In addition to the main title track “For Justice,” the EP includes three remixes, one of which is a remix by Counterstrike. Zardonic adds, “‘For Justice’ is a track that defies genres, and that's why we chose it as the first single. It's a DJ friendly electro track, perfectly suitable for any dance floor, but it also has the strength and musical richness of Metal.”

TRACKLISTING:

1. For Justice (Original Mix)
2. For Justice (Extended Vocal Mix)
3. For Justice (Extended Instrumental Mix)
4. For Justice (Counterstrike Remix)

New Years Day have announced a new EP is due out via Grey Area Records on November 18th. For a first glimpse into what it will sound like they have released a new song and video for their song "Other Side", and had this to say about the new tunes;

"We've taken what we have experienced in the past year and a half and poured it all into these new songs,” explains vocalist Ash Costello. “We have had such an incredible year but at the same time, dealt with many hardships as we discovered who our real friends were and real enemies. The people who love you for you, and the people who are never satisfied with anything you do. It’s something we know everyone can relate to it on their own level. The world can infect us with its negativity, and it’s ok to struggle with it. That’s truly what Epidemic is about. Owning the diseased parts of us and turning it into a strength."

TRACKLISTING:

1. The Joker
2. Other Side
3. Defame Me
4. Epidemic
5. Let Me Down

Famined Records is excited to announce their newest signing, Ceiling Of Anvers from Turin, Italy. Along with the signing announcement, this four piece metal outfit has released a brand new single, titled “L.I.F.E.” off their upcoming debut EP “We All Live In Balance” which drops on August 26th.

Stream the new single, “L.I.F.E.” HERE.

"Ceiling Of Anvers is a project born in late 2012 as a metal/hardcore band with Djent influences. In 2013 COA released their first single "The Oracle" recorded, mixed and mastered by Andrea Fusini at Fusix Studio.

A year later, in the same studio, they recorded their first EP, titled "We All Live In Balance." The EP consists of five tracks, which suffer the strong influence of the two main composers; Emanuele and Simone, who come from two different compositional tastes, but they can compensate each other, giving rise to this mix of metal/ hardcore with low tunings and sick breakdowns with Djent influences.

The EP talks about the continuous agonizing search of the man, as a natural person, of a physical location between earth and subconscious. Fearing the authority and the control searching the reason to overcome the artificial lights which imprison the senses and emotional states.”

TRACKLISTING:

1. The Throne And The Temple (Feat Giovanni from My Aim To Farewell)
2. Order Control
3. The Oracle
4. Circles (instrumental)
5. L.I.F.E. (Feat Nicolò from Damned Spring Fragrantia)

The female-fronted hard rock band Mongrel has inked a deal with independent record label Unable Records, based in southern New Jersey, for the release of Mongrel’s “Evolution” EP in June.

For Mongrel, noted as the hardest working band in Boston by Metal Edge Magazine, this signing represents the next logical step on their path forward.  Since the addition of lead singer Jessica Sierra, Mongrel has been an unstoppable force, taking the bars and hard rock venues of the eastern U.S. by storm.  Show after show, release after release, Mongrel has consistently proven that they are among the best bands active in the scene today.  Dan Nelson, formerly of Anthrax, has said, “Mongrel is more than punk, more than metal, they tread the line somewhere in between; a rare musical hybrid that brings the listener into their dangerous and heavy world, then keeps them there with beautiful and unapologetic force”.

A professional and dedicated band that has already put out amazing records to wide critical acclaim, Mongrel and Unable Records are poised to raise the bar yet again with the June release of the five-song EP entitled “Evolution”.  Aptly named, this latest effort by Mongrel was recorded by Jim Foster (POD, Nullset, Sully Erna) and mixed by Dave Fortman (Slipknot, Evanescence, Godsmack).  Famed engineer Howie Weinberg, who has worked with bands like Metallica, Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Pantera, mastered “Evolution”, bringing huge production value to the outstanding song writing and musicianship that has made Mongrel fan-favorites everywhere they go.

The partnership between Mongrel and Unable Records is a natural fit.  Voted the Best Punk Band of 2014 by Pulse Magazine, Mongrel will be right at home on the Unable Records roster.  Previous projects by these punk rock specialists include releases from The Bastard Suns, No Fuego, Murder Majesty, and Ransom Price.

“Evolution” will be available exclusively through iTunes beginning May 20th, and will be released through all major online retailers and streaming services on June 3rd.  Physical copies will be available in select U.S. stores as well as through Unable Records, Amazon, and Mongrel directly.  Radio promotional support for “Evolution” will be provided by SP Unlimited, with general promotion and public relations provided by Unable Records.  “This band will bring a smile to your face and have your first pumping from beginning to end.  They don’t make records like this anymore”  -  Pivotal Rage Webzine.  Let the fist pumping begin.

Check out the single for snakes HERE.

The Money Brothers formerly of Escape The Fate went their separate ways to format another project titled after themselves the Money Brother$. They went ahead and released the first song "Break Free" and now have released their second song called "Clarity (Behind The Curtain)" which can be heard throughout the introduction interview segment in this video interview HERE. Both these tracks and others will be included on their upcoming debut EP due out soon along with relentlessly touring to follow!

Alesana, who are celebrating 10 years as a unit, are starting off 2014 with a major bang, revealing two key pieces of exciting news and a major tour on the horizon.

The band has signed on with Artery Recordings to release The Decade EP on April 1, 2014.

Alesana will also embark on "The Decade Tour," which will canvas the U.S. from March 7 through April 6, hitting SxSW, South by So What and Never Say Never Festival.

For this not-to-be-missed tour, presented by Artery and Revival Recordings, Alesana will be joined by Get Scared, Hearts & Hands, Farewell My Love and Megosh. The bands will be laying waste to venues, one song and one gig at a time.

While some bands barely make it to five years, much less 10, Alesana are still going strong a decade deep into their career. With a new label and a renewed energy, the band is ready for a high-impact 2014.

Frontman Shawn Milke checked in about the flurry of exciting activity and momentum surrounding Alesana, explaining the impetus for The Decade EP and sharing a few hints about what's in store for the future, namely regarding the band's trilogy.

"Hello everyone! As many of you know we are planning on completing our trilogy very soon, but until then, we figured why wait to put out new music? We are proud to announce that we will be releasing an EP through our good friends at Artery Recordings entitled The Decade EP. In honor of Alesana having been a band for 10 years, we decided it was time to take a small break from our storytelling and write some songs about us and our experiences together as a band for the last decade: the good, the bad, the ugly, and the insane. For those of you curious about Annabel, have no fear, she will be back. But for now, let's just crank some good old fashioned rock and f---ing roll! "

Leave it to Alesana bring the good, old-fashion rock and f---king roll and to deliver an EP that encapsulates the past 10 years of existence.

These songs are tracks that we recorded prior to “What Doesn't Kill Us" and we've been saving them for a rainy day.”  Vocalist James Clark added, “The heart of the lyrics are about still having hope when the world seems against you. It's about seeing the big picture and understanding that you can't change the hand you have been dealt but you can make choices to change your outcome. No matter how difficult or hard some things seem, choose to change your own ending. It’s your story and you are the writer.”

Rhode Island's THY WILL BE DONE recently completed work on a brand new EP that is slated for release later this summer. The band, renowned for their DIY approach, engineered the EP themselves and teamed up once again with acclaimed metal producer Zeuss to mix their six brand new studio tracks. With influences and roots that harkens the listener back to metal's glory days, and songs and arrangements that echo the voice of the oppressed and broken, the end result is a release that brings hope and far surpasses its predecessors, and in all aspects possesses the capabilities of cementing THY WILL BE DONE's position in the metal world. More details, including title and release date will be revealed in the coming weeks.  Check out a video preview for the EP HERE.

Frontman J. Costa spoke about the new song "You, The Apathy Divine":

"The song, 'You, The Apathy Divine' occurs in what is the proverbial middle of the EP and is a pivotal point of the recording with its own musical and lyrical intermezzo. For me, its timbre exudes the anguish and despair of someone dealing with infidelity after having just lost multiple relatives. That's what happened in my life and I needed to express it."

Listen to the new track by going to Revolver Magazine's website HERE.

Avenger Of Blood is a thrash metal act from Las Vegas, Nevada who also got their start in 2001 and went on to releases two full-lengths "Complete Annihilation" (2005) and "Death Brigade" (2008) along with two demos, vinyl, and was featured in a complication album. After a few line-up changes and touring routes the band faded away not to be heard from again until NOW!

The band recently posted an assortment of updates via the band's Facebook page,

"Giving another update and this time its a decent size one for you! As we stated last week, we finally enter Constantine Studios to record some new songs on May 26th. We are titling this 3 song EP 'Spawn of Evil' and so far we are very happy with the songs! The songs we will be recording are titled "Spawn of Evil", "Aggressive Psychotic Behavior" and "Centuries of Hell"! We are also going to be recording a video. Not sure which song it will be for yet, but the band has never had an official video ever, so this is something we are excited about! We got our artork in the works for some shirts and a possible cover. We are getting shirts and a few merchandise items for sure but that will be sometime in mid-late June. The art is being done up by Mark Riddick of Riddickart who is an amazing artist known for his work with Gravehill, Coffins, Crucified Mortals, Cemetary Urn, Morbid Angel, and more! We have been talking about getting back out to play live and looking at booking our 1st show back with the new line-up towards the end of August. Nothing is set in stone yet, its just in the planning stages."

So expect new shows, a new line-up, and ALL NEW MUSIC coming soon!
