Metalcore vamp rock band Vampires Everywhere has had it's ups and down's countless times. Releasing an array of works, ranging from EP's, albums, and singles. This recent comeback would make this stake in the coffin stick! Frontman vocalist Michael Vampire himself, talks to me after 15 years since our very first and last talk back in 2010! Victory Records is proud to announce the signing of Los Angeles rock outfit DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY. Ring leader and frontman Michael Orlando sheds his skin for the first time since the demise of his former outfits, Vampires Everywhere and The Killing Lights, with the debut song and video “I'll Find A Way.” Seen through the eyes of an irredeemable soul, the video provokes an underlying acknowledgment about the obligation of revenge and the division of ones self. This winter will see the inauguration of rock's newest institution, DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY.

“I am excited to announce my band DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY has signed to Victory Records! They are responsible for some of my favorite bands and I'm beyond stoked to be part of the family.” Looking into the future, Orlando adds, “There is so much excitement and positivity exploding from the staff at Victory, and I feel very lucky to have this team behind me. This union came about organically and I love that we all want to push the boundaries to make DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY a success. I'm beyond excited for the road ahead and to show the world DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY.”

With its all-too-real violence and expose of human frailty, Orlando expands on the track, “When Ronnie (Radke, Falling In Reverse) and I sat down to write ‘I’ll Find A Way,’ we were pretty adamant on stating truths. We wanted lyrics that would hit home and tell this story about conquering your inner demons. The voices in your head are pushing one way, and your heart is pushing the other - riding the line between right and wrong. I'm hoping this story, this song will give hope. The cure to happiness is inside us and we must not give up without a fight.”

In 2016, when the curtains closed on his former band Vampires Everywhere, prior that 2015 saw the end of The Killing Lights, Orlando sought out other avenues for his new musical vision. “I’ve had this name on the tip of my tongue for a few years,” admits Orlando,” and I’ve always been on the darker side of things in rock & roll. This name fits the sound and overall image of DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY. Split personalities, fake friends, hangers-on, social-climbing and attention-hunting whores are all ingredients I wanted to exploit with this project. I called together Ronnie and our friend Elvis Baskette (Slash, Sevendust) and we started arranging songs and melodies. Living in Hollywood, there are so many fucked up things I’ve seen, the stories in my head, I could write six novels about them all. But that’s what breeds the creative juice and you will believe me once you hear DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY.”

DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY wasted no time and began 2017 by supporting The End Is Here Tour, featuring Falling In Reverse, Motionless In White and Issues. The band quickly caught the attention of Victory Records and was signed in mere days. With their kinetic energy and momentum in overdrive, DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY is ready to let the world know they are here.

Vampires Everywhere! formed in 2009, releasing an EP "Lost in the Shaodws" (2010) as well as two full-length albums "Kiss the Sun Goodbye" (2011) and "Hellbound and Heartless" (2012). Doing countless touring and playing shows the band disbanded in 2013. Some time went bye and so did the band to reform in 2015 going on to release a third full-length album "Ritual" (2016).

After reforming playing a number of shows and a tour the band would again disband in the fall of 2016. Frontman vocalist Michael Vampire posted the following message upon his Twitter and Facebook page saying "Vampires Everywhere has disbanded.It was a great 6 yrs!I had a great time meeting all of u! Follow my new band on instagram DeadGirlsAcademy".

Dead Girls Academy is the new project formed by the frontman Michael Vampire. RIP's to previous projects by Michael Vampire, Vampires Everywhere! (2016), The Killing Lights (2014).

Vampires Everywhere formed in 2009 and things for them kicked off right away! They went on to play shows, tour, and releasing two full-length albums "Kiss the Sun Goodbye" (2011) and "Hellbound and Heartless" (2012). Then the band kept having changes in the mists causing the band to go on a hiatus, as frontman vocalist Michael Vampire went on to create a whole another project known as The Killing Lights. Now that the Vampires Everywhere have returned so has all new music with a teaser trailer, exposing a couple of the new songs offered on the new release expect sometime in 2016! Go check it out HERE.

Michael Orlando or known as Michael Vampire, brought Vampires Everywhere! to a close to pursue a whole another project he called The Killing Lights. The former Vampires Everywhere! Facebook page had it's name changed to The Killing Lights, where the band then pursued to write and record their Self-Titled EP debut, as well as played a few showcases here and there. Through all of that, including release not one but two music videos for "Lies Spread Like Fire" and "Until I Bleed". Things began to die down for the band, not making many posts upon social media until recently.

Michael Vampire's social media updated itself with photos of Vampires Everywhere! and mentions to where the name came from, the 1987 film The Lost Boys, among other expressions including lines from the film and the band's lyrical context. But what does it all mean? The band did release an EP "Lost In Shadows" and two full-lengths "Kiss The Sun Goodbye" and "Hellbound and Heartless", more tunes and shows of their revival is on the way perhaps?

Well only time will tell for sure! Be on the look out for more to be announced soon!

Vampires Everywhere got their jump start in 2009 with their 2010 EP "Lost In The Shadows" then later release two full-length albums back to back 2011's "Kiss the Sun Goodbye" and 2012's "Hellbound and Heartless". The tour took off since playing various festivals, tours, just getting word out about themselves as much as possible. Then line-up changes began happening left and right which would lead to them even changing their name from Vampires Everywhere to The Killing Lights. On November 10, 2013 frontman Michael Vampire posted the following message on the Facebook stating the changing of the band's name and future plans;

"I would like to personally welcome you to the new chapter in my life "The Killing Lights". As most of you know I was involved in a near fatal car accident many years back. I feel the name The Killing Lights properly represents my struggle with this tragic event & the new chapter in my music career. We will be entering the studio in 2014 to record our debut record on Century Media Records. CMR has been amazing with this transition & their positive energy towards the change has been awesome. We will be doing a UK Tour in Feb. to give a glimpse of what's to come. I have so much respect for my loyal VE fans over the years that have fought with us & stuck by us on every turn. I cannot wait for you to hear the new TKL music & see us live. Check back on Monday to hear a new demo. I love all of you & I'm excited for this next chapter in my life!

Frontman Michael Vampire of Vampires Everywhere! has broken his silence in regards to this hatred being discussed about some leaked demos flying around the net, he posted on his personal blog the following statement:

"Hi

This post is in regards to the BS you are reading & listening to on the internet! About 2 years ago before Kiss The Sun Goodbye was even a thought .. I had a “friend” haha if that’s what you call him.. help record early pre pro demos in our old lockout/storage room in N. Hollywood. We were fucking around with different melodies of which I’ve never sang before. We had to get 16 (give or take ) demos done within 3 hours so we could mix them & show the label rough ideas of what we were trying to achieve. So i sang & laid down these tracks as fast as i could singing each one for the first time.. this is called DEMO PRE PRO. This means these aren’t even the pre production demos for the record just an idea CD gathered before we entered real pre production with our real producer Fred for Kiss The Sun Goodbye. The tracks you are hearing online are 1st takes on DEMO PRE PRO, meaning useless material used for melody ideas in the rawest form possible, not to mention possibly manipulated!

Now that being said living in Hollywood Ca could be described as a Rat Race.. people stepping on other people to gain relevance. As you know i am hated.. a Lot ..for many different reasons, some of which i have no idea where they came from. I am different & yes i wear make up, sue me! Anyways my so called friend that helped us record on garage band or whatever he used.. teamed up with my haters in Hollywood & attempted to pass of BS demos as my real voice! Now not to sound condescending but if you believe those were real tracks off our main record your retarded!! Not to mention 70% of our record was Hardcore vocals & songs like “Undead Heart” “Call Out The Dead” “Heart for a HeartLess” “Ashes to Ashes” ” Teenage Dream” to name a few USE NO AUTOTUNE! What do you think ole ass Ronnie Radke came in & sang my tracks? That would be NO! The tracks that have the effect of Autotune were meant to have it! I was heavily into dance/trance type shit & wanted that effect!

Now if your still going to be ignorant and believe everything you hear on the internet ( TMZ ) COME TO A LIVE SHOW! Not just because I would love haters to pay to see me ;] but because I’ll sing right to your face! haha.. Now most people would be bashing the people that tried to pass this off as my real voice ya know my singing voice LOL ..i chose to keep them NAMELESS ..not much of a change for them! OUR UPCOMING RECORD WILL BE USING NO AUTOTUNE OR HARDTUNE FX!! THATS RIGHT.. HATERS BEWARE & THIS NEW RECORD DROPS THIS YEAR BEFORE WARPED TOUR! So this means Haters can kiss my fucking ass! I am here to stay.. I Love my fans, friends, band, management, & label. The only reason I’m even writing this is to clear any misunderstanding with the people that count ..our fans! If you don’t like that take some Autotune spread it on your lips & suck my big dick! ~ MICHAEL VAMPIRE"

Vampires Ecerywhere! frontman Michael Vampire released his statement in regards to his absence from the band and current touring line-up. It looks like he's been in the hosptial due to a serious infection. Vampire says "Hello Evil Ones, I am writing to update all of you on my current situation regarding tour & my health. I have been in the hospital for over a week. During the Death Race Tour, I noticed my arm was swollen which progressed throughout the tour. The day of our Atlanta show, I was feeling horrible and asked the band to drive me to the hospital, which I thought was going to be an in and out experience. It turns out my arm was infected badly & needed immediate surgery. Thus VE! had no choice but to cancel tour dates until i was fully recovered. I am being released from the hospitaL this week and I am feeling much better! We will catch up with the Death Race Tour in Denver at the Marquee Theatre, which I am very excited for! I appreciate all your support during this horrible experience. I will never forget your evil love! See you all on the last leg of The Death Race Tour and our upcoming 'Horror Nights 2011' tour with Aiden, Eyes Set To Kill, Dr. Acula and Get Scared!" You can find the band on the remaining tour dates of The Death Race Tour and then see them on tour all summer with The Horror Nights Tour.
