Cetragore was formed in 2019 at South Shore, Massachusetts. Formed from the remnants of local bands In Ash I Reign (Erik and Marco) and Dead By Dawn (Steve and Jonny) with Steve on lead vocals and guitar, Erik on bass and backing vocals, Jonny on drums and Marco on rhythm guitar in 2019, they are reminiscent of bands such as Death, Slayer and Cannibal Corpse with their breakneck grooves, punishing rhythm section and hair raising, guttural vocal assault.

Mixer-uppers LUNAFALL have not one but two single's out there right now, with all new music come the next year! The band talks of their music, and just living in the moment.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Myself (Joel) and Dave have been playing together since we were 14 in various bands through school. We formed Lunafall and needed a permanent drummer, we actually found Darius online and saw some great videos. We met up and asked him to join the band before hearing him play live!

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

We love all things ‘Luna’ and we play at night… so we thought LUNAFALL went quite well.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are based in Birmingham! The music scene is starting to recover now which is great, so we’re hoping for plenty more local shows.

4. How would you describe your style?

I think we blend pop, rock and alternative in pretty equal measures. We try not to focus too hard on trying to make it sound like something, so we just tend to take each song as it comes and kind of put what’s needed.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

This year we have released 2 singles. Save Me and Call It Off. People can expect a lot of energy and melodies.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes! We have another new release coming in the new year, followed by another release shortly after, we’ve got tons of material to get out there!

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Yes. Tour planned for early next year!

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

The plan is to enjoy ourselves and live every moment. The last 2 years have taught us to not take anything for granted. Whether we are popular or not, making music together and playing shows is what makes us happy.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

All our socials are @lunafallband.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

‘That was catchy’.

Soulful pop artist FIRE THE HUMANS had started because of wanting to be a solo artist. With that, a single was released with another single expected soon enough. A lot more is discussed in term's of music and more below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Born & raised just outside of St. Louis, Missouri, I played with a handful of bands and grew up in the local scene. After releasing music like “Hey Runaway” and “Animal” with bands such as thePour, I decided to start my own lifelong dream of embarking on a solo project. A project named “FIRE THE HUMANS”. Ultimately, a tongue n’ cheek reference to how poorly we’re managing ourselves as the human race. Writing stadium-sized hooks, anthem-sized melodies encompassed with true soul and feeling in every word. Partnering with the ever accomplished multiple Grammy Award recipient, .j at The Toybox, to take my vision to new heights. In March of 2021, “VANISH” became the debut release of  “FIRE THE HUMANS”, and so it began! Feedback and praise from coast to coast welcomed this new sound. As “FIRE THE HUMANS” continues to grow in popularity, a follow-up single, ”CAN’T STOP”, is set to be released on November 26th, 2021. “FIRE THE HUMANS” has quickly become one of the best-kept secrets in the music industry, for now.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

As you see the world evolving, it’s clear what a poor job we’re doing as a human race. Extinct animals, pollution, plans to leave this planet, and on and on. The origin of the name is my perspective if beings from far beyond were to

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Based out of St. Louis, Missouri in the United States, our music scene is great. Incredible music comes out of this city. Story of the Year, Nelly, Chuck Berry, Ike and Tina Turner, Chingy, The Urge and many more.

4. How would you describe your style?

Soulful POP with a raspy undertone.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

My first single is called “Vanish”. This dropped in March of 2021 and is currently in rotation across the US. It’s also being shopped to be accepted into movie production. It’s done quite well for being an unknown project with a brand new song.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

My follow-up single, “Can’t Stop”, drops on Friday, November 26th and I believe it will get even better reviews than the first single. I have many more in the pipeline that will drop throughout 2022.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

A tour is definitely in the works as dates, sponsors and cities are being lined up as we speak. More great news to come on that.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

The great thing about Fire the Humans is that it’s not a band, it’s a solo project. This allows me the freedom to pivot quickly and move to a destination of choice much faster. Whether that being, writing, recording, releasing a single, touring, concerts etc. Music no longer carries a boundary. There are no color limits, age limits, gender limits. Nothing. It’s a great feeling to be free to move forward and share this artwork with the world.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Fire the Humans is available on all major music platforms. Spotify, Apple Music, Google Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, pretty much everywhere.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

The music. Simply put, these are fantastic songs.

Japanese band THE LAMB have what they call a "City Pop" sound of style, being influncned by the U.K. music scene from all it's eras of existence really. The band discusses their current content and what they have up next for themselves.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The Lamb are Japanese city pop band. The band consists of Noboru Watanabe (vocals, guitar), Junpei Ogino (bass), Yushi Nakajima (drums), Kyuto Uno (keyboards), and Shinjiro Yamada (saxophone).

Formed in Tokyo in 2019, they have self-released 4  EPs. The song "Plastic Girl" was ranked # 24 at the highest on Spotify's Japanese viral top 50, and has been featured on many official Spotify playlists, including "Best City Pop Songs Of 2020".

In 2021, "Tokyo" has been featured on international music blogs and reaction videos, and is attracting attention from city pop fans in Japan and abroad.  March of the same year, they signed a contract with Luuv Label, a music label in Shanghai, China.  In September, we signed with UK music label, The Animal Farm. In November, we'll release 3 singles which they produced together.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Do you know the Chinese zodiac? When we started the band, the zodiac sign for that year was "sheep". William Blake didn't name it.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Tokyo, Japan. The music we play, "City Pop", attracts more attention from people overseas than from Japanese people. What about the UK, do you know Tatsuro Yamashita?

4. How would you describe your style?

The easiest way to describe it is "City Pop". I'm heavily influenced by UK music from all eras.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We've released four EPs so far. We play a lot more different sounds than most bands do. Each EP sounds different and can be confusing, but we hope you like it.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We'll be releasing three singles on the UK music label The Animal Farm Music, the first being "Atlantis" on November 12.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We live in Japan, so we don't know when we'll be able to come to the UK. Our gigs in Japan are now mainly streaming with no audience. We'd love to go to UK someday, for sure. UK is the place we dream about.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

As per Mr.Leppanen's command.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube...etc. We also have a cute Merch that you can buy on our website.

Punk rock n' rollers PHANTOM OCEAN have been active for a short while, having just released their debut EP this past summer! They already have all new music in the works, including new music videos, and all kinds of music and just art! The band talks of it all below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

We started the band in early 2020, before the COVID pandemic.  We’re both musicians, and we’re married, and it seemed like a pretty natural fit to start jamming together, and thankfully it bore fruit.  Sarah’s on drums, Drew’s on guitar, and we trade off singing.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

The name’s something for folks to ponder.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We’re based in New England.  We’ve got a pretty thriving music scene here; there are so many great local bands I couldn’t even narrow a list down to recommend just a few!

4. How would you describe your style?

Sometimes bluesy, sometimes theatrical, punk rock and roll.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We’ve released our first EP, Secondhand Ghosts, in summer of 2021.  Folks can expect music that’s easy to recognize and hard to define.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We do! We’re always working on new music, we’ve played several new tracks live this year besides what’s on our EP.  We’re planning for a full-length record in 2022, and we have a film score coming out as well.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We do; we play locally around New England right now, and for the future, that’s an open book.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Music and art.  That’s what we do, that’s our future.  Words, music, movies, music videos.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can find our music on Bandcamp.  Some folks have asked when we’re going to be on streaming services like Spotify, and that’s not in the cards.  We believe pretty strongly that Spotify and its ilk are harmful to music, and so we choose not to operate in that space.  http://phantomocean.bandcamp.com

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We’d like someone to come away from hearing Phantom Ocean with songs stuck in their head and a sense of having stepped into someone else’s dream.

Dark act GHASTLY MURDER has been around for sometime now, releasing content in the form of an EP and future album as well! New content is in the works, with lots more in-store, that is all discussed below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Ghastly Murder is a solo project from Gary Emmins/Mr.E  (singer /guitarist/principle songwriter of the Filthy Spectacula). As a solo project this has existed in earnest since May 2021  when I entered the Nest studios in Brighton and started working with members of the band Birdeatsbaby to produce and record the 6 songs that make up my new E.P. ‘The Rise and Demise of Gory Emminence’

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

The name ‘GHASTLY MURDER’ comes from a newspaper headline  printed within the Victorian era  about description of what was to become the Jack the Ripper murders- but as a phrase it screamed out to me that it would make a great band name

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

I live out in the bleak ‘Hinterlands’ that is mid Wales (Aberystwyth area) but I spend my time between there and London. I have on a couple of occasions attempted to turn Ghastly Murder from a solo project into a fully formed band  but pickings are few and far between in Mid Wales for the ‘right’ musicians – so logistically for me it made more sense to me to plough ahead and develop GHASTLY MURDER into a solo project rather than stagnate  and wait until the time is right to form a band around the songs and the ideas.

4. How would you describe your style?

Musically – Dark, with something of the night about it, brash, maybe sinister , but always with melody and hooks. Visually – again I want to do something unique and NEVER be a jeans and t shirt band  . I want the experience of a Ghastly Murder show to be all encompassing on all the senses – not just a music show,  but an event  an experience. – like a haunting nightmare.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

To date –In it’s first encounter I recorded a track under the guise of Mr.E’s Ghastly Murder (The Hearse Song / Hearse song earworm mix) which was released on all digital platforms- it was planned as a one off  but things and situations change.

My latest work in the form of ‘The Rise and Demise of Gory Emminence’  is currently a 6 track E.P. that I will release 1 track per month  digitally  via  at first bandcamp and then all other platforms. I plan to develop the themes of this E.P. into a future concept album describing the world/environment in which the stories in the songs are told – a post apocalyptic world that is scavenging on the carcass of the planet.

With this E.P.  I think the sound of Ghastly Murder has developed, gotten bigger and is more homed in and focused to where I plan to take it musically. It appeals to a wide spectrum of people but I sense its heart is within the gothic with its darkness but it is not gloomy or shoe gaze in style as it is full on attack

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

I am a prolific songwriter and I do have future songs that I would like to record for Ghastly Murder (as well as the filthy spectacula). The plan is to release these 6 songs  then run with it from that point onwards and see what develops….there are plans afoot

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

I have already had a few enquires about playing shows  which puts me in a dilemma  in as much as if I play these as a solo artist- with a guitar and backing tracks ? or find temporary players?  or form a band?….So I am figuring that out at the moment. Needless to say whatever its form it will be themed and thought out visually to enhance the music style with an element of performance and style that is becoming of the music- I like creating worlds for my music for people to enter

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Short term – release the tracks from the E.P. some with accompanying videos. Find my audience, let my audience find me. Develop musically. Write and record more material for an album (or 2 or 3) - leave the studio world and present this on stage – I am a good front man with loads of experience so performing is in my blood. Then, world domination and nothing less!

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

From my bandcamp site:

https://ghastlymurder.bandcamp.com/

and from all usual outlets online- Spotify/Apple/YouTube etc.

And you can keep up with all the news and events on the Facebook page

https://www.facebook.com/MrEsGHASTLYREDRUM.UK

I might look into developing a band page in the future (who knows?). I am also in talks with a couple of record companies at the moment and I will see if anything comes from that but for now I am happy being independent and calling all the shots

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

The Hooks, the melodies, the drama, the power the overall experience and the rush of the heart when they realize ‘at last’ I have found ‘my’ music that speaks to me!- we are waiting, enter if you dare!

LA based Theatrical Metal Band RAVEN BLACK has taken the opening theme of the 1993 TIM BURTON cult classic THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, "This is Halloween," and created a new #1 Allhallows Eve playlist favorite! With a darkly playful lyric video directed by killDevil Films, RAVEN BLACK infuses the DANNY ELFMAN composed anthem with crunchy guitars and explosive, exuberant vocals from the diminutive front-woman.

“Being our favorite all time HALLOWEEN Movie, created by Tim Burton, it was natural for us to want to cover this song. We both love everything Tim Burton and Disney so doing this cover has been an amazing honor! It was extremely fun to sing all the different parts together and give it our Raven Black carnival metal twist. “ - RAVEN BLACK & MUPPET

Nu-metal punks SWITCHBLADE SATURDAYS have a couple of single's with a re-release of their EP expected soon enough. The band talks of their releases, all new music in-store and what's up next. Lead singer, bassist and founding member Zarrie does the talking!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The band originally started is 2010 after the demise of my original band The Albino Spiders ..Albino Spiders had some success Playing with a lot of big artists but I was looking to do something new and more dangerous musicly after a string of incidents with a member of the band ..our first show ever was supporting Ronnie Radke’s new band at the time Falling in Reverse after that show we made life long friends and fans of the band and they have continued to help us out throughout there career. Since the start we hit the scene with 2 objectives 1.kick ass and chew bubblegum and we’re all out of bubble gum the other is for us and our fans to unapologetically to be ourselves and be proud ..there is beauty in the darkness. Following this ideal we have played with and made fans of some of the largest artists in our scene this is where we could name drop but won’t ha ha but almost everyone we have played with has tried to help us out when they could leading to performances at SXSW and various horror conventions.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

The name came from realizing a certain band member of my band at the time had continuedly back stabbed me …I remember I had just got off the phone after the aphony and looked down at a piece of scratch paper I had been doodling on ..I wrote backstabber over and over on the paper and Saturday underlined because that was the day of our next show that I knew was going to be this bands last ..I muttered to my self just another Switchblade Saturday and wrote that down because I liked the ring of it …I have always been obsessed with horror movies and more so Vampires..in a book I was reading which I think was either True Blood or I Vampire but they described Vampires teeth like switchblades …so it was a mix of the two.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

The Band is based out of Des Moines Iowa which since the conception of Slipknot has been rich with various styles of music ..The scene used to be like a reality T.V. show That could have been called band wars ..bands would sabotage each other’s shows and fan base back then but has since changed being more supportive which honestly is because of a club at the time House of Bricks and a legend named Jimmy ..when you played H.O.B that week you got a free steak dinner on Sunday as not only appreciation but to get all the bands to sit down together and hang out ..a huge part of a family vibe we all have minus a few bad eggs is because of Jimmy and H.O.B …as for bands to check out I will say top five diverse would be Agony of Defeat, Mint  , Holy White Hounds, Green Death and Dogs of Neptune. Also the band Widow7 has been making some waves since they won a competition for Space Zebra Podcast.

4. How would you describe your style?

We are a mix of NuMetal and Punk with dark pop sensibilities. We had a fan once describe us as Vampire Rock ..she said it’s because we are heavy and dark but seductive that leaves the listener hypnotized. I agreed to all that ha ha.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

So at the moment we have released “Some Things “which was our first single, a cover and tribute to Tim Burton “This is Halloween “ and now our current hope to say hit single “Go from Here” we are planning to rerelease our Ep here very shortly called “Possession : The Story of Truth and Vengeance part 1.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We definitely have surprises coming in the near future and one with a possible guest vocalist

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We plan on playing shows throughout the Midwest with plans for Touring 2022 ..oddly enough tonight we are playing with Vampires Everywhere supporting there Awakening Tour

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Honestly with the creative minds behind this band the sky is the limit…

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

We are on all the major downloadable sites right now ..ITunes,Spotify Amazon and so on ..as for merch our website is key ..we like to do exclusive released limited edition merch on the site that we only have so many of or for a limited time ..those are always fun

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Two things ..First is that music is great therapy and the second is  they want more.
