Multi-platinum selling recording artist Gavin DeGraw announces today that his highly-anticipated fourth studio album, MAKE A MOVE, is set for release on October 15th via RCA Records.  The album is available for pre-order today on iTunes, Amazon.com and Gavindegraw.com and fans who pre-order the album will receive a free download of a brand new track from the album entitled "Who's Gonna Save Us."  Gavin recently released a video for the album's first single "Best I Ever Had," directed by acclaimed lens man Shane Drake. Recorded mainly in Los Angeles, MAKE A MOVE reunites DeGraw with multi-platinum producer Butch Walker (Fall Out Boy, Taylor Swift, P!nk) and multi-platinum, Grammy award-winning producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote with Gavin the smash double-platinum single "Not Over You," from Gavin's acclaimed 2011 studio release "Sweeter."  Other A-list producers on the album include Busbee (Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk), Martin Johnson (Avril Lavigne, Jason Derulo, Boys Like Girls), Benny Blanco (Bruno Mars, Keith Urban, Maroon 5) and Kevin Rudolf (Justin Timberlake, The Black-Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado).  The album's first single "Best I Ever Had," has already garnered rave reviews and is climbing up thecharts.  In a recent Billboard feature, the song was hailed as "a refreshingly rhythmic return for a singer who benefits from a change of pace."  Other tracks on the album include "Finest Hour," co-written with Ryan Tedder, the compelling and powerful "Everything Will Change," and title track "Make A Move."

There have been a variety of women in rock music, one's that come to mind who were most popular by today's standards would probably be frontwomen Gwen Stefani of old school ska punk act No Doubt and then new comers Paramore with their frontwomen Haley Williams. Well those women aren't the only one's sparking interest, there's a few more within the mix, Los Angeles locals Stitched Up Heart's Mixi and New Year's Day's Ash. So who else is left well it just so happens that Icon For Hire has a frontwomen of their very own, Ariel and they just released their debut full-length “Scripted”.

Since their signing with Tooth and Nail Records the band has gone on to release two videos and two singles "Make A Move", and "Get Well", but aside from those "The Grey", "Off With Her Head" and "Theatre" all have a solid sound that's rather upbeat and catchy. Ariel has some powerful pipes on her and can put Haley Williams to rest. As far as "Scripted" is concerned is it a solid source of sound that each of the instruments has their own role to partake in. The guitar riffs are crisp and clear while the bass lines stay in check and the drumming is flawless from start to finish and Ariel just brings it altogether.

Somebody made a move and no one could have done it any better than Icon For Hire.
