Emerging singer/songwriter Anna Pena is more than a red-haired, blue-eyed model with a beautiful smile. Her voice has captivated thousands of fans and viewers on YouTube and has paved the way for her forthcoming EP; The title is still in the works. Slated for release this summer, the EP is Anna's first musical recording. An avid YouTuber, she has created a dedicated fan base of over eight thousand subscribers who enjoy her weekly renditions of the industry's most popular songs: To check out her latest covers visit www.youtube.com/TripleThreatAnna.

Produced by Scott Byrne, the new project features five all-original tracks written by Anna. The songs on the EP offer an assortment of her musical styles with a piano driven doo-wop (jazzy) inspired song, an acoustic ballad, an upbeat folk pop song (ukulele), and songs that are more alternative pop rock. Her effortless vocal pitch highlights the natural talent and ability, both of which will take her far as an artist.

"The songs I wrote on my E.P are personal and have been written from my real experiences," says Anna. "The songs range from the subjects of getting through breakups, heartbreak, personal family struggles, and my own 'fickle heart'."

With a style somewhat reminiscent of Sara Bareilles, Christina Perri, and Tori Kelly, Anna Pena is a talented singer and songwriter in her own right. Trained in musical theater, choir, dance and acting, her drive and passion combined have helped her make it past the live celebrity auditions on America's Got Talent season 9. Known for her timeless renditions, Anna's musical presentation of Taylor Swift's "Style," Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" and Demi Lovato's "Warrior" remain a few of her most popular cover videos to date.

She grew up performing in musical theater. By the time she was ten, Anna had performed shows at Casa Manana and Bass Performance Hall. She attended a fine arts high school as a teen and is continuing to train in piano, voice, acting and songwriting at Septien Entertainment Group in Dallas, Texas.

Hailing from Dallas, TX, Anna Pena has it all &mdash training and experience in singing, songwriting, film, TV, theater, stage performance, instruments, and dance. Attending professional lessons for all of her talents and a fine arts performing school have assisted Anna on her journey to singing stardom. Recruited to sing onstage with child star, Gregg Russell was one of the many moments that made the young talent realize, the stage was her true home. Making it past the live celebrity audition on America's Got Talent boosted Anna to run full force at her dreams. Currently, the multi-talented modeling bombshell is set to release her first EP this summer. As a creative genius who puts her heart and soul into each of her original songs, Anna Pena will quickly be on everyone's radar.

After spending the last two years in live development, Arena is pleased to introduce its artist-friendly streaming music service Listen To Own.

The company’s Listen To Own hybrid ownership model expands upon Arena’s advertised premium artist payouts of $0.21 and $0.01 per stream -- figures well above the industry standard rates commercial web broadcasters like Pandora, Spotify, Beats Music, and YouTube are able to pay - by using a unique approach intended to regenerate consumer interest in owning music.

Once a listener plays any participating single song 5 times, Arena gives the listener the MP3 file to download and own while paying the artist $0.85, in addition to the $0.21 for the 5 streams, as if the listener had purchased the song to own directly. By combining traditional download revenue with premium stream payouts, artists are able to earn a potential $1.90 per track per listener - roughly twice what the iTunes download store could pay for the same purchase.

Essentially, Arena allows listeners to access commercial free playlists from today’s most popular touring, and up-and-coming, acts without a monthly subscription, all while providing a platform for artists to maximize their revenue options.

"Listen To Own makes it easy to picture what the transition to an economically viable and artist-friendly streaming model looks like while maintaining the historic understanding of what a sellable music 'unit' is in today's marketplace," says Damon Evans, Founder and CEO of Arena. "We can say with a high level of confidence that it no longer matters how many albums an artist has sold. All that matters now is how many listeners that artist can convert into owners."

Arena is aimed to address and satisfy both the desires of music listeners and the needs of music artists.

In order for artists to participate, they must request an invite. If accepted, the artist is required to sell merchandise through the platform and pay a one-time setup fee per project, which can be deferred depending on how well the project ranks on criteria such as originality, recording quality, professionalism, musicianship, and marketability.

Listeners are encouraged to actively participate. In addition to streaming commercial free playlists and downloading music, registered users can submit fan reports on their local music scene, post original video content, and even write music reviews for Arena sales credits, which can be used to redeem merchandise, music, and movies.

FEAR FACTORY has released a special trailer that is a visual preview into the story behind their forthcoming new album, The Industrialist. Set for release June 5, The Industrialist is the second album written by vocalist Burton C. Bell and guitarist Dino Cazares since reuniting in 2009 after a seven-year split. An audio snippet for the album’s lead single, “Recharger,” is now available at the band’s official YouTube page; the single is available via iTunes, Amazon and other online retailers beginning April 24.

As previously announced, The Industrialist is a conceptual record based around a short fiction written by Bell; lyrics to the album’s ten songs divulge the narrative as discussed recently by Bell with Decibel Magazine. The album will be available on three formats – standard CD, a limited edition deluxe digi-book (featuring two additional songs), and 180-gram double vinyl. Pre-orders for the album in all formats will be available shortly via Candlelight Records’ official webstore.

Bell notes, “the protagonist (The Industrialist) is the incarnation of all industries in the form of an automaton. The mechanical, technological, and scientific advances through the industrial age led to the creation of The Industrialist. In the story, the automaton becomes sentient as it collects memories with each passing day. Through observation and learning, it gains the will to exist. What was meant to help man, will eventually be man’s demise.”

The Industrialist follows the 2010 release of Mechanize. Widely regarded, the album was the first release from FEAR FACTORY in six years. Mechanize debuted on Billboard’s Top 100 album chart week of release and topped CMJ’s Loud Rock radio chart as programmers embraced the band’s triumphant return. Sirius XM and Headbangers Ball’s host Jose Mangin noted, “after Mechanize dominated 2010 as Liquid Metal’s Album Of The Year, North America is chompin’ at the bit to get an ear full of new Fear Factory. I have no doubt that FEAR FACTORY are going to kick our collective asses in 2012.”

Members of FEAR FACTORY are currently in Los Angeles rehearsing for upcoming performances in South America followed by their first U.S. tour since late 2010. Bell and Cazares presented members of Slipknot the “Comeback Of The Year” award last week at the 4th Annual Revolver Golden God Awards; an award they were nominated for in 2010. Xbox broadcast the program, including pre-ceremony black carpet interviews, to all game console owners; Revolver Magazine streamed the event live via their Facebook page. Rebroadcast information will be announced by Revolver Magazine shortly.
