All donations from the streams will go directly to United for Puerto Rico to assist with hurricane relief efforts. $1 from all ticket sales in Detroit and Philadelphia will go to United for Puerto Rico (via Plus 1).

Pretty Lights Live ran a similar campaign earlier this fall for their September 29-30 Whitewater Amphitheater performance in New Braunfels, TX. That campaign generated an estimated $55,238 in contributions from live stream donations and $1 from each ticket sale went to assist Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts. Thank you for your support!

The rock/alternative group His Dream of Lions, formulated their name after Ernest Hemingway's novel "The Old Man and The Sea," because of the ambitious spirit and moral intent of the main character's reoccurring dreams. With that being said, the four young rockers love the thrill of chasing their dreams. Having known one another through the local Fairfax, Virginia music scene, guitarist Nick Jones, and singer Seth Coggeshall came together during the spring of 2012 to form the band. After a period of relentless gigging and writing, the band's lineup was finalized with the addition of bassist Justin Mason and keyboardist Colby Witko in 2013 with the release of their EP's "Part One", and "Part Two". Following the "Part One/Two", record cycle, His Dream Of Lions moved forward in the summer of 2015 to record and release their self-titled EP. Leading up to the record's release the band released a music video for "Danger Close" which debuted on Fuse seem HERE.

Following their tumultuous journey thus far, the band just announced their brand new EP, Pseudo Star, due out February 2018 engineered, mixed, and mastered by Ben Green at Ivakota Studios. Off the forthcoming EP comes their new single "Love Me Like I'm Sick." Reminiscent of acts like Fun., COIN, and Colony House, the track features a sound that is a departure from the band's pop/rock style with new kinds of synths and drum sounds. Check out the brand new video, exclusively with Baeble Music right HERE and be sure to pre-order the brand new EP HERE.

The band's lead singer, Seth Coggeshall had this to say about the EP: "Pseudo Star is about that feeling. It captures that feeling not only with the subject matter of the songs, but also in the tonal extremes the record sits in between. Pseudo Star is funny, yet serious. It can at times be epic, and other times intimate. We're playing fun rock music that has moments that sound really empowering. However the lyrics, and the sentiments in the songs don't portray a confident or powerful person. Instead I sound unsure, and a little self-deprecating. Despite all this though, the point of Pseudo Star isn't to encourage listeners to revel in self-doubt, or self-pity. It's about effort in the face of uncertainty. It's hard to know where you're heading. And maybe we will always feel like were at the halfway point. Always feel like a Pseudo Star...But Pseudo Stars still shine, and that's more than enough reason to press on."

In addition, the band is currently on the road. For all tour dates, see below!

As 2017 comes to an end and 2018 just around the corner, dungeon and dragons enthusiasts NORDHEIM announce "The New Year of Warriors" New Year's Day show with Trollwar in Quebec City at L'Anti Bar. The January 1st concert will see the band perform their new album "RapThor" live for the first time. With a simple philosophy of making fun folk metal and good times, the band comments on the upcoming event.

“When we play live it’s a frickin’ party! We move a lot, scream, hump the air, we drink from the fans’ beer bottles and in turn, we feed them beer, with the help of our friends and roadies coming up on stage and pouring beer in their faces. Usually between songs we’ll be making jokes about anything we can think of, as long as it’s dumb and incoherent! We have a strong sense of ‘bro-ness’ with our fans!”

Full details for the event can be found HERE.

So Far Left, a band formed in Corona, California, has announced their break up and final show! Find out what they had to say about everything below,

"8 years ago a little band was formed in Corona California. Through all the years all of us have played a lot of cool shows, met a lot of cool bands and most importantly met a great amount of friends while being in So Far Left. We all want to thank anyone who has ever bought a shirt, downloaded an album of ours, came to support us at a show and get rowdy with us or even taken the time to listen to a shitty demo we have handed out at a local show. Now it is time to move to the next chapter in all our lives, musically and personally. We will be playing our last show as a band on December 7th at the Slide Bar in downtown Fullerton, California with @redeemrevive and @theworldoverofficial if you want to see us live for the last time ever, we would love to see you all come out to this one. Again we want to thank you all for all the love you have shown this band these past 8 years. #sofarleft #rip"

Wardruna's leader, Einar Selvik, released a solo EP earlier this month. Snake Pit Poetry is a ten-minute EP that contains an acoustic version, as well as the complete studio version, of his much-requested piece "Snake Pit Poetry," written for History Channel's beloved TV show Vikings. Limited 10" Snake Pit Poetry vinyls with etched B-side will be on sale on the upcoming North American tour and at retail on February 2, and are currently available online HERE. We hope that many people will come and support us as well as spread the word and we hope that this is only the first of many American tours in the time to come!"

The band will play a second Montreal date at The Corona Theater—which is now sold out—as is its Washington, DC date. Romantic Rock is pleased to announce that their Punk Rock & Paintbrushes Holiday Art Show will be returning to Los Angeles, CA for its second year. Celebrating the fine art of creatives who share a passion for both music and art, Punk Rock & Paintbrushes Holiday Art Show will feature artwork from Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio and Blink-182, Chali 2NA of Jurassic 5, Hunter Burgan of AFI, Warren Fitzgerald of The Vandals, Matt Hensley of Flogging Molly, Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal, Jennie Cotterill of Bad Cop / Bad Cop, professional skateboarders Steve Caballero and Paul Kobriger, and artists Natalia Fabia, Hunter Freese, Danny Greene and Soma Snakeoil. Each artist will have multiple original pieces, prints, and much more.

The opening night and artist reception will occur in Los Angeles on Friday, December 15th from 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and will feature music from resident DJs and special guest DJs throughout the night, a full bar, photo booth, red carpet, and more. This event is free and open to all ages, but RSVP is required. To RSVP, please visit: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/punk-rock-paintbrushes-los-angeles-tickets-39916555492.

Matt Skiba comments, “I’m thrilled to be showing this round of my art with such beautiful friends and some amazing artists. Some of the new stuff is inspired by the scrawl on a childhood friend’s trapper-keeper as I remember it. He was super into death metal and was considered a ‘burner’ and ‘trouble’. They used those terms like they were a bad thing. I used lines from lyrics I’ve been writing recently combined with my friend’s graffiti. I want my new stuff to convey Hessian graffiti and ‘ignorant art’.”

Emily T. Nielson, founder of both Romantic Rock and Punk Rock & Paintbrushes explains, “Punk Rock & Paintbrushes came into my life as a surprise two years ago with the desire to share my friend's art with the world. I feel very privileged to work with each of these amazing and talented artists. We must continue to create art to share our personal life and feelings with the world but through the strokes of a paintbrush...all the while being punk rock.”

To honor the late Greg Escalante, who was a co-founder of Juxtapoz Magazine, gallerist, champion of lowbrow art, and a shared inspiration and mentor for many of the participating artists, the Punk Rock & Paintbrushes Holiday Art Show is supporting Alexandria House, a non-profit safe shelter for women and children. To support, Mad Twins Art has created limited edition screen prints for the show, that will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Alexandria House. Additionally, each artist will be contributing an art piece for an Alexandria House mural, with all proceeds supporting Alexandria House's efforts.

Pam Hope, Director of Special Events and Corporate Giving for Alexandria House says, “From its very beginnings, Alexandria House has been an experiment in partnering with new eyes as we worked side-by-side with caring individuals and a variety of community groups. We are thrilled to work together with Punk Rock & Paintbrushes and their artists and musicians to bring the needs of women and children experiencing homelessness to the fore and also honoring the the life and legacy of Greg Escalante.”

The gallery, located at 1499 Artemus Street in Los Angeles, CA, will house this group art exhibition throughout the weekend and is open on Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17 from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Sponsors for Punk Rock & Paintbrushes Holiday Art Show include: Vans Footwear, Fat Wreck Chords, Deep Eddy Vodka, Transworld Skateboarding, and KROQ.

Gothenburg-based metal heavyweights IN FLAMES surprise fans with a four-track covers EP “Down, Wicked & No Good” out today on streaming platforms worldwide during SOLD OUT hometown show at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden.

To debut their cover of Depeche Mode’s 1997 hit single “It’s No Good”, In Flames are taking over Depeche Mode’s Facebook page for the entire day today, releasing exclusive content and a new video for the song - watch HERE.

The panoptic covers collection also includes In Flames versions of Alice In Chains’ “Down In A Hole,” Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game,” and a live bonus version of Nine Inch Nails’ “Hurt”. It sees the Swedish quintet expanding beyond metal to incorporate the group’s varied musical taste and expansive sonic range.

“We’ve been fans of Depeche Mode since we were as young as 10. Getting to do our rendition of ‘It’s No Good’ showed us a different side of the song – it brought new meanings to us. We relate to the lyrics and power of the song so heavily that it almost feels as if we could have written it ourselves. They’re a band that we’ve always looked up to. Growing up, you either listened to Pop, Synths or Rock and even though we are a metal band, Depeche Mode inspired a lot of the electronic elements we use in our music today.”

Earlier this week, the Swedish icons IN FLAMES kicked off a 25 date Co-Headline arena tour with American heavyweights, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and special guests OF MICE & MEN in Helsinki. Watch an exclusive clip from the show HERE.

Tickets for the package are flying out the door. With many dates including Paris, Stockholm, Oslo and Prague already sold out and several others major cities approaching sell out quickly, the tour has become this Autumn’s hottest European arena rock show ticket. On November 13 and 14, on the fifth anniversary of their major-label debut, SILENT SIREN held the final Japanese performances of their 26-show tour, “5th ANNIVERSARY SILENT SIREN LIVE TOUR 2017 — The New World” at Nippon Budokan. Following their Nippon Budokan debut on January 17, 2015, this was the all-female band’s second appearance at Japan’s rock mecca, this time holding a back-to-back two-day event.

On November 13th, the first day of the “Miracle” event, SILENT SIREN played a set centered around the defining songs of their five-year history since their major-label debut, also including rare songs reaching back to their formation two years before that. The band ended their show with a crowd-pleasing encore of “Fujiyama Disco”, their first single released from Universal EMI Records in March earlier this year.

On the second day of the event, November 14th, which marked their official fifth anniversary date, the show opened with “Fujiyama Disco,” transporting the audience to the closing moments of the night before and picking up the energy of the event right where they left off.

The lights came up on a stage transformed into a massive sailing vessel and revealing the four performers, Suu (vocals, guitar), Ainyan (bass), Hinanchu (drums), and Yukarun (keyboard) dressed as navy sailors in white uniforms. Suu kicked-off the show by shouting to the crowd, “Let’s all make tonight a night of miracles!”

With those exciting words, SILENT SIREN surprised the crowd by playing hit tunes that were not included in the line-up the day before, such as “Yoshida San”, “What show is it?”, and “Soukai Rock”.

At center stage, a familiar sight to all SILENT SIREN concert-goers, was the “Sai-Sai Corner”, where band members played a variety of games in between performances. In the heated final showdown, Suu and Ainyan were defeated and agreed to participate in a “Giant Crocodile Challenge” as punishment at a later date.

During the song “Awa-Awa,” where the audience participated in the fun and famously cheerful dance, Kuro-chan from the Japanese comedy trio Yasuda Dai Circus made a surprise guest appearance as an Awa-Awa dancer.

SILENT SIREN filled the night’s concert with popular songs they’ve released since their label change, such as the joyful winter song, “Fuyumegu”, “AKANE”, “Kaleidoscope”, and their latest single, “Just Meet”. For the climax of the show, the band and their fans turned Nipppon Budokan into a giant dance floor with “DanceMusiQ,” followed by their world-famous song “Cherry Bomb”.

Suu then addressed the crowd to speak about the reason they named their tour “The New World” – “Life is a journey and you never know what’s going to happen. But once you overcome all that troubles you, that angers you, and that makes you sad, what you’ll find waiting for you on the other side is a happy place — a ‘New World’. We want to keep looking forward and continue to do our best to take you all to that special place.”

To end their set, they performed “Sinbad”, a special unreleased song they’ve only ever performed live, as the voices of the audience singing the chorus together echoed through the concert hall.

For the encore, Suu yelled out, “We have a super poppy song for you all!” and performed a new unreleased song called “PaPaYaPaYaPa”, followed by the high-energy “Bii-san” to end the fifth anniversary celebration.

SILENT SIREN WORLD TOUR 2017 “The New World” extends next month with their return to the United States for concerts in Hollywood (Dec. 1) and San Francisco (Dec. 3). VIP packages are available including handshakes, a photo, and an exclusive souvenir.

On December 27th, SILENT SIREN will release their fifth album, GIRLS POWER, which will be their first album release from Universal EMI, and their first full album in almost two years.

Additionally, on January 10th, 2018, the band will perform their first solo concert of the new year, called “SILENT SIREN New Year Live 2018 ~ The year of the dog ~” at Shibuya’s TSUTAYA O-EAST. The following month, on February 11th, they will hold a live event called “SILENT SIREN SAI-FAM VS. SAI-SAI” at Tokyo-EX THEATER ROPPONGI.

SILENT SIREN also announced that they will kick off their 32-show cross-country “Girls will be Bears Tour” on March 18th. From the many great experiences that the SILENT SIREN performers had thanks to the undying support from SAI-FAM (“SAI-SAI Family” = SILENT SIREN fans), SILENT SIREN’s ship continues to sail toward with countless “miracles” toward “A New World,” and toward their tenth anniversary performance.

Formed in the wake of Type O Negative and Seventh Void, SILVERTOMB is the latest musical endeavor of guitarist-vocalist Kenny Hickey (Type O Negative, Seventh Void, drummer Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Danzig), bassist Hank Hell (Seventh Void, Inhuman) along with New York City hardcore veteran Joseph James, (Agnostic Front, Inhuman) on guitar, and Aaron Joos (Awaken The Shadow, Empyreon) on keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals.

Silvertomb combine the musical styles of bands such as Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath with a bone crushing, mind blowing sonic experience. Kenny Hickey describes the sound of Silvertomb as "heavy, dark and spiritual - like a dark gospel."

That being said, the band has announced two all new shows! One taking place November 24th and the other falling on December 8th of 2017! Find the details upon both of the show's posters above and below!

It’s no secret that 2017 has been a huge year for Twiztid and their massive underground label empire, Majik Ninja Entertainment. From signing huge rappers like Young Wicked and L.A.R.S. (Bizarre of D12 and King Gordy), to representing at New York Comic Con and even announcing their own pop culture convention, Astronomicon, Majik Ninja is truly changing the game, expanding outside of the music world into crossover culture while growing more indisputable every minute.

And let us not forget one of the biggest accomplishments of them all – each and every album that has been released via Majik Ninja Entertainment in 2017 has hit the charts. Every. Single. One.

In celebration of this year’s accomplishments and the underground’s brightest music stars, Twiztid and Majik Ninja Entertainment are giving back to supporters just in time for the holidays with the release of their upcoming full-length label showcase album, Twiztid Presents: Year Of The Sword. Long running Orange County, CA Triple Axe Attack, LEATHERWOLF, will be teaming up with Sunset Strip peers ODIN for an afternoon show on Saturday, November 18 at the Slidebar in Fullerton, CA.  It will be the band's first Southern California show with new guitarist Luke Man who unterwent his live baptism of fire during a recent UK run of dates. Man joins original LEATHERWOLF members, Michael Olivieri and Dean Roberts, guitarist Rob Math, and long-time bassist Patrick Guyton.

Says Olivieri: "Lots of people have been inquiring about us playing L.A. over the past months and now we finally got a show for all you SoCal headbangers. And, it's a freebie to boot so don't miss this one!  We wanted to do this much sooner but as those of you who keep tabs on us know we've had a couple guitar player changes which put a wrench into us doing shows.  We've since done a UK tour with our new guy, Luke (Man), who came through with flying colors and proved to be a great fit on and off stage.  So we're really looking forward to unveiling the new and improved line-up live and kicking out the jams!  And with ODIN sharing the bill with us, it's gonna be a double dose of glorious 80's heavy metal nostalgia - can you believe we last played together 32 years ago at the Palace in Hollywood?!  Crazy how time flies!  We hope to see you guys at the Slidebar, and don't forget - the madness gets under way at 3pm."

LEATHERWOLF recently released "The Calling" video, the latest in a series of clips filmed at the band's celebrated 2015 Keep It True festival appearance in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany.  The audio track was mixed by legendary producer/engineer Chris Tsangarides (JUDAS PRIEST, THIN LIZZY, Y&T) at Ecology Room Studios in Kent, England and mastered by Tom Baker (JUDAS PRIEST, ALICE COOPER, AVENGED SEVENFOLD) at Baker Mastering in Calabasas, CA.  The clip can be viewed on the band's YouTube channel at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ag38UZKFndI
