Swedish old school rockers The Gloria Story holds Kiss as one of their main influences. This year marks Kiss 40:th anniversary. It is also the year that Kiss finally got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Gloria Story's song "Live your Life in Shame" is all about "life as a Kiss-fan". It's packed with Kiss-references and is nothing short of an homage to one of the greatest rock-groups of all time. The video - filled with flames, girls, action and a lot of KISSING - is released on the same day as Kiss kicks off their 40:th anniversary-tour together with Def Leppard. June 23. The "Live your Life in Shame-video" is The Gloria Story's way of saying: "Thank you Kiss for the music during 40 years of Rock and Roll, and congratulations on the RARHOF induction".

Note: The Gloria Story didn't want to use the iconic, trademark KISS-makeup in the video, because it would be a little too obvious. Instead the four different girls appearing in the video wears different colour lipstick - each of them representing the theme-colour from the the original four Kiss solo-albums, and each of them representing the classic "Kiss-song girls" aka Christine, Beth, Shandi and Domino.

"Live your life in Shame" is the third single from THE GLORIA STORY's album BORN TO LOSE (2013) - available from Sound Pollution Distribution on CD, Digital and Vinyl-LP. Check out the video HERE.

To pass the time Black Veil Brides went back into the studio to record an EP simply titled "Rebels". It consists of 3-tracks 2 covers and one unreleased track off their latest album "Set The World On Fire" (2011). "Coffin", brings a doom but eerie vibe with a heavy undertone of modern day rock that really expands in the band's skills as musicians. Whilst the other two tracks are covers of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell", and Kiss's "Unholy", each adding its own BVB flare of momentum. For instance frontman Andy Biersack’s screaming abilities really picks up every now and then while adding the addition of infamous guitarist Zakk Wylde on Kiss’s cover makes it more rebellious than ever before. Overall BVB has done it again and will continue to rise up to be one of the most historic bands of our time.

KISS members Paul Stanley (guitar, vocals) and Tommy Thayer (guitar), along with producer Greg Collins, have released a one-minute video message from Collins' studio, The Nook, where they are putting the finishing touches on the band's new CD, "Monster".

"[KISS is] about two days from [being] finished with this album," says Stanley. "It's almost done and it's awesome. It is by far the best thing we've done in I don't know how long. Have I ever said that before? Yeah. Was I right? Yeah. I'm right this time again. . . Truly, the album kicks major ass and we're very, very proud of it." Thayer adds, "You're gonna as as excited as we are, 'cause we're really excited. And we're not just saying that. This is great stuff. It's amazing."

Los Angeles theatrical rockers BLACK VEIL BRIDES have released the second video trailer for their "Rebels" EP, due this Christmas. Check it out below.

In an interview with the Artisan News conducted this past summer, Biersack said that BLACK VEIL BRIDES planned to release an EP before heading into the studio to begin work on its next full-length album. "[It's] just a couple of songs and some stuff that we've been toying around with, some tracks from the last record that didn't make it to the [last] record, kind of revamping some stuff," he said. "We just wanna keep putting out material while our fans are interested and happy."

As for a new album, Biersack said BLACK VEIL BRIDES hoped to begin recording by next April. Guitarist Jinxx added, "We definitely have a whole album worth of material. We're always coming up with ideas and we have [recording gear] in the back of our bus; we'll just put down ideas whenever we can."
