Revolver, North America’s leading heavy music lifestyle media brand, and Inked Magazine, the leading tattoo lifestyle media brand, are pleased to announce a global marketing partnership in the Project M Digital Advertising Platform.

Revolver, North America’s leading heavy music media brand for the last 17 years, was purchased by digital media company Project M Group, LLC a year ago. Over the last six months, Project M has been focused on building a digital advertising platform and is now increasing the reach of this platform.

Project M is pleased to announce that they will now be partnering with Inked Magazine, the world’s leading tattoo lifestyle media brand for the past 14 years. This partnership will allow the Project M sales team to offer the digital advertising inventory of the publications across the platform of Quadra Media brands, including Inked Magazine, to advertisers globally.

Quadra media will bring their 5 million + monthly unique users and combined with Project M’s previously announced deal with Future PLC (Team Rock: Metal Hammer, Classic Rock, etc.) this will bring the current audience for the Project M Ad Platform to 10 million + monthly unique users and allow marketing partners access to over 50 million combined monthly impressions.

"At Project M we have been working hard to create a digital advertising platform that can provide advertisers premium content opportunities and broad reach across a range of affiliated and cohesive lifestyle brands in the heavy music space," explained Project M Group CEO Enrique Abeyta. "The addition of Quadra Media brands’ portfolio, highlighted by Inked Magazine, is a tremendous step forward in the reach of our platform and brings on board a well-respected brand with a massive and highly engaged audience. We look forward to unlocking the potential of this growing platform for marketing partners."

The world’s leading hard rock and metal media brands – REVOLVER and METAL HAMMER – are pleased to announce a global marketing partnership in the Project M Audience Access Platform.

REVOLVER – North America’s leading heavy music media brand for the last 17 years – was purchased by digital media company Project M Group, LLC earlier this year. Over the last six months, Project M has been focused on building an audience access platform as part of their digital ecosystem. This network is being led by Project M Digital COO Alvaro Gomez who formerly executed advertising networks for Complex, Martha Stewart OmniLiving and Interactive One.

Project M is pleased to announce that they will now be partnering with METAL HAMMER – Europe’s leading heavy music media brand for the last 31 years. This partnership will allow the Project M sales team to offer to advertisers the global digital audience of the publications across the TEAMROCK platform including METAL HAMMER, CLASSIC ROCK and PROG as well as Future plc’s music platform – MUSICRADAR. The combined reach of the platform will be more than 10 million monthly unique users across digital platforms.

“We believe this is an exciting opportunity for us to create a single platform for global advertisers to access the millions of passionate fans in the heavy music genre,” said Project M Group CEO Enrique Abeyta. “Project M has made major investments in building this platform and now we will be leveraging it to create a unique marketing partner across the global reach of REVOLVER, METAL HAMMER and the other publications on the Future plc platforms. We look forward to building on this relationship with the Future publications and announcing more partners joining this media platform soon.”

Barbarous hellhound, Cradle of Filth, will release its forthcoming album, Hammer of the Witches, on July 10 via Nuclear Blast. Today, the band has teamed up with Revolver to release a new song and lyric video, for "Deflowering the Maidenhead, Displeasuring the Goddess".

Frontman Dani Filth commented on the track: "'Deflowering the Maidenhead, Displeasuring the Goddess' is based on the ancient belief of the world personified as Mother Goddess, concerning itself with her self-preservative measures when assailed by her final abuse by the human race. Violated, poisoned and unknowingly left for dead, Gaia's is a pre-emptive, violent and justified retribution; without tears for creed or culture. Nature versus Mankind. A total renewal of species. The song spirals onward at a frenetic, apocalyptic pace to climax and was originally one of guitarist Ashok's contributions to the album, along with 'The Vampyre at My Side.'"

The song was produced by Cameron Mizell (A Skylit Drive, Memphis May Fire) and features some of their heaviest work yet. The video was directed by Kirill Osminin.

"'Virtual Privacy' shows Forget My Silence in a whole different light we feel . The song really shows how we've grown as a band, and how we've matured our sound while keeping to our roots. We all strongly believe the direction we're going with the new material will be much liked by our fans and the new listeners." - Roma Sadygov (Vocals).

Hollywood Industrial Rocker Davey Suicide has premiered the lyric video for "Grab A Gun And Hide Your Morals" on Revolvermag.com. The track is off of Davey's upcoming EP "Put Our Trust In Suicide" which comes out November 6, 2012 through Standby Records, and will also appear on the upcoming full length record due in early 2013. "I think it's important for people to believe in something because of it's teachings, not because they are scared of the consequence if they don't," Davey says of the track. You can watch "Grab A Gun And Hide Your Morals" HERE.

Revolver Magazine have launched the worldwide premiere of the new Throw The Fight music video for "Not So Hollywood"! Check it out at RevolverMag.com.  “Triple Threat Productions did a KILLER job producing the video. We had a great team going into this project and the whole experience was a ton of fun. All the people in this video are all close friends of the band, so that made everything that much more enjoyable. They made this video possible.” - Ryan Baustert (Guitar)

Rhode Island's THY WILL BE DONE recently completed work on a brand new EP that is slated for release later this summer. The band, renowned for their DIY approach, engineered the EP themselves and teamed up once again with acclaimed metal producer Zeuss to mix their six brand new studio tracks. With influences and roots that harkens the listener back to metal's glory days, and songs and arrangements that echo the voice of the oppressed and broken, the end result is a release that brings hope and far surpasses its predecessors, and in all aspects possesses the capabilities of cementing THY WILL BE DONE's position in the metal world. More details, including title and release date will be revealed in the coming weeks.  Check out a video preview for the EP HERE.

Frontman J. Costa spoke about the new song "You, The Apathy Divine":

"The song, 'You, The Apathy Divine' occurs in what is the proverbial middle of the EP and is a pivotal point of the recording with its own musical and lyrical intermezzo. For me, its timbre exudes the anguish and despair of someone dealing with infidelity after having just lost multiple relatives. That's what happened in my life and I needed to express it."

Today, Revolvermag.com hosts the exclusive premiere of “Scourge of Iron,” the third track off CANNIBAL CORPSE’s forthcoming slab of brutality, Torture, slated for North American release through Metal Blade Records on March 13, 2012.

Comments bassist Alex Webster of the new tune: “‘Scourge of Iron’ helps to show the song writing diversity on Torture. [First album single] ‘Demented Aggression’ is blazing fast and frantic, while ‘Scourge…’ is a down tempo, pounding song. They're both death metal, but at opposite ends of the speed spectrum. Expect to hear this kind of variety throughout Torture. We’ve utilized many different tempos, rhythms, and feels in these songs with the goal of making an album that is varied and dynamic but also very brutal. On March 13th you'll get to decide whether or not we succeeded.” Listen to “Scourge Of Iron” HERE.
