Filthy black metallers MUTILATION RITES will be blasting the speakers, and most likely some ear drums, during their record release show at Saint Vitus Bar in their hometown Brooklyn, NY on June 6. The performance, which will be presented by Signature Riff, will see the band playing alongside Horna and Kommandant in support of their new release “Empyrean,” which is available now for pre-order in advance of its May 22 release date. You can currently stream the full album -- which Decibel magazine praises for its “unity in songwriting, purpose, and passion” -- via Pitchfork.com.

Self-described "filthy black metal" group MUTILATION RITES have unveiled another new track, “Fogwarning,” from their Prosthetic debut “Empyrean,” due in stores May 22nd and available for pre-order now. The band stated, “'Fogwarning' is one of the last songs we wrote for 'Empyrean.' Schizophrenic black crust.” The track is now available for streaming at BrooklynVegan.com, alongside a new interview with the band which you can find HERE.

The Brooklyn group -- who previously debuted the track "Realms Of Dementia" via Pitchfork -- just embarked on a headlining tour which surrounds their appearance at the Gilead Media Music Fest in Osh Kosh, Wisc. on April 29th. The tour will conclude on May 5th in Cleveland, OH. The group's complete itinerary is below.
