performance, for how long no precise telling yet. But perhaps this live broadcast will receive a DVD release or permanent placement on YouTube or one of BVB’s outlets at another cost or free for all, only time will tell once the veil arises.

SETLIST:

1. The Outcasts (Call To Arms)
2. We Stitch These Wounds
3. Beautiful Remains

6. Knives and Pens
7. The Mortician's Daughter Violin Solo
