After dominating 2025 with their explosive new album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me (named one of the best of the year by Kerrang, Metal Hammer and Loudwire), Lorna Shore is ready to do it all over again in 2026 with a massive global tour that kicks off January 23 in Germany and heads into the spring with newly announced dates just added for North America.

Lorna Shore will be joined by Paleface Swiss and Signs Of The Swarm for the North American run, which begins April 17 in Buffalo, NY and runs through May 22 in Montclair, NJ, alongside festival appearances at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival. Says frontman Will Ramos of the song, “'In Darkness' is about growing up feeling distant from everyone, a song about anxiety and being an outcast (as many of us metal fans grow from). Lorna Shore’s first new album in three years, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, is out today via Century Media Records, alongside a highly emotional new music video for “Glenwood.” It visually captures the song’s overarching narrative: Vocalist/lyricist Will Ramos’ personal journey to reconnect with his estranged father. Ramos says of the new track, “This song has been a very long-time coming for me. In my teens, my father and I never had a great relationship. We’ve had countless fallouts and it got to the point where we hadn’t spoken to each other in many, many years. I’d written songs in my teens and early 20s about him and my frustration but nothing really helped fill the hole I felt inside. There were just too many mixed emotions. As time went on, I came to realize that, despite my anger, all I ever really wanted was to go back to the home I grew up in. For that reason, I decided to knock on his door and try one more time to get in touch with him.”
 
He adds, “‘Glenwood Ave’ was the name of the street I grew up on. I remember my father always telling me, ‘I’m the tree, you’re the branch.’ The day I saw my father (for the first time in who knows how long), I quickly realized something. He wasn't the same person I remembered. He’d aged, had wrinkles, and a full-head of white hair. The tree that I remembered growing up next to was gone. The house inside was the same as I remembered but… older… dustier; and it felt… strange. As time seems to fly by for me, it also does for my father. And in all my parting, I never stopped to think about how much time actually went by. I spent my youth being so prideful and stubborn. I never even considered that as I was aging, so was he. I’ve had countless chances to fix things but wasn’t brave enough to actually do it. And now, I will never be able to get that time back. I wanted to capture that feeling when I wrote this song. My only hope is that when people hear ‘Glenwood,’ they can think about their own lives and the people they’ve pushed away and ask themselves: ‘Is it really worth being upset for this long?’ I believe all we really want is to go back to that special place – a place where nostalgia triumphs over trauma; a place that we can call home.”
 
“Glenwood” follows the release of “Oblivion,” “Unbreakable” and “Prison Of Flesh” from I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me. As Lorna Shore’s fifth album and the first in three years since 2022’s explosive Pain Remains, it continues the band’s reputation as one of the most impressive extreme metal acts to emerge in recent memory.
 
The quintet, also including lead guitarist Adam De Micco, drummer Austin Archey, rhythm guitarist Andrew O'Connor and bassist Michael Yager, have hit the viral Spotify charts, racked up hundreds of millions of streams, embarked on highly successful tours and in the process, galvanized a significant fanbase that hangs onto the band’s quest for stylistic inversion. But by virtue of physical onslaught and wanting to divine truth from their music, Lorna Shore have kept themselves fired up by torching the metal rulebook at every turn, practically demanding that other genres step up their game.

Lorna Shore’s latest single “Prison Of Flesh” (out today) is one of the metal band’s heaviest to date, fueled by vocalist/lyricist Will Ramos’ raw feelings about his family’s history with dementia and the toll it takes on the person and those around them.
 
Says Ramos of the deeply personal new track, “This song is exactly what I imagine a lot of people expected of us to put out. We took all the heaviest stuff we had to create this incredibly dark, high-stress/tension song. I personally think the breakdown at the end of this is one of my favorites that we’ve ever written and I’m excited to see how people engage with this one.”
 
Ramos adds, “The lyrics for this song are about my family and our history of dementia. The idea that the world is falling apart, and about the fear of losing touch with reality. ‘They’re coming to get me’ is my way of personifying ‘demons’ or something that makes you feel like you’re losing pieces of yourself. The closer they get, the further detached you become until you’re nothing but a husk of fear and delusion.”

After a mysterious billboard appeared on the New Jersey Turnpike in the band’s hometown, Lorna Shore today confirms that their new album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me is set for release on September 12 via Century Media Records.

Says vocalist Will Ramos of the track, “Writing this song felt like the culmination of all the things that we’ve done in the past, but brought to the next level; a more evolved version of what Lorna Shore truly is.” He adds, “I imagined a post-apocalyptic world in the (hopefully distant) future. A world where we have sown the seeds of our own destruction. The idea that we wished for better, hoped we were doing something that would help save us in this dying world, only to end up accelerating its inevitable destruction. This brings up the question; what is right? Do we even know what we’re doing? What have we done to try and actually change anything? Are we watering the earth or just feeding a constantly growing fire?”

Adam De Micco (guitar) comments: "'Welcome Back O' Sleeping Dreamer' is a song that we feel deserves as much of the light as any other song on 'Pain Remains'. It was a pivotal song in the writing process - it was the song to get the momentum going for the rest of the record. It was the song that we had the most enjoyment writing and I think to this day is probably one of our favorite songs on the record. It's as dark as it is light and it's as intense while not being overbearing. It has become the closest thing to balance as far as our songs are concerned. It is also a song that encapsulates a lot of who we are as a band while being unique from the rest of the songs on 'Pain Remains'.

"Working with Eric was something that we have been wanting to do for some time now. He has always been someone we would reference or were inspired by so it only made sense to do a video with him. It was also a unique experience for us this time because we were in the trenches with him making decisions on everything regarding the video. As an artist you want to see your vision come to light and working with Eric this way, we were able to bring that vision forward."

"The Pain Trilogy" is a three-part tale focusing on the stages of grief and vulnerability - exemplifying it through a love story. The band comments on the tracks as follows:

"Pain Remains I: Dancing Like Flames"

"The first song, 'Dancing like Flames', begins with the main character becoming enamored by the person within his dreams. He decides to turn to this reality as a sense of purpose despite knowing that the closer he gets to his goal, the further it seems to drift away."

"Pain Remains II: After All I've Done, I'll Disappear"

"This leads to the second song, 'After All I've Done, I'll Disappear'. This is the part where the person vanishes, and the main character struggles to accept the pain. He as well wishes to disappear and seeks to throw it all away."

"Pain Remains III: In a Sea of Fire"

"Finally, the trilogy ends with the last song, 'In a Sea of Fire', which focuses with not just acceptance but also anger. Anger at not just himself, but the world around him. The song ends with the main character choosing to wake up by igniting the world. As the fires grow, he is absolved in a sea of fire so that he too may finally disappear."

For LORNA SHORE, 2020 was nothing short of a reckoning – in a career built on challenges, changes and a single-minded vision. For the New Jersey quintet, 2020 signaled the pandemic and cancelled tours. The following year presented the band with a staggering creative challenge in the form of the song, “To the Hellfire” from their hugely well-regarded EP …And I Return to Nothingness. Yet, through it all, they upped their sonic ante with their upcoming album, Pain Remains, that not only aligns with everything LORNA SHORE has hinted at but it also exceeds that – brutally and magnificently. “It feels like a rebirth of everything for us - the energy, the band, the morale,” says drummer Austin Archey.

Today marks the release of the band’s new single and first release off Pain Remains “Sun // Eater”. While the band has been performing the song live on the current “Chaos & Carnage Tour” it premiered on Jose Mangin's Sirius/XM Liquid Metal already.
