We all have some kind of suffering in silence. We are never alone in it but we sometimes choose to keep it hidden.

American Modern Heavy Metal band A Stāte øf Mīnd released his new single "Dead". The release was recorded at "Global Destruction Studios" by Danny Hardt, and mixed/mastered by J.P. Braddock. This track is a part of the upcoming 6 track EP Titled "Sanity Of Madness" to be released in March of 2025 on "Self Made Records LLC", "Earache Records" will do digital distribution and "GlobMetal Promotions" will do the promo campaign.

A Stāte øf Mīnd was formed in 1994 in Texas, USA when four friends united with a shared passion for music. On the very first day of their practice, they composed their inaugural original track, "Wardance," setting the stage for their creative journey. Drawing inspiration from legendary figures in hard rock and metal, such as Dio, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Queensryche, the band chose the name State of Mind to encapsulate the essence of music as a reflection of emotional states and experiences.

Kat Von D has released her haunting and infectious new music video and single for “Dead” online. The music video conjures an iconic “Jane Fonda” 80’s workout energy and injects Kat’s unique flavor, high fashion, and gothic fervor, making the clip fun and absolutely unforgettable. On the heels of her late 2023 single “Vampire Love,” “Dead” continues to push Kat Von D back into the musical spotlight. Kat has been busy in the studio wrapping up production on multiple new singles, leading to an album release later this year. The music video for “Dead” (directed by Ryan Valdez) is up today on YouTube and was directed by Ryan Valdez (Rise Against, Korn, Stone Sour).

Kat Von D’s brand of disco goth leans heavily into her longtime influences, including synthwave, goth, new wave, post-punk, and other iconic electronic sounds of the 80s. “Dead” and the recent single “Vampire Love” are her first two song releases since 2021. Famed horror director Ryan Valdez directed the music video in Los Angeles, which was heavily inspired by classic Jane Fonda workouts from the 80’s. After The Burial's founding member and guitarist Justin Lowe was found dead. The body of the 32-year-old was discovered by a hiker on July 21st near the St. Croix River in Minnesota. Lowe reportedly posted a lengthy Facebook message about his decision to leave the group back in June. Soon after, the band’s official Facebook page shared a note, writing, “This is a very sad and hurtful situation for us to grasp, and unfortunately it is one we still don't fully understand. Our dear friend, our brother onstage and off, has fallen into a very broken state of mind. A state that, despite our continued efforts, we have been powerless to get him out of.”

The group’s site also noted that Lowe had been missing before, writing on June 25, “We are very sorry we haven't made a statement until now, but there is reasoning behind our decision. Early yesterday after he made the post, he went missing for the entire day. He was in minimal contact with only a few people over the phone, and the information we gathered from them gave us reason to believe he was unsafe in his current state of mind.”

Lowe’s fellow bandmates went on to indicate that Lowe was seemingly suffering from a mental health disorder. “Justin is ill, and right now he needs more than ever to be shown that the world is not against him,” they wrote. “He needs support and love from everyone, and to know that we only want what's best for him. We will continue to support him and his family as best we can through this tough time.”

Authorities believe Lowe’s injuries are consistent with a fall. No cause of death has been released.

Taking several releases and combing them into one is always a good idea for the guys in Dead. Who took their two EPs to create this fourth release entitled "Transmissions and Verse". It takes 7-tracks sound so much alike bringing a mixture of noise that takes the industrial effect with added gloomy gothic-ness to it, creating this style that stands out. Like tracks "Revelation", "Loser", and "My friend", take these methods allowing the music, instruments, and brief vocal chords to work together creating this in-depth force of tunes with its music. It's pretty much like dancing music except with less typical style and a more underground formula. If your into the likes of Bauhaus, Joy Division, or Depeche Mode styles of music then these guys are your air source for tuning in.

Tyson Curtis Stevens, the frontman of now-defunct post-hardcore outfit Scary Kids Scaring Kids and consequent outfit Coma Prevail, has been found dead at the age of 29.

Alternative Press originally broke the news, citing anonymous sources who told the outlet Stevens' body had been found by his girlfriend, Sabrina Amber, on Tuesday morning (US time). This has now been confirmed in light of her heartfelt in-memoriam post to Stevens' Facebook wall today (AEST) — the first official verification of the singer's passing following a growing response on social media to AP's original news from fans, friends and peers.

Stevens' new band, Coma Prevail, have also confirmed the news on Facebook, saying simply, "Unfortunately the rumours are true," and indicating further details would follow once the family has had sufficient time to grieve.

There are no details yet as to the circumstances surrounding Stevens' death, other than that he appears to have passed in his sleep. The singer had celebrated his 29th birthday on September 29.
