I Am Ghost's frontman vocalist Steven Juliano has given a reason as to returning to music, after announcing not that long ago of retiring from music, via his social media profile;

"MY REPLY ON RETURNING TO I AM GHOST: Ok, so lot's and lot's of you have been commenting "But STEVE, you retired!!!" and I get it. I did retire from music. I was done with it. Absolutely. The I Am Ghost members all know: Ronnie, Chad, Gabe, Timmy, Justin, Ryan... we have all tried for YEARS now to get this show going. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was incredibly busy with their other projects. Most of these gents were touring across the world in their other bands so we could never figure out a date for this show to work. Either I was in town that month and two others were in Europe or doing Warped Tour, or I was on tour with Requiem and they were home. It just never seemed to work. And suddenly it finally all just clicked. We were actually all available and some had left their other projects. So, with that said, I couldn't let this opportunity go. These guys are like my brothers, and I would love nothing more than to ROCK these I Am Ghost songs like it was 2008 all over again. Thanks for everyone caring or not. Steven Juliano has spoken... RAWWWWRRR!!!!"

What will the official line-up of the reunited I Am Ghost, be come their reunion comeback showcase this October 22nd 2016? It will be as follows;

I Am Ghost who did their thing from 2005 through 2010, who released an EP "We Are Always Searching" (2005), two full-length albums "Lover's Requiem" (2006) and "Those We Leave Behind" (2008) as well as a live album "Live in Orange County" (2009). But in 2010 the band announced it's break-up indicating that "the band had matured and grown up". So since then the members have moved onto other projects and activities. But something's happened, various mentions have been posted upon social media, including most recent activity indicating a "special announcement" including photos to be said on April 29th 2016. Check it out below and await the details!

Requiem has announced it's disbandment due to the frontman vocalist Steven Juliano retiring from music, giving the following message upon his personal Facebook page -

"How do I go about writing the toughest post in my entire life?

I knew this day would come. As all things in life, everything must come to an end sometime. Yet, you never really know when that moment will hit you. Sometimes it's like some old ache in your knees, and you feel it coming for years and years, and other times it suddenly just hits you; like being sucker punched in the back of the head.

For me, it was some fat boxer named, "Time".

I would rather not do some profound, long gobbledygook tale of my life. Most of you well know I've been singing since I was eight years old doing musical theater. And for the past twenty years of my life, I have been doing this "band thing". Well, the time has come to close that door for good. Not just spouting rubbish, like I am no longer doing Requiem. No, there is more to it.

I am completely retiring from music.

It feels strange saying that since I'm not "that" old, although old-age is figurative, depending on who you ask. Huh, go figure.

I lived out my dreams. Saw the world. Met so many amazing people that it honestly still blows my noggin. I look back on what I did with what I had, and can't believe it all really happened... and it all flew by like some big, epic blur. Music was life. And I am grateful for the retrospection.

I am now starting a new chapter as a professional writer. As a regular guy with a regular job who looks very regular if you saw him walk past you. You probably wouldn't think twice he is so... regular. But the memories will always be there swirling inside my dome. Oh, you can never forget this kind of stuff... no-sir-reeeee!

And what a wonderful dream it all was. I still pinch myself. Yup, it was real alright.

Holy moly was it real.

Love,
Steven Juliano

Thank you: Monsta Zero, Fall Out, The Silence, I Am Ghost, Requiem for the Dead, and Requiem"

Requiem has gone through some changes with it's line-up since releasing it's debut full-length album
"The Unexplainable Truth". Since that release, the band has gone on to release a video and even play some showcases and touring. But after their most recent touring run on the Where Darkness Plays Tour, a beginning transmission of rebirth has taken effect.... The band posting the following in regards to the changes and the future.

"Begin Transmission: REBIRTH

It's time to finally announce the new line up for Requiem. We are beyond excited to let everyone meet the new members, whom will be on the entire William Control, Requiem, Justin Symbol tour starting May 6th across the entire USA.

This is a new chapter for us all, and it's finally time to take our music to the masses. What does that mean? Well, it means national and international touring which we were never able to do before. Please welcome Angela on guitar/vocals (19 years old), Ryan Loomis on Drums (19 Years Old), and Corey on Bass and Vocals (19 Years old). 19 must be our lucky number, since we could not have met a better group of people.

Below are the members Facebook & Twitter pages. Hit them up. Welcome them to the family!
As to the past members, we love them like family, and we are all still friends. They have all moved on to other great things, and touring world-wide was just not what they wanted to do at this moment. With that said, keep checking back often with tour updates from the road! Requiem just scored a bus for the tour, so we will have a lot more time to chat and hang out with all of you after the shows!
Much love to everyone, and see you all very soon!

Whether a band plays a full tour or a mini tour it's always an experience to behold in some shape or form. In this case it was the Where Darkness Plays Tour, about a week and a half of showcases on this brief mini touring run that brought together Requiem and Farewell, My Love.

Both acts have been up-and-comers for some time now, gaining popularity and a fan base like no tomorrow, making themselves known quite well in fact. As such, kicking things off was a second to the last date on this tour out in Van Nuys, California over at the White Oak Music and Art venue, a place where people can learn all there is to know about music, while also showcasing a side for live bands to do their own thing. Which brings us to Requiem who had opened up for Farewell, My Love, bringing on their own flare of craftsmanship.

Their stage presents is front and center, all of the band members working together, while also indicating their own personality traits, like their bassist hoping around from here to there, if not just standing in place kicking the air like he didn't care, gave him that creative edge. Whereas the guitarists sorta dueled one another, showing off each of their own techniques that kept the music flowing along. As for the drummer and vocalist, well the drummer fooled around on and off throughout the band's set, while the vocalist known as Steven Juliano formerly of I Am Ghost, kept the crowd on their feet, interacting in parts, while really embracing the music, doing his screams, clean sets, just made their whole set really come more alive than it already was, if that makes sense. All in all Requiem is definitely no I Am Ghost, but they resemble those mannerisms as they did, except provide it in an all new way and form.

3. Where the Hell Did the Romance Go?
4. Coma

8. Say Hello to the Devil for Me

Now for Farewell, My Love these guys had a brief set up, playing through their setlist of songs rather quickly. Their songs were indeed catchy, upbeat, and competitive going through a rotation of beats, tones, and rhythms, while the lyrics danced along, with each of the band mates playing along. Like these guys, took the stage over, bouncing about, singing their hearts out, while interacting with the crowd of on lookers, who were just as pleased as the band was. As such, Farewell, My Love put on a show of their own style and accordance to their abilities and crowd interaction that can enlighten whoever bear witnesses' their tactics of style and skill set.

Overall the When Darkness Plays Tour, was a darkened force meant to be reckoned with, while it was a brief run, it was one of those experiences that you couldn't avoid, let alone want to miss out on. Surely these acts are going places, just takes the time and effort that will keep the audience coming back again and again, for the performances and listening experience, however you plan to take it, they can give it.
