WILL HAVEN have dropped a new song called, "Winds of Change" - a track that showcases a more familiar side of the band without sacrificing their new stylistic direction. The four-piece wastes no time in conjuring a sonic maelstrom on "Winds of Change", starting out in a frenzied fit of chaos and slowly cascading into a thumpy, droning, atmospheric down-spiral.

Guitarist Jeff Irwin says about "Winds of Change": "This is probably my favorite song on the record. It was written somewhat early on and went through a lot of changes before we were ultimately happy with it. I envisioned something chaotic - that stress you might feel when you are about to die, and then I wanted the ending to be epic like you were floating away. So, capturing that emotion took some time but I think we did it. It was a lot of fun to make... this was a breakthrough song for us, as far as what we can possibly do with our music."

Swedish metal heroes SPARZANZA have released a new single titled "Whatever Come May Be", off their new album "Announcing The End" out now. The band says, ""Whatever Come May Be" is one of the heaviest songs taken from the new album. The Morricone reference with the whistling in the beginning of the song is hard to miss. And when we had fans visit the studio during the recording, one of them (Sophie Aittola) got to do some back-up vocals on the chorus, giving the song a different touch. Sounds like nothing we have ever done before. " Check it HERE.

Virginia Beach, VA's ARSIS, a standout in the technical, melodic death metal genre, has signed a worldwide record deal with Agonia Records, excluding North, South and Central America, in which the band will be released by Nuclear Blast Records. ARSIS has entered Audio Hammer Studio in Florida in late 2017 with producer Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Devildriver, Cannibal Corpse) to begin work on their 6th studio album, follow-up to "Unwelcome" (2013).

ARSIS co-founder James Malone (central figure in the picture) commented: “We are really excited to have found a label partner outside of the Americas. Agonia works with some great bands and we are pleased to be working with them moving forward. We look forward to reaching some new ground with a new record in 2018. Stay tuned for details".

Entheos, comprised of masterful musicians who cut their teeth in bands like Animals as Leaders, The Faceless, Scale the Summit, and Animosity, have premiere the video for "Pulse of a New Era" via Revolver.

Of the clip, singer Chaney Crabb said, "Our aim for the video was to create a glitchy, futuristic atmosphere with bright colors that contrast a stark background. This scenery mirrors the psychedelic nature of the song, and creates an ambiguously entrancing visual to support one of the more driving songs on Dark Future."

Dark-pop artist and renowned drummer Lena Zawaideh – now known under her stage name NightPulse –  is thrilled to unveil her new music video for "The Rush" exclusively on Nasty Gal / Nasty Galaxy. "The Rush" had a primarily female crew on set and was directed by Lindsey Byrnes (Troye Sivan, Tegan and Sara, Laura Jane Grace, PVRIS, Paramore, and more). Nasty Gal dubbed Zawaideh as a "dark-electro-phenom’ who has risen from the disbandment of her previous band Bad Things into a singer, songwriter, and self-taught producer - all while embracing her sexuality and identity through her music. The single was originally released at the top of the year, receiving praise for the ‘electro pop-gem." by BlackBook.

When asked about the video, Zawaideh said: "I enlisted the help of Lindsey Byrnes again to bring the track to life. In addition to myself, the video features a mannequin which represents an extension of oneself - emotionally empty and detached from reality. It can be a numb, dead part of yourself that strives to feel a 'rush' again." Though the track has an upbeat Friday night out vibe, Lena expressed that the song is about "chasing elusive highs." She added: "They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. "The Rush" takes us through the journey to insanity — from the highs to the lows and back again."

Norwegian band, The Naveblues, pride themselves on eccentric sounds and the marriage of a myriad of musical genres. They have crafted a sound that demands to be heard, lulling into a rootsy blues style before rocketing to an electrifying indie rock anthem. Their ample use of the harmonica, often used where lyrics and melodies typically exist, is another defining differentiated when it comes to their sound.

Their newest single, "Possess You" incorporates the energy of alternative rock and the soul of the smoothest blues track. True to form, the star of the show is the earthy, reverberation of the harmonica running rampant throughout. It’s an equal mix of ferocious rock style and a simmer blues sensibility that turns explosive when you least expect it. The Naveblues are carving out a space for themselves where one didn’t exist before, combining a multitude of genres that bend and build cohesively as one sound. They understand the intricacies of hard rock just as effortlessly as they do the earthy, unadulterated soul of classic blues— and single "Possess You" brings it all together.

Post hardcore quartet Eyes On Satellites has released a new single "She Bends Her Arms To Look Like Wings". Along with the new single comes the group's announcement of their upcoming EP titled, "The Illuminator", which is set to release April 6th 2018. Mixed and mastered by Matt McLellan (Underoath, Being As An Ocean) at Glow in the Dark Studios, helped highlight the band's influences of melodic guitars, driving drums and ambient sounds to give the six track EP, exactly what the band represents.

""The Illuminator" represents Eyes On Satellites as a whole. It's the culmination of endless writing and hard work to achieve the growth and change as a band that we strived for. Going into writing these songs we wanted to both sonically and musically challenge and push ourselves out of our comfort zones," explains bassist, Daniel Matthew. "The end result is six songs telling an intertwined story of love, loss, and having the comfort and courage to be yourself and stand up for what you truly believe in."

Alt-rock psych mavericks Turbowolf have released their new single "Cheap Magic", which premiered on Clash who say the track is a "dirty, deranged piece of work that explodes with a sense of purpose." It’s the latest track to be taken from their upcoming album, "The Free Life", out March 9th 2018 on So Recordings.

Frontman Chris Georgiadis says, "Our latest song release from our new album "The Free Life", springs out of the hat in the form of "Cheap Magic". A song conjured up specially for our times; whether they be good, bad or most likely, entirely made up. Plus as a bonus, we're incredibly happy to have our friend Sebastien Grainger from Death From Above do some singing on it too. You're welcome."

Premiering on Radio 1’s Rock Show "Cheap Magic" opens with an unrelenting guitar riff, drenched in near speaker-breaking levels of distortion, propelling the track into stratospheric aural majesty amid reverb-laden vocal whispers. It then explodes into its blistering verse and anthemic chorus, with vocoder saturated lyrics casting the spell of "Cheap Magic" over the track.

The video sees both the band and Sebastian performing in a psychedelic lo-fi nightmare which lures the viewer into a deep trip of breakneck sonic extravagance which comes in at just under three minutes.

A recurring theme in the band’s music, the track highlights their interest in magic, including the mystical practice of numerology, ancient civilisations and the theories of Graham Hancock, which are regularly referenced lyrically in addition to pearls of ancient esoteric philosophy.

"We, like you, enjoy a plethora of thoughts and ideas and heartily drink them into our bellies where they congeal and effect our outpourings. These ingredients can come from the most visible sources or from the most invisible. Some of the most invisible ones taste the best, so sometimes we binge on them and get fat." explains Chris.

"Cheap Magic" is the third single to be taken from the band’s upcoming album, "The Free Life", check it right HERE.

Belgian dark rock outfit DIABLO BLVD have released the official video for the single "The Future Will Do What It’s Told" off their fourth and critically-acclaimed new album, "Zero Hour" (Nuclear Blast/Metalville).

Vocalist Alex Agnew comments: "This song about the world we live in. Behind every religion and religious war, there is oil, gas or an arms deal. Presidents and kings are not in charge. There is power behind power and money behind money. And if you are the power behind the power and the money behind the money, you do not need to be able to predict the future. The future will do what it’s told."

Table Scraps have just unleashed their hilarious video for the brilliant new single "I'm A Failure" from their album "Autonomy" out now on Zen Ten.

On the inspiration for the tongue-in-cheek video, TJ of Table Scraps has said: "Making videos without any budget is more fun. We took some cheap wood and socks and made this Beavis and Butt-Head inspired love letter to the golden era of MTV - excess, big budgets, channel hopping and boredom. Sock puppets and explosions were always meant to be together!"

Norwegian metal-core upstarts Beyond Mara have released a new video this morning. Premiering via New Noise Magazine "Hindenburg", is a scathing track of destructive force with seriously down-tuned djent guitar lines.

Speaking on the inspiration for the song the band released the following statement "Hindenburg is a song about a person that you thought you knew but then they slowly reveal their true self until one day suddenly all hell breaks loose. The phrase ‘crash and burn' in the song fits well with this individual that the song was written about and also the song’s title."

Mixing together the likeness of punk, rock, ska, and doo-wop, Krista D has been making music since her teenage years, into adulthood, with no plans on stopping. Her most recent release being an EP titled "Look at me... I'm Krista D", plans ahead are just to keep creating and releasing more music! That is precisely what she Krista D goes into detail about, nothing but the music from her word of mouth!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

I'm a singer-songwriter and this is one of my 3 studio projects.
I've been recording on and off since I was a teenager but took some time off from music and began working primarily as a visual artist. Now I'm trying to juggle both a music career and an art career.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

I started recording as a kid, so the name came about simply because I didn't put much thought into it. My name was Krista Doucet, so, Krista D it was. I did continue using it for a mildly more interesting reason though. My earliest recordings were in the christian music genre. I decided to keep recording as Krista D and then visually re-branded to allude to the character Sandra Dee from the film Grease. I figured since Sandy had a good girl to bad girl type transition in the movie; referencing the movie would imply that I'm no longer recording for that market or part of that lifestyle. Not everyone will catch it of course, but it might be obvious to people who are familiar with the movie.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? >Are there any local bands you could recommend?

I'm based out of Edmonton, Alberta and I moved here from New Brunswick. Right now I'm far more enmeshed in the visual arts scene but have been actively trying to get more involved in the music scene. Two great performances I've checked out recently were by a band called Reifer Madness and a guy named Jay Gilday. Opposite ends of the spectrum genre-wise but both amazing artists in their own right. There's a talented singer-songwriter named Nuela Charles who is based here, she does beautiful work, and I'm planning on checking out an upcoming performance by a cool band called Jr. Gone Wild.

4. How would you describe your style?

I was trying to mix a sugary vibe with a bit of sass. So it's punk rock/ska/50's style harmonies & doo-wop.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your
works?

This is my third release as Krista D, but this is the first release where I'll have a cohesive sounding album. My earlier recordings were very eclectic and I would switch from genre to genre throughout the album. This EP has some selected, re-released/remastered, tracks from my last album, alongside some new singles. I decided to compartmentalize my songwriting, opposed to putting out another recording that can come across like a mix tape. Krista D is the name I'll release any punk rock/ska/doo-wop tracks I write and the other two projects will be where I release soft rock and experimental hard rock tracks.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

I do! Lot's actually. I have a weird experimental rock project coming out soon-ishly, it will be released under the band name Hooha and the Peter Guns. I am also finishing up a soft rock EP which will be released under the name Molly Grue. Those projects are far angrier and gloomier than this project.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Right now I'm working on solidifying an official band line-up which enables me to play locally, but I already have a band line-up for if I do a secondary EP release on the East Coast. So, things are in the works, but nothing solid and shareable at the moment.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Just to keep creating and releasing music.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can listen to, and buy it on Bandcamp: https://theoriginalkristad.bandcamp.com/. It is also available on most digital platforms, such as Apple Music, Spotify or online radio stations like Pandora.

If anyone would like a hard copy, it would have to be through messaging me directly on my FB band page: https://www.facebook.com/theoriginalkristad/.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

I guess I'd like them to remember that I'm not just churning out songs like they're a product that I want to sell. If I've recorded a song, it's meant something to me or I've experienced an emotion strong enough to spark it. Things like that are important to me when I'm listening to music so I guess I'd want people to know that about my process.

Finnish modern melodic death metal band MORS SUBITA have released their second single called "Into the Pitch Black" from the upcoming eponymous album, due to be released on April 6th 2018 by Inverse Records.

Guitarist Mika Lammassaari comments: ""Into the Pitch Black" is a relentless album. It sticks to your head like a nail and does not give up until you´ve given it enough spins. We definitely went back to our roots with amping up our melody-game. We also wanted to furthermore increase the hostility of our riffing and drumming so there´s a lot more brutality to accompany the nice melodies. This album without a doubt our strongest and most versatile album yet – it sounds like the work of totally bipolar band but somehow it all flows together very well."

Boston based artist Ruby Rose Fox has just released an evocative and powerful video for the song "Freedom Fighter," featured on her 2016 album "Domestic". The video, which features Fox running through a warehouse to catch a bullet and save her child while men look on idly from the sidelines, acts as a striking visual metaphor for the horror of the current school shooting epidemic, and the government’s inability to enact change. The video is also an artful attack against the harshness of the male gaze and its current consequences in the world of entertainment.

"Before the #MeToo Movement erupted, expressing frustrations with trying to win the unbeatable game of winning approval from the male gaze would have pegged my work as exclusively "feminist," says Ruby. "Quite refreshingly, I feel less isolated now and part of a bigger movement which is inciting very tangible social change. I’m excited, for our sophomore record Salt goes even deeper, and it includes this idea of intersectionality."

The video, directed by Ben Phillippo, has its thematic and aesthetic roots in dystopian Sci-Fi shows like The Twilight Zone and more recently, Black Mirror. "I grew up in Binghamton, NY and most of my early music education was funded by The Twilight Zone’s creator, Rod Serling, so I was thrilled about the Black Mirror aspect of Ben’s [director] idea," says Ruby. "I wrote this song in the car coming home from a tour with Martha Davis and The Motels, little did I know two years later, I would be sprinting across a warehouse 500 times!"

Texas based Bloodline is igniting the scene down South with their ferocious brand of alternative metalcore, and the band burns it all down with the premiere of "N.S.T.B." with NewNoiseMagazine.com. The track is featured on the band’s forthcoming, debut album, "Insolent", which is due out on March 23rd 2018. Bloodline has also announced plans to support the record on their upcoming album release tour this March/April.

""N.S.T.B." is a clap back to anyone who acts like they are better than you because they live a different life style. Personally, this has often come from people I have been close with not giving me any space to breathe, much less letting me forge my own path in life without passing judgment. It also touches on how easy it is to buy into the negativity and the difficulty in cutting ties with them."- Bloodline

We’re extremely pleased to announce the signing of alternative metal newcomers, Nereis. Originally formed in 2007 under the name Blackstar, Nereis are an alternative metal band with a heavy-rock edge. The band caught the attention of Eclipse Records after achieving over 125,000 downloads of their independently-released "From the Ashes" EP via free music portal, Jamendo. In 2017, the band finished recording a new full-length album entitled "Turning Point", which will be released in the Summer of 2018.

"After finishing our new album, we searched for a record label that would meet our expectations," states vocalist Andrea Barchiesi. "We finally found at last, what we had been looking for, and we are enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with Eclipse Records that, in my opinion does a great job with its bands. I believe that we can be an amazing team together and promote our music at its best."

Gears have released a new song turned video of the track "King", off their upcoming EP out soon.

When asked about the track, this was said, "Society has become so soft and forgiving, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes you can't just live and let live. Sometimes you have to confront those that stand between you and what you want to achieve. It's not always pretty, and it's not always peaceful, but not everything can be resolved using our inside voices." - Jimmy Wooten

Ministry releases a surreal and provocative new music video for the track "Twilight Zone" from the band's upcoming album, "AmeriKKKant", due out March 9, 2018 via Nuclear Blast Records.  Building upon the themes of the song, the "Twilight Zone" video takes the viewer on a macabre excursion through the current U.S. news media climate of misinformation, corporate propaganda and hypocritical slander. "We are in completely uncharted territory now," said Ministry's Al Jourgensen, "witnessing the unraveling of what was once a functional democracy. Our government is under attack. Our planet is under attack. It's time for a major reboot."

The video was filmed last December just outside of Los Angeles and features Ministry guitarists Sin Quirin and Cesar Soto, Tony Campos (Fear Factory, Static X) on bass, keyboardist John Bechdel (Killing Joke, Fear Factory), live scratcher DJ Swamp (Beck, the Crystal Method), and Derek Abrams on drums.  Guest appearances are made by Gray Wolf, President of American Indian Movement (AIM), the internationally renowned and idiosyncratic Lord of the Cello, and an army of Ministry supporters who participated in the band's PledgeMusic AmeriKKKant pre-order campaign.

The "Twilight Zone" video was produced by Chris Roth and Steve Roth for The Other House production company, the same group that produced Jourgensen's previous music video, "I'm Invisible" for his 2016 Surgical Meth Machine release.  Chris Roth also directed the "Twilight Zone" video with Steve Roth as Director of Photography and editor.  The Other House has produced a wide array of broadcast design projects for Revolt TV, Nike's Kobe 8 System, MTV, Aol.RISE, the Syfy Network, VH-1, CNN, PBS, "The Profit" on CNBC, the 2017 Emmy Awards and many more.

Said Chris Roth, "I'm a life-long fan of the band and very politically active.  Not only was this an opportunity to collaborate creatively once again with the one and only Al Jourgensen, but also an outlet for much of my pent up aggression and frustration regarding the current state of politics in our country."
