Up and coming emo rap duo Ash and Milo out of sunny California, has gone on to name themselves "ghxstpul$e" in short "ghost-pulse", since forming only a year ago, they have released a debut album "Worse Case Scenario" in 2025, with a sophomore album following that very next year with "Everybody Is The Same" in 2026. The follow-up is slightly longer than its predecessor, being 11 songs total at 25 minutes and 58 seconds, whereas the debut was 10 songs at 20 minutes 8 seconds, so slightly longer which made it more simplified.

This release does contain some interesting tracks such as "Mummy In A Coffin", "Right Push, Wrong Direction", "Bodybag", "Life Is Special" and 'Shooting Star", are some of the "stand-out" tracks featured, that really embrace the listener. Very meaningful lyrical context, vocalization provided being very dramatic yet intense, not in a screaming sense but emotionally fixated way. If you're thinking this duo is aligned with the likes of Linkin Park or Papa Roach that rap rock style, far from them, they are more that rap emo sense, to the likeness to that of Lil Peep, Lil Lotus, emoflytrap, with many others out there, that's the similarity in style you get with this duo act.

The duo's vocalization methods are solid, creating this futuristic vocal tone, that makes sense in the current time that we are in, with the ways of the future. The voice usage is done uniquely yet fun. They work off one another, blending together to create a vocal working's that makes them sound flawless. The tone for each of the songs mentioned and the album overall, is upbeat and catchy, having me nodding my head to the beats, they are heavy metal "heavy" but still capture an essence of that classic "emo" 2000's era that a lot could pick up on.

In the end, this sophomore album by the likely duo, captures a moment in time, that just works. It has its melodies, energies, and so much else that makes it fall into place. It's a clever piece of work that makes this best friend duo, be themselves, creating an art that people can love and enjoy.

Guitarist Kerry King, best known as forming thrash 80’s legends Slayer way back when, whom had their time to shine until 2019, has decided to go solo after the band’s retirement back then. Until recently when that band actually announced their return, but besides that being a thing, Kerry King has gone solo with his debut work’s titled “From Hell I Rise”, debuting summer time 2024.

Releasing not one, but two single’s off it first called “Idle Hands” and the second being “Residue”, both tracks were well received by the fans old Slayer and newer fans of course. The styling being very much like Slayer’s tone except more vibrant and new. Aside from Kerry being a part of the band on guitars, Phil Demmel is on guitars, along with drummer Paul Bostaph formerly of Slayer, Testament, Forbidden and Exodus, came on board to join, along with Hellyeah bassist Kyle Sanders, and frontman vocalist Mark Osegueda of Death Angel. Together this formation has created a solid piece of work both in band membership and musically.

The album had begun work upon it back in 2020, with King mentioning how he had more than two albums’ worth of music ready for it,  saying that he and drummer Bostaph that this new project would sound like Slayer but not it being Slayer for the most part. With a follow-up album already a work in progress according to King. But regardless, the material with just these two single’s alone, have set up the rest of the album really, a lot of the other stand out tracks such as “Where I Reign”, "Crucifixation", "Everything I Hate About You", "Rage", and the title track "From Hell I Rise", are all collective pieces, that create that momentum that Slayer is best known for except with King at the helm of it. A lot of solo working’s and energy given forth, with both guitarists in Kerry and Demmel going off one another, making such a fuss it makes the music more entrancing. King stays true to his classic rootage with this raw stack of songs, creating something refreshing yet memorable that fans of past work’s and this new material would nod and admire it from all sides.

The production and mixing done on this release is high quality material, that being produced by Josh Wilburm the album is everything Slayer could have been, if the band would have continued. That not being a bad thing, not at all, it is admirable really. Likely the material with these tracks, and the album as a whole, is just that a collect of tracks that I would consider simply as Slayer 2.0.

To never give up, is what got the likes of Crimson Crow together, having so many changes, mishaps, with numerous releases over the span of their music careers as it were. The band would come around in 2020 finding one singer who would fit the mold with Kaisa Kalliomäki. This would have the band go on to release an album called "Silent Before The Dawn".

The album featuring some of the songs of previous vocalist Mikko Hölsö, being the lead/backing vocals, taken from rehearsal recordings in 2017. The album has a lot of rock, melodic rock, with elements of progressive tones, acoustic guitars, with lyrical context covering life, love, sorrow, and humor as well. The album has 11 tracks of the actual release with bonus tracks included with the addition of five more tracks, in total 16-tracks of material that is gripping yet mellow.

Some of the stand out tracks include such as "Hold On", "Yesterday's Rain", "Wicked Heart", and "Dying Love". Each of these being fierce, catchy, yet meaningful. Melody-wise the instrumentals are catchy throughout, whereas the vocals provided brings a more 70's to 90's tone, sounding a lot like Cinderella crossed with the band Heart ever so slightly. The material is indeed filled with numerous guitar riffs, solos, with a voice that makes the album soar yet dramatic. Each of the tracks mentioned and altogether really, has this release just send chills through and through really.

Everything works so well together, each of the band members does their part in proper roles, providing works that connect well with one another meshing well enough; that they balance and connect to each other really nicely. It's an album that blends the classics with a modern era of the here and now, that many music listeners shall enjoy.

Sonik G or Sonik Garcia known for his early working's work his previous band Fallen Figures, later filling in temp for As Blood Runs Black, he has continued his pursuit with music. Going as far as releasing a solo album titled "Made In Los Angeles" released in 2020. In fact a time in which Los Angeles and the entire world was in a bit of a crisis at that time of year. But any who this release has 10 tracks upon it, including a very "nice" cover track of the pop idol icon group the Backstreet Boys titled "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)", heaviness, flawlessness, and just downright aggression. Another track worth mentioning would have to be "Hollywood (Defamation)", another heavy hitter, with straight up force, aggression provided by the vocal chords, instrumentation and just all else really. The song is catchy, upbeat and just packs it in that you can't but find yourself nodding your head to it. One of the tracks that has an interesting title to it is believe it or not titled "Fallen Figure". Now is this a track a tribute or connected to his previous band perhaps so. Like the others already discussed, this track has it's entertaining moments, vocalization is heavy, pitched well with the instrumentals done superbly well. Sonik himself expressed this about this album saying "It’s basis is about the city that build me and without haters I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Their words fueled my desire to prove them wrong." The rest of the album remains heavy with has it's moments with such tracks as "Hurricane" and "The World Keeps Turning", as well as the title track. These being heavy lifting material but has a light-sided effect, meaning they are heavy enduring but keep the works more mellow yet heavy if that makes sense. The trio of tracks mesh well and make the album as a whole, with the leftover tracks present contract this release as a finishing piece of art and just heaviness through and through. If you like the heavy with the light then think any modern deathcore band meets post-hardcore band such as Dayseeker.

During the summer of 2020 Fear Incorporated went on to not only write but record an all new album titled "Of Nightmares And Strychine". The 12-track release consists of the usual formula that Fear Incorporated is known for, take alternative, goth, industrial, dark wave, post punk, with some theater thrown in for good measure. It's been provided across the array of content released through the years. One of the tracks is dedicated to someone named Steven C Davis from GASP (The Gothic And Progressive Steampunk Show), who has been around promoting the band for quite sometime. The track being titled "The Djinn", this number being quite interesting. The vocals are downright eerie yet captivating; whilst the instrumentation is more or less just noise but it has a tone that keeps it creepily entertaining. A few of the other tracks off this release like “Red Baron”, “Possessed”, “The Mortician”, and “Troll”, are probably some of the more interesting to say the least. These assortment of tracks just provide such an interesting tone of art, it’s hard to depict how to really describe them. Some are brief others linger onward, with the remainder being present. It’s an album that captures a style of sound that brings remembrance to the mind and the ears. It’s how most if not all of Fear Incorporated’s works tend to work out in the long run. Let it be remembered after being heard all the way through.

Seven years to their namesake, Ruins Of Elysium have released three full-length album's to date, including their most newest and recent calling "Amphitrite: Ancient Sanctuary In The Sea". An array assortment of 12-tracks that span of what is said to be eight different languages. The assortment of languages includes; English, Chinese, Latin, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, Hindi and more. As the band puts it, it is simply a round the world like trip from the comfort of your ear sockets.

Tenor being the styling of vocalization provided from Ruins Of Elysium's frontman Drake Chrisdensen, where his styling takes on a classical approach, with a vocal range that intertwines the countertenor and baritone voice types. In short, it is one of the highest voice types for a male vocalist to perform. Drake here does flawlessly, combining not just good tenor stylistics but with the genre choices of epic symphonic metal, this album brings forth the likes of folk metal as well as some Celtic folk as well as traditional metal. It combines an ethnic element from not just vocal chords but the instrumentals too, as they are used to contemplate to numerous cultures and folklore's from across the globe.

Very much all of this can be heard within the first couple of tracks including opening track “Alexiel An Epic Lovestory”, following up with “Queen of The Seven Seas”, and then “Belladonna”. Each play well into one another. Vocalization provided is done quite well, whilst the instrumentation is superb and catching. Some portions provide a rather fast paced effort, whereas other parts keep a steady beat that keeps the music together, but has it sink in making it sound gripping yet soaring at times.

Other notable tracks off this release likely consist of such as “”Atlas”, Book Of Seals”, and “Cathedral Of Cascades”. These resemble such an epic presence that is purely majestic yet heavy through and through. It is the sound that Ruins Of Elysium has always been able to craft and create since their forming so long ago. This album is merely a treat for many in all shape and form of its creation.

If an epic tale of adventure is what you seek within the form of music; then perhaps seeking the likes of Ruins Of Elysium is for you. Otherwise this band is without a doubt one that will not be forgotten but cherished and remembered for many years to come.

Angelspit's ninth album "The Ignorance Cartel", is the latest addition to the Angelspit extensive catalog. Across this assortment of what is 14-tracks comes an array of material that is solid yet catchy. Take for instance opening number "Eat the Children", it has a build up that creates edginess. It’s heavy yet plays out like a lot of industrial types of material does, being very catchy yet upbeat as well. The same goes for a lot of the other tracks that come off this release like "Ammosexual", "Love to Watch", "Don't Say", "Comply or Die", and "Live Fast or Die",  capture just this weird but unique noise of ultra sound that has brutal beasts that could be heard within the walls of all goth club setting. It's industrial techno beats straight out of the 90's cyberpunk scene, with bits and pieces of distortion and mixes that make even the production value sound crisp yet dense. Pretty much the entirety of this release is mid-temp electro punk tracks, that has the fans of Angelspit devouring every inch of it. Each and every one of the tracks can simply be felt with the beats and have you dancing along whether that be in your sit or on the dance floor if you posses one. Otherwise Angelspit’s latest addition is just chalk full of working’s that will make it a piece of work, that will have you leaning in for more to keep you tame yet relaxed as well.

Duo band Petals And Thorns have not one but two albums under their belts. Their debut album "The Broken Mirror", released back in 2014 is where the band left things. Taking some time to focus upon themselves and what not, they would go on to write and record material later on leading up to what is their follow-up sophomore album titled "The Maid And The Blacksmith" released this year that is 2020. Perhaps the 2020 year of downtime for everyone, had them get into the urge of creating music once more? Perhaps so or perhaps not. Nevertheless though, Petals And Thorn's newest offering, offers 8-tracks, opening up with "Digital Religion", a rather captivating tune that sets the album straight away. Whereas "Through The Shadows" and "Echo Chamber", capture a more toned down effort. Sounding more doom and gloom as it were. Think if Evanescence had returned to their roots sounding more goth and experimental that is how these two tracks sound much like really. Their style is a lot like theirs except adds the added flare of dark wave and alternative making their style more upset yet mellow.  Other tracks like “Lost In A Dream”, “Behind The Curtain”, and “Burning Within”, each have their uniqueness but do sound much alike. It’s not a bad thing, just more or less has such a smooth performance structure done by the duo with an added production value, that makes this sound stunning if not amazing at times. Whilst it may have taken some time for it to be done and released, it is an enjoyable piece for the ears, not just originality but it done from the get go that makes Petals And Thorns soulful and fun to hear from any release released.

The former Money Brothers, Monte and Michael Money formerly the co-founder's, members, and writer's of Escape The Fate, have formed an all new band called Beyond Unbroken. This band releasing a debut DIY released EP titled "Don't Wake the Dead", in 2017 having had a few single's come forth off it. After three year's since the band's last release, the band would go on to release two single's off what would be the band's debut DIY album titled "Running Out of Time". Said single's would be "In My Head" and "Enemy", with follow-up being the title track "Running Out of Time".

Since these single’s were released the album would soon follow through, with it’s assorted content, being reminisce to that of Escape The Fate’s time except perhaps being a more modernized version. The vocalization being vivid and clear, whilst the instrumentation is energetic yet vibrant. Some of their notable “scream” antics, can be heard within the album’s selected tracks.

Take such other tracks like "Hold On", "The Nightmare", and "Smile", are just the glimpses of what this band can do musically and lyrically. The emotions involved are just so welcoming at times, you can immediately relate.  As far as the other tracks go, they are much like the other’s, being very foretelling, that they are catchy in their beats and overall tone.

Perhaps hearing the album through a few times over, and hearing the EP that came before it, the EP release did involve just a tad more energy and more screams that can be said for the band’s debut LP release. It’s not much of a downer but it is a bit disheartening. All in all really, Beyond Unbroken’s debut album that is “Running Out of Time”, is tame and fulfilled with antics that can please the listener more or less.

Alternative up and comer Luis Mojica has released his latest album yet titled "How A Stranger Is Made". This album being a following of sorts, a journey if you will, that goes deep into the depths and parts of his mind and heart. Him facing and transforming unresolved pain into the bliss and freedom that he so longs for, is within the 10-tracks of this release.

With that, you get the opening track titled "Insane", detailing the expressions of loss, pain, and struggle. The melodies within is catchy but also upbeat, offering a smooth jazz aspect, with piano work's that keeps the tones in check, yet very melodramatic. A lot of the tracks following said opener, such as "Invoked", "With Love", and "Stranger Song", each provide this same type of aspect. A fusion of pop meets alternative, think the pop artist named Mika for instance. That is what is happening with Luis.

There is just so much energy, angst, and progression within the material here. A lot of driven force, that keeps the music very meaningful yet fulfilling as well. It’s as if the vocal chords, send chill’s down your body into the inner self that is your soul. Lots of momentum through and through really. The music is captivating as it is whole.

The remainder of the album, is filled with other tracks that fall along the same alignment as the one’s already mentioned prior. Same type of energy thrown together, giving off similarities that will make you wanting more. How the voice and instrumentals work together is so classy it makes the music pop-out even more so. Hearing each of the tracks play on through, makes the material seem longer yet it goes quickly, easily wanting you to hit repeat on the entire thing.

Luis Mojica’s latest album that is “How A Stranger Is Made”, is simply put vivid. He has talent and it is shown beautifully within this release. His previous and perhaps future works, being just as talented as this one is, except better perhaps.

"Those We Leave Behind" released in 2008 had a good chunk of my life revolving around a previous relationship I was involved in. The band the album was from was one out of California Los Angeles in the city of Long Beach called I Am Ghost. Whom I saw quite a few times spanning 2008 through 2010, during which time the band would break up; reuniting briefly several years later, to conclude their commence together with a finale if you will in 2016. But before the reunion would take place, main frontman and vocalist behind said band Steven Juliano would go off to form another band named Requiem For The Dead, later shortening it to Requiem. That band releasing a debut album "Always And Forever" (2011) and follow-up EP "Memories" (2013) under the Requiem For The Dead namesake, later releasing a whole another album titled "The Unexplainable Truth" under the Requiem name. That band would soon disband as well, having Steven Juliano go on to form another band this one being a whole another entity altogether calling themselves My Immortal Enemy.

My Immortal Enemy would be as said prior, a whole new project and band from Steve Julaino. This band taking an entire year of time to write and record what would be their debut album "Akuma". Releasing single's over the span of several month's thus including "Paradise", "I, Devil'lyn", "Dangerous", "Atlas", and "The Laughing Heart". The album would consist of 12-tracks described by the band as "rock anthems", having been recorded at Indigital Studios, then being mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren whose other worked included such bands as Machine Head, All Shall Perish, and Set Your Goals.

So then, how does this projected band line-up to the likes of Steven Juliano's past band projects i.e. I Am Ghost, Requiem For The Dead, and Requiem. Well "Dangerous", as a single was released this past spring time in April, the teaser then full track fully released and it being the opener of the album, would be a rather solid choice. Except the intro of the track is whether just thrown at you, as opposed to having a "build-up" to it, it is just dropped upon you, giving you a rush of energy and pulsating tension that makes the music electric. In short the track is simply put “fast” yet energetic.

"I, Devil'lyn", was another one of the single's to be released, it's teaser released in May with the full track released the next month of June. How it aligns after opener "Dangerous", is more or less another powerful punch, with more heaviness to it. Think of I Am Ghost's "Those We Leave Behind" (2008) crossed with Requiem For The Dead's "The Death Note of Shipwrecks" slightly.... with a dash of "Sticks & Stones & Her Lovely Bones" by Requiem.

Now "Into The Blue", sounds in similar fashion to that of I Am Ghost's "Killers Like Candy", but only similar in some aspects. Instrumentation for one, sounds in a way of one another, because of the heavy tone in some parts, whilst the vocalization is mellow throughout. It just recaptures that essence beforehand if you will sort of. "The Laughing Heart", is another one of those single's released already it being released back in March; it went on to showcase an element just as the other single's already mentioned. Containing a heaviness in tone, where the vocal chords are intense yet energetic through and through. Steven's vocal work being a lot like I Am Ghost's timing than his later banded projects.

"Atlas", follows suit, as it was released in April along the same time frame as others noted already. Except this one tends to include Steven's vocal work to be more put together, calming in on the scream antics more so at times, as other tracks had them as well, except they are presented more regularly at times. "Paradise", had its teaser in the mid to late summer, the full release coming in August with teaser in July. How does this single track hold up to those that came before it. Well as it turns out, it stands well on its own doing actually. It brings to mind later I Am Ghost meets Requiem vibes thoroughly well, in fact it has a circular fashion that makes the music very familiar yet re-freshening.

All of the tracks that follow; "Blood On My Hands", for one falls in-between the likes of newer I Am Ghost as far as sound goes. Think "Don't Wake Up", vibes and you get an ideal of how it ends up. "Chances Are", lingers with intensity that calls to the old material of I Am Ghost, energy galore really, vocal chords fulfilled like no tomorrow, keeping everything at a high end level, that the song becomes repeatable. "After The Funeral", leans more into the Requiem terrain, sounding a lot like their album, capturing that same source of tone, vocals are more "in your face", with an assortment of growls and screams, making the track more appealing, but sound a lot like "Say Hello To The Devil For Me" from Requiem.

"Shiver", sounds like it would have came off of Requiem For The Dead's album "Always And Forever", particularly a track "Kill Or Be Killed". Coming to the end with "Dearly Departed", combining the likes of the three previous bands Steven has sung for, same as what has been said for the most part. That energy and vocalization is all what this track has embedded within it. Intensity, mellow passion with lots of melodic tension with fast paced pressure, it just rings an effort of the trio of his past.

Lasting in on the finale of the "Akuma" debut album from My Immortal Enemy comes "Hellos Are Harder Than Goodbyes". The twelfth and last track to the album, turns out to be one that like the rest, are a lot like the past working’s in all honesty. Not saying that this is a bad thing, far from that, it means a remembrance. I Am Ghost was a part of Steven’s life for a good amount of time. To hear a lot of that band’s work in a similar way in these other bands is a chuckle of a good time. Each one may sound a lot alike at times, including My Immortal Enemy’s material. “Akuma”, as a whole though, is a stand alone piece of work. It does bring a familiarity to the listener, not necessarily being an I Am Ghost 2.0 per say but quite close enough.

My Immortal Enemy has dealt with some minor change ups since it’s formation, playing shows included, with releasing it’s array of single’s and this album to boot, surely the fans of the past creations from Steven Juliano will welcome this projected band with arms open widely. Having the single’s as call outs to the past, with the remainder of the album’s other track offering’s as acceptance of the future, and where this band could end up next. Let the excitement commence.

Gerry Cea born long ago, did his share of moving but way later down the line, he would go on to enter a recording studio, writing and then recording material with producer Rudy Perez and Chris Price making an album called "Something New".  The style would be a mix if pop/rock think of all the assortment of acts around in year's past and present, that is how Gerry sounds much like really upon this release. A lot of the tracks off this album, it consisting of 12 total, would reach out to many such as "With You", "One Day At The Time", "Mine", and "The One", are the very few that tend to stick out the most upon this album of his. These lump sum of tracks, are catchy and shall we say highly entertaining throughout their play time. Whereas the remaining tracks come along the same aspects for the most part. One of which being an all acoustic tune, that is very much easy going for that easy listening type of experience. All the rest fall within sounding calm and relaxing if not downright catchy, cannot express that enough really. For Gerry as an artist though, he has talent and it shows through within this album and it's track listing. His voice is emotional and powering in tone and feeling throughout each and every one of these tracks off this little old album he like's to call "Something New".

Who would have thought that the four seasons, would mean so much to so many.... including Fran Dominguez and Forest Robots. They have released three full-length albums, their most recent and newest being "Times When I Know You'll Watch The Sky" This all new and third full-length album in two years! But not only does this album come with the accompanying music, but a short film of sorts as well titled "All Things Grow Faint With Great Adorn In Autumn". Fran and the Forest Robot's goal's were all along to build upon the world that they have created as musicians, thus making this world of sound revolving around their releases as these albums.

Now what does this have to do with the four seasons, well the band's first full-length debut album called "Supermoon Moonlight Part 1", celebrated the spring season, whereas the second full-length album titled "Timberline And Mountain Crest" was about the summer season. The third album to date is all about the fall season or autumn to some. It's more or less a representation on Stanley Horowitz's quote about the fall season, saying as such "Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all".

When it comes to this album of material, an array of assorted contented can be heard within, ranging from acoustic to orchestral, synth-wave, ambient and even some IDM sounds from previous albums can all be heard within this newest effort of offerings. It pretty much mixes everything up, adding in a tad more of the synthesizers and acoustics growing a more complex reality of the music at play as it were. It has this enchanting styling of sound to it really. Capturing this essence that is both soothing yet very comforting as well. Take for instance tracks like "Everything Under The Light Of The Full Moon", "Deep In The Milky Way Spectrum", "Of Rivers And Rivers Of Light", with "Follow The Fog And The Rain", it all fits so willingly together, it brings forth this every longing passion of visuals and just everlasting sound waves of tones.

With this album's short film accompanying it, comes the visual concept the interpretation of nature and the transformation effect it just has upon the listener and all of us in general, it has this companionship to it, that makes it just sink in and float.

That is more or less how Fran Dominguez and Forest Robots play out, with their music showcasing abilities and ways with it. If you prefer a more laid back, yet easy going listening experience, with a film to boot, then by all means then this is one act that you need to hear by all ways possible.

Beloved children's songs and nursery rhymes have been sung and known by children and families for generations. Children's music today continues to expand with new artists, new visions, new directions and even more music creativity, as reflected by one new album, "School of Fish," by Cynthia Haring and World Nation with the Sue Sue Sisters featuring the World Nation Children's Choir.

"School of Fish" is a collection of 10 tracks that are children's songs, but not those you know. Most of the songs are originals, written in a variety of song styles. They are fun, silly, tender and loving songs for kids and really everyone else ready to listen and enjoy. The songs include such originals as "Happy Birthday Mooey," "I Just Wanna Hold a Piglet," "Cockadoodle Doo Doo," "Pouty Face," "My Little One", and "Caught Me in Rollers." These songs are among those that producer Katia Valdeos chose for the collection, and they are arranged quite well. Each song is original and unique, and all are very upbeat in tone and styling. Two cover songs also appear on the album: "Rainbow Connection." made popular by Kermit of the Muppets, and a beautiful "Heal the World/We Are the World" medley. Both songs have fresh, new arrangements and are exceptionally performed.

Probably one of the more important tracks on the album is "Song for Erza," which was written for a little boy named Ezra who passed away of cancer at age two and a half. The track is moving and rather touching and a definite knob turner that makes you want to go back again and again to enjoy the track for all it is worth. The multi-layered vocals are full of intricate, refreshing harmonies, while the backing instrumentation is beautiful and downright entertaining.

Producer Katia Valdeos has done extensive production work on this release. Her creative genius guiding performance and song arrangements reflects caring, sensitivity, and creativity throughout the album.  Let it be known that "School of Fish," in its first month alone, placed at #4 on the Billboard West Central Heatseeker Regional chart, at #7 on Billboard's Atlantic South Heatseeker Regional chart, and managed to get a Hot Shot designation at #25 on a recent Kids Album chart, competing against major companies like Disney and even popular film soundtracks.

All the tracks on the “School of Fish” release are catchy and upbeat. They are full of originality making them engaging and meaningful, as well as fun loving. The listener can surely hear how much detail and care went into creating such a fine album. After playing "School of Fish" through a few times, the songs begin to grow on you, and you find yourself wanting to hear them again with hopes of some new material from this group. Perhaps some new World Nation songs will follow in the years to come.

While digital streaming is an option, physical copies of the album may be purchased via CD Baby or Amazon. The physical album includes some fine artwork within a 6-panel CD cover and 16-page booklet with the lyrics, photos, notes, and photos of the children and musicians featured on the album, as well as a photo of little Ezra! All in all, there is a nice mix of tracks that really makes "School of Fish" special - most of all, it is an album that both kids and adults will enjoy.

Sangeeta Kaur has released already four full-length albums but this fourth addition is a crossover album merely titled "Compassion". How is it exactly a crossover release, while it's been created with an elaborate orchestral and the choral magic of the Budapest Studio Orchestra, it's Budapest Studio Choir and Sterling Ensemble as well. Thus forth, it's raised her signature vocal works to levels that some would call "angelic". Sangeeta Kaur is an award winning singer/songwriter and producer to top of it off, but not only is she as such, she has worked with renowned composer and producer Nicolas Neidhardt, who is featured on the piano and keyboard. Providing choral compositions is Duy Tran and Danaë Vlasse. Together this group of crafty musicians have created something that is truly as the title calls it best "Compassion".

It's an album which provides such vocal efforts that Sangeeta Kaur's voice work is just truly emotional and deeply moving really. As it comes directly from the depths of her heart and soul. Bringing that altogether with such tracks as "Rise Up", "Transcendence", "May The Long Time Sun", and "We Are One", are just the grasp of reality that is purely sung within these tracks alone. The rest off this 10-track release are just as grand except these selections provided are more captivating.

The work done by the orchestrations and the like is flawless, capturing just so much at once. Melodic tone with harmonic guidance just make this album “Compassion”, just gripping and rather stunning at times even. There are just so many ways to put this album into a variety of wording it is hard not to name off every single one of them. It’s just how magically and mesmerizing it is with the performers and entertainers makes it shine on through.

As a whole “Compassion”, is an album of sorts that Sangeeta Kaur has made possible and probably one that many will adore and cherished as well. She has certainly made a fan out of me, after hearing the play through alone. The edginess, intensity, it all consumes the listener at ears length, really showcasing a rawness unlike any other band out there. When it comes down to it, these guys sound like a mixing between Arch Enemy crossed with Nervosa. It all fits together that the similarities are unique at times. Dani Macaco or Macaco has released his latest album to date titled "Civilized as Animals". The album contains an array assortment of 13-tracks, some of which are the like "No Nos Pararan", "Bailo la Pena", "Lo Quiero Todo", and "Valientes". Each of these being well balanced Latin infused pop rock with an edge of spiciness. It adds a heaviness without being extremely heavy as a metal act would be. Macaco is more or less, on the borderline of being gripping and meaningful. A lot of his works off this album and other material, is much like these tracks. Being very fulfilling yet gripping at times. The energy is welcoming yet pleasing as well. It’s a combination of being a lot like the Latin rock band Maná. Both styles are similar in a way, combining the same type of tone with the style of sound between the Latin influences and what not. It makes Macaco’s style very unique and shall we say creative and downright original too. That is just the music, his vocalization is captivating so much so, it makes the music more entertaining and energetic. No matter which way of these tracks or the others off "Civilized as Animals" play, it captures the same essence rather easily. He making music that all shall enjoy and never forget about. Releasing an all new album to boot, called "Other Songs", a lot of their classic works of songs, and those that may not get noticed so well, have been reinterpreted within this album of a release. Take an intimate way of using acoustic instrumentation as the base structure and you get an album that is fundamental at all costs and purely grounded. Such very few of the tracks off this album would include the like as "Comodin", "Al Vacio", "Chau", "Clara", and "Poco", to say some of the lot. Each one being original and really interesting to say the least. These playing off as being a lot like one another but very original as well. The energy of the music is catching and upbeat at all times of play. In other words, these tracks along with the rest, just keep the music in check and play at all times. Vocals and instruments are well played out, making the music soar, sounding very powerful and bracing at times. This Latin style of rock music is crafty yet very fun. The songs feel as a refresher upon hearing them, just taking in all the angst and performance tactics that make them stick.
