Hip hop up and comer Grisly BK has brought the past into the present with his unique style of sound. He takes his music by mixing it up to create content based material that is a blast from the past, literally the sound of yesterday, just as noted prior of his work's being in the past but in the present.

Whilst his music may be a sound of the yester-year he has gone on to release some singles, including one titled "Since Day One" and another titled "Pull Up". His embracive emotions toeards his music is purely aggressive, yet toned remarkable well, that such talent is one that has not been heard before.

That said, Grisly BK will take these singles, going forward with putting together a full-length album or EP release of sorts, collecting his music, where his tracks will fit together into a certain situation where everything is cataloged together into a wholesome trek of well rounded works of art and raw talent.

Grisly BK will take on the hop hop scene with his material surely hands down, giving all those a glimpse into his past creations brought into the present, having old fashion being new again, except twisted as well. Check out those singles right HERE.

Today not only marks the 13th anniversary of North Carolina based rock/sweetcore band and Revival Recordings artist Alesana, but will also serve as the announcement day for one of their biggest undertakings to date. The project, called Origins, is currently rooted as much in mystery as it is in magnitude for any hardcore fan of the band. Alesana wants fans to know that Origins is a labor of love, created and compiled entirely by their hands, and their hands alone. Vocalist Shawn Milke says of the endeavor:

“Origins is a project that has been years in the making. I always imagined giving everything we possibly could to our amazing fans, both figuratively and literally. Origins is exactly that. This was forged by our own hands, every single aspect of it. It is an experience like no other we have conceived and any questions you may have regarding it's contents will be answered in the coming days and weeks. This is our story, our history, our future, our now. Find the key, unlock the history. This is Origins."

While very few details have been released thus far, fans are encouraged to keep a close eye on Alesana’s social media pages in the coming days to discover what is going to be included with Origins. This limited edition collection will be available to purchase via the Revival Recordings website this Black Friday.

Instrumental solo artist Valentin The Mad releases a new track from his "Deadly Obsession", solo project. "Losing the Sense of Time", is a rock instrumental with a big emphasis on guitar solos and some Spanish music inspirations.

On the concept and the creation of the track: "In 2013 I made a backing track using some of the earliest ideas I ever wrote. A few months later, jamming on that backing track became a part of my warm up routine and what ended up happening quite often, is that I was jamming and experimenting with ideas for hours on end, forgetting whatever I was supposed to work on that day. That feeling of losing the sense of time in joy became the theme of the track."

Raleigh-based rock band Alesana have released a video announcing a new project and are seeking fan involvement. The video, which features Alesana vocalist Shawn Milke, doesn’t reveal all the details about the new forthcoming project but asks fans to send a thirty second clip of themselves doing something creative and having a positive message. In the same vein of Alesana's mantra, "PMA", he also adds for fans to send a photo, along with their video, of them holding up a sign with the words, “I say farewell to giving up,” in their native language.

About the project, Shawn said, “This new project we are embarking on is very dear to us. We want to show our fans how much they mean to us in a unique and special way. These last 13 years of getting to be Alesana would not be possible without the love, support, and positivity of our amazing army. Alesana is not just the six of us in the band; it is all of you as well. Hopefully when this project is done, we will have been able to show you at least a small bit of gratitude for how appreciative and thankful we are for your passion and loyalty."

To be involved, fans are asked to either upload their video to their YouTube channel unlisted or to their google drive and send the link to info@revivalrecs.com. Six Feet Under founding throat/death metal icon, Chris Barnes, is pleased to bring fans his latest work of sonic deviance in the form of the fittingly christened, IHATE. A venture inadvertently launched between Barnes and multi-instrumentalist/fellow horror enthusiast Bob Taggett, their as-yet-untitled debut promises to deliver eight violent tracks of raw, unrepentant, death metal brutality and lyrical depravity.

Relays Barnes of the project's formation, "Early last year I got a message via Facebook from someone named Bob and Bob said to me, as a lot of people do, 'I have some songs and I'd like you to sing on them. Can I send you a song so you could check it out?' I get a lot of these requests and didn't think too much of it, but since I was just fresh back from a tour and a little bored, I decided to entertain the idea of listening to a song from Bob. After receiving an email with the first track that was attached to a video which more or less mapped out a murder storyline, I thought it was really different, and definitely creepy visually. And there was something very primitive and energetic to the attack of the music. It was very driven. I could feel it instantly. I knew this wasn't a joke and wasn't done half-assed. The music I was listening to was aggressive as a knife carving chunks of flesh off a body. Putting the music to a video caught my attention, immediately, as to Bob's focus. I found it all really interesting. I have almost always worked from a storyline in my head for my lyrical inspiration and my own imagination, but never have started from the standpoint of lyrically scoring a storyline already laid out on video first, like scoring a film. That seemed really exciting to me as a writer as well as a vocalist. I emailed Bob back and told him I would love to be involved with making this album with him. So one thing led to another and we began writing and recording. We are very close to finishing the album and have enlisted the good people at Pledge Music to help us reach out to all of the fans who we hope will help us make this album a reality."

As for what true death metal miscreants can expect from the IHATE end product? "To me, it really is a masterpiece of brutal, violent death metal," says Barnes, "I'm really stoked that if got to work on this album. The fans know that I'm no stranger to writing some sick lyrics, but the stuff I have come up with this time is entirely over-the-top even by my standards. I really want the fans to hear this album and dig into the storylines of the songs. This is the first time I've used crowd-funding to make and release an album. And it's been a very challenging, interesting learning experience along the way. And an eye-opener as well. We are really hoping the fans of death metal will make a pledge and preorder our new album. It's really important to us that this album gets released. This is brutal as fuck."
