Russia's best kept Southern metalcore secret Grizzly Knows No Remorse has released a live studio session. The video features songs off the band's recent album Fat Glasses and the Leather Mustache.

"We thought that the new material is good enough to be heard not just as it is, but live too," says vocalist Andrew Lockjaw. "The experience was pretty rough yet fun as well. We made a lot of takes for each song since we needed a lot of different video angles and stuff. Every single take we played each song again and again so it was like playing a 20 song show basically. We wanted to thank Max Samosvat - the sound engineer and producer for the really hard and awesome work at his studio - The Meat Factory. Also, we wanted to thank Dan and his boys from DAD Films for shooting and montaging everything. Those guys are golden. Hope everyone will enjoy the show."

Art Of Anarchy have released a new video for "Time Every Time". The band itself consists of legendary vocalist, Scott Weiland, along with lead guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses) and bassist John Moyer (Disturbed). The song comes off the group’s highly accliamed debut, self-titled offering released through Another Century this past June.

The band started out of an 18-year friendship between Bumblefoot and the Votta brothers, dating back to the local New York music scene. Jon Votta approached Bumblefoot with the idea of putting together a unique new rock band that would have people talking.  They knew Weiland would be the ideal singer to handle the band’s musical diversity.  Once Weiland was on-board, the band was completed by the aggressive, precise, melodic bass of career-rocker John Moyer.

Art of Anarchy has emerged as a band willing to eradicate musical borders in pursuit of something brilliant.  For these legendary members, it’s all about songwriting and musicianship, which the band proudly displays on its self-titled debut album.  The band also sees Weiland returning to his hard rock roots with a harder-edged sound than any of his previous efforts.

Mix and matchers A Holy Sin are currently in the studio writing out the finishing touches for their debut EP release. The band has already plans set for them to play some shows, while still doing time in the studio, with even further plans on releasing not one, but two, singles and a video! The entire band got together to discuss this entire process.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The list of past and present members goes on haha so I'll keep it as short as possible with some background! It started with Jim Peralta (Present Drums), Aaron Lopez (Present Lead Guitar), Juan Gonzales (Past Vocals, Drums, Bass), & Joshua Kelser (Past Bass). Fast forward two years after, 2014, the last official line up was me, Adrian Figueroa (Lead Vocals), Aaron Lopez ( Lead Guitar), Oscar Figueroa (Rhythm Guitar), Jim Peralta (Drums), Christian Chaos (Back Up Vocals) & Juan Gonzales (Bass). We took a big hit within the last month being that Oscar and Juan have left us as a four piece now so yeah we're currently looking for a new guitarist since Chris is now on Bass.

2. What's the origin of the band's name?

A Holy Sin comes from sort of a Yin and Yang concept in that there's a good and bad side to everyone or that there's some good (the holy) people who do bad things (sin) or vise versa bringing up the name.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We're based in El Monte, CA. The music scene here is mainly oriented around Punk & Ska so that leaves us out of any gigs that happen around here. Don't get me wrong, the music is good but we don't get any recognition here so we took it onto ourselves to move AHS out and make a name for ourselves in places like Anaheim, Long Beach, Hollywood, Riverside & Santa Ana. But of course it wouldn't have been possible without the help of promoters like Michael Black (Dead Sea Records) & Ben Burt and the gang from Pirate Entertainment who've booked us se epic shows! We'd definitely recommend you guys check out bands like Ninth Plague, 'Til Skies Fall, Within Reach, Defile the Oracle, Anatomy, Decay., & Asylus!

4. How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?

To be honest, I wouldn't really know how to describe our style because we have a mix of styles in our songs haha! Some of our influences are; Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Avenged Sevenfold, Chelsea Grin, and As Blood Runs Black etc.

5. Where are you in the recording process of the new EP?

We've been putting in a ton of time working on this EP and it's still in the writing progress. But, as for the songs we've already had written and nailed down, we've taken them into the studio and recorded them but we've also had many difficulties we wish not to discuss but can say led to a MAJOR delay in the release of any material.

6. Will you be releasing a new single to accompany this EP release? Will a video follow suit?

Of course! We have not one but two singles that will accompany this release and yes, a studio music video will come along with the release of one of the tracks!

7. When can we expect the new EP to be released?

Sadly I cannot say or give any info about these release dates yet due to the fact that last year we promised our fans some material but never came through. I've said too much already hahaha!

8. Have you been road testing any of the new material? If so, how have audiences reacted to the new material?

Yes we have, so far with the songs we have gotten down from the EP we'll be releasing, they've had an outstanding reaction from the crowd! We also wrote a new song recently which the crowds seem to enjoy and it only makes us happy to see what reaction our newer material will get.

9. Can you tell us about your next set of shows/tours and why we should be there?

Our next set of shows are:

August 14th// TBA
August 16th// Back to School Show w/ Pirate Ent. @ Malone's concert venue, Santa Ana, CA

We do plan on having more shows but these are what's been booked so far, and our reason why everyone should be there is because every show ALWAYS without a doubt has a great lineup, we put more energy into every performance and we get to meet everyone there!

10. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Our plans for the future are number one to get our EP done, recorded and put out for everyone to listen and enjoy! Play as many shows and travel out of state to let people know who A Holy Sin is!

 11. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Oh, the question that kills us the most haha. Sadly, we can't yet give any form of link to any music we have due to not having anything out yet. *sad face*

 12. What is it you'd like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Remember, we put so much time into the music and since you're most likely watching us live, we're pouring our hearts into this performance so MOVE!

Devil Gone Public unveils their new music video for the single “Ghosttown” off of the EP Fearful Symmetry. The video features heavy metal imagery mashed with clips of the band rockin’ in a Florida field. The song “Ghosttown” is a groove metal track reminiscent of heavy southern bands such as Down and Corrosion of Conformity. The video is now up on YouTube and their EP Fearful Symmetry is available now at devilgonepublic.bandcamp.com.

Based out of Sarasota, Florida the heavy metal band consists of Garrett Connor Moore on vocals, Alex Rappaport on guitar, Kenny Iversen on bass, and Brandon Thrift on drums. The group is influenced and has a similar style to bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, and Pantera. After forming in April of 2014, the band quickly gained a loyal fan base by performing many shows around the South West Florida area and earning opening slots with bands such as He Is Legend, Maylene and The Sons of Disaster, and Wilson. The band is eager to find new touring opportunities to build up their fan base.

Metalcore outfit The Animal In Me are based out of San Francisco, California, with dueling male and female vocalists, the band is often described as "If Paramore and Memphis May Fire released a collaborative album" by fans and friends alike. That said, the band has released a debut EP then of course found themselves on tour, playing shows here and there. All of this has lead down, to them self-releasing their debut full-length "Words + Actions", causing more touring and shows to commence with further plans on even more tunes! Frontwomen vocalist Laura Vierra discusses this release and plans ahead!

1.Let's talk a little about the history of the band. When did you originally form and is this the original line-up?

Laura: We started doing music together in late 2011. We became The Animal In Me in 2012. Shane, Daniel, and I are the three original members. We have friends play drums and guitar for us on tour. Our original drummer Nay still tours with us frequently even though he is not a member full time.

2. Do you remember how the idea of forming the band first came up?

Laura: Shane and I used to play acoustic shows around town, malls, coffee shops etc. We started writing heavier music and wanted to get a band together. Shane and Daniel worked together and that's how Daniel started playing bass. Both have been in previous bands and know a lot of musicians. It wasn't long until we had a full line up.

3. How did the name of the band come into the picture and does the name refer to what it says, The Animal In Me. Are you referring to something like there is an animal in all of us type of thing?

Laura: We were originally called Deadlines and Diamonds, a year into playing our managers at the time wanted us to change our name. As long as they didn't want us to change the music we were cool with it. Nay being a big Mötley Crüe fan came up with The Animal in Me. And yes, we think everyone has some sort of 'animal' drive, passion within them!

4. What's with the dueling male and female vocalists? Why go with this concept and do you think it suits the band well or would you want to stick to one style over the other?

Laura: TAIM wouldn't be a band without our two vocals. If we were to choose one over the other, than we'd be an entirely different project. Shane also sings, so live we do harmonies together as well. I mean, I tried kicking him out but we live together so it was kind of tough haha just kidding. But I wouldn't have it any other way! We love our music.

5. What is your latest album and why should people buy it?

Laura: Our new album Words + Actions actually drops July 28th! We are beyond excited and can't wait! It has the heaviness and catchiness of TAIM that our fans are familiar with, but it also has great ballads and pop aspects as well. We hope people respond well to it!

6. Where did you record your latest release at? Who was chosen to produce the record?

Laura: We recorded our new album at our home studio, Monsterbox Studios. Shane actually records and produces all of our music!

7. Tell us about your experience in the studio recording the new record? Do you think the band was comfortable in the studio?

Laura: We put a lot of hard work into this new album. We were on a time crunch since we were only home for a month in between tours. We worked day and night to write and record everything before we had to leave, on top of creating the art work and ordering all of copies, since the release date is while we're on the road. Shane was literally sick from lack of sleep, and I work 40 hours a week at home. So our schedule was crazy before we hit the road! Not the ideal circumstance but we made it happen!

8. How would you say that the title and album art relate to the music on the album?

Laura: We've had an accidental yet continuing theme with our cd art work. Our first full length Who's Laughing Now, we saw mannequins outside of a dumpster and Shane snapped some pictures of them. He was able to photo shop the images to look awesome! We did the same for our sophomore album Words + Actions.

9. What's your favorite song on the album right now?

Laura: My favorite song off of our new album has to be 'Chasing Dreams'. It's a great ballad that our fans will be surprised by I think, and the lyrics are very personal for me. You'll have to check it out when it's released!

10. What does "Words + Actions" mean to you all?

Laura: We've dealt with a lot of people in this business who say one thing and do the exact opposite. Actions speak louder than words as we all know. So we simply titled our new release Words + Actions.

11. How about shows and touring, what are the plans for partaking in this line of activity?

Laura: We're on our 13 tour now and have played many shows. We are so blessed to travel around and share our music! We have our own van and trailer to travel in which is a must. Maybe one day we'll have a bus!

12. What other plans do you have for this year?

Laura: We definitely plan on touring off of our new release. No set plans yet when we get home from the Crossroads Tour, but we have some things in the works!

13. Any last words for the friends and fans out there?

Laura: We are so thankful to all of our fans friends and families who have supported us! We hope to continue to tour and write music for as long as we can! TAIM THE WORLD!

Bay Area natives and thrash metal band Hatchet are set to release their highly anticipated third studio album Fear Beyond Lunacy on October 30, 2015 via The End Records/ADA.

This follow-up to 2013's acclaimed Dawn Of The End will debut the new Hatchet lineup behind founding member, vocalist, and lead guitarist, Julz Ramos: Clayton Cagle on guitar, Kody Barba on bass, and Ben Smith on drums. The new members have injected the band with a surge of raw energy, and fans of Hatchet will be overly satisfied with this revived enthusiasm laid into the recordings.

Says Ramos, “We felt ‘The World Beyond’ was a good all around track to introduce fans to the new album. It has a good mixture of both fast and mid-tempo pacing with some cool gang chants in the verse. It isn't the fastest or the most melodic on the album either so we wanted people to get a taste but not give away the whole brewery up front. It only leads to good things from here!"

When discussing the album artwork for Fear Beyond Lunacy Ramos adds, “We're excited to finally be revealing our cover art for our third studio album. The artwork was done by Andrej Bartulovic from All Things Rotten who also did our previous album cover for Dawn Of The End. The artwork depicts what I see us becoming as a modern society. A society of fear engrossed, media addicted slaves. We are constantly hooked on what our media and TVs are feeding us to believe to be true and what we should be afraid of today, tomorrow, next month/year etc.. I feel this is particularly true with Americans. There is always some big conspiracy happening or natural disaster predicted by someone hundreds of years ago that everyone in some form or another seems to live their lives in fear of. It's getting out of hand and that's what this picture represents; someone who is ultimately driven insane by this and where we can all be heading if we are not careful."

TRACKLISTING:

1. Where Time Cannot Exist
2. Living In Extinction
3. Lethal Injustice
4. In Fear We Trust
5. Killing Indulgence

8. Prophet Of Delusion

10. Frozen Hell (bonus track)
11. Awaiting Evil (bonus track) **

Both the band and the label are excited about this new partnership!

"I am very happy to work with one of my absolute favorite American bands, FOR TODAY. This band is unique in their mission, style and message. Los Angeles based Metal band The Augments Project have released their "Awaken" music video off their new EP of the same name, available now through Bandcamp HERE. The video was written by Jimmy Trigger, directed by Jimmy Trigger & Brian Cox, and filmed and edited by Brian Cox. The track is also available for free download on the band's Reverb Nation page HERE.

The track "Awaken" was the first song we all wrote together, so it holds special weight for us all. The ideology of the band is for us all to shine in our skill sets, and I think that happened. The result: something fresh & new but hinting that old skool influence. "Awaken" is an aggressive song, that got me to delve into emotions that I haven't visited in quite a while. The song deals with the turmoil's of life and doing our best to succeed regardless. There are a lot of metaphors in each song, but some are very real (Take this noose around my neck that binds me to my lives regrets). You can decide, I guess. The end result should always be a PMA view point, or PMMA (positive mental motherfuckin attitude) as i say. - Jimmy Trigger (The Augments Project).

Check out the video HERE.

Country music artist Charlie Bonnet III released a single that sparked interest in everyone. Soon after, an album would follow through, led by shows, tours, and further plans for more activity. Charlie Bonnet III himself discusses his single, album, and plans ahead!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

CB3: First off, thank you for the interview!  I am Charlie Bonnet III, known by the fans as CB3, and I am a Nashville based solo artist and songwriter.  I've been working on my craft for a couple decades now actually, and have had projects in the past on a national scale, namely Disarray, a hardcore band in the 90's and early 2000's that was signed to Eclipse Records.  Years later I was the lead guitar player for Big Smo, a Warner Brothers act that does hip hop music.  When that ran its course I co-founded another band called Moccasin Creek, which lasted about four years before lack of proper management and lack of business structure destroyed it.  Now I have a solo band called Charlie Bonnet III and The Rebel Ways Band, and we do songs from all the eras of my history, plus new solo material.  It's a lot of fun, and I have a great bunch of guys jamming with me.  My drummer and second guitarist, Travis Ashley and Adam Farris, have played together for years in a country rock band called 4 Miles Gone, so they have a pretty solid chemistry.  On bass we have Ceth Carter, who was a big Disarray fan, and who has followed me for 20 plus years.  He asked to audition for the band, and pretty much came in there and killed it on the first day, so we signed him up!

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

CB3: Rebel Ways is the name of my fan club on Facebook actually.  My last band wasn't very active towards the end of 2014, so I was doing a lot of acoustic shows during that time, and a super fan by the name of Bob Adams drove to one of the Tennessee acoustic shows all the way from Indiana.  After the gig I told him I was probably going to be forced into a solo artist situation, and he offered to help me promote, which turned into the Rebel Ways fan club, which he now runs for me.  In a very short time I had over a thousand fans on that site, so I named the band Rebel Ways as well, to show appreciation for all the support that they - the Rebels - have shown me!

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

CB3: The band is based out of a little town in Southeast Tennessee, called Winchester, which is a hole in the wall really.  There is a pretty cool band there called The Stagger Moon Band, and my bass player's uncle is in that group.  4 Miles Gone is my band guys' other group, and they do modern country type stuff.  I have some pals in a hip hop act called the Redneck Souljers, who are also based out of Winchester.  They have been traveling a lot and have a recording deal with a Nashville indie.  I wouldn't say there's really a scene here.  It's too small of an area really, but those bands stay pretty busy.

4. How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?

CB3: The music we do is very 70's influenced country rock.  Take the classic era of Lynyrd Skynyrd and bring it into the modern day, and you get an idea of what I am going for as a songwriter.  On the latest album I used a different producer from my previous stuff, and it has brought a more modern element into the production, which I like.  I tell people if 70's era Skynyrd and Waylon Jennings joined forces, and hired Kid Rock's producer, you'd get a sound close to what we are doing with this band.

 5. What's your take on your new single and video for "Hillbilly Rock Star"?

CB3: "Hillbilly Rock Star" is a concept I had for many years, and it is named after a lyric in a Kenny Chesney song from 2006, called "Living In Fast Forward."  I was going for a storyteller vibe, similar to what Jamey Johnson does, and the lyrics tell my story of getting a guitar at age thirteen, and chasing the music dream ever since.  I am very proud of the song, and it is a fan favorite.  The video was shot in Hazel Green, Alabama, at a small bar called Billy's Bar, where I play a lot of acoustic solo shows.  Billy let us come in there early on a show day and basically bring all our biker friends out for a party.  My studio producer, the very talented Jon Conner, did the entire video himself.  It was his vision, and I think he captured the vibe of the band very well.

6. Where does "Hillbilly Rock Star" come off, like which release and why should we check out this particular release?

CB3: As of now, "Hillbilly Rock Star" is a stand-alone single on iTunes.  I just released a brand new record called "A Hotel In Valdosta," and originally we were going to put "Hillbilly Rock Star" on that record, but we are saving it for the follow up record, which should be out by the first of the year.  I would encourage fans to check out both of these releases.  All of the signature Southern rock sounds are there, but with a modern production element.  I think all the songs on this project are my best work yet.  There's really not a weak track.  My producer and I worked hard to trim the fat from the ingredients, and only serve up the best product possible.

7. What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?

CB3: Right now I have a deal with a Tennessee indie label called Dammit Boy Entertainment.  We would possibly be interested in licensing the record to different territories of the world if the right labels approached us.  I'd say the industry folks should pay attention because this music is not fodder that the mainstream forces down society's throat.  This is old school song writing, and I really don't care if it sells a million copies or ten copies.  It is created from a very honest place, and it's not a product that we threw together to try and make money.  I don't care about any of that.  At my age now I just want to make music that I like, and if the public catches on, then that's a bonus.  So I'd say the labels and media should check it out because it's real.  Promoters should check it out because my band rocks!  This isn't a "stand there and do nothing" country band like mainstream artists have.  We are a full throttle Southern rock n roll band, with high energy.  This band isn't the "neighbor kids" recruited to come play some shows with me.  My guys leave it all on stage and never "phone it in" with a half ass performance.  We are there to rock!

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

CB3: Our goal is to get into the bike rally circuit, mainly in the south and Midwest.  I think we will be hitting that scene pretty hard by 2016.  Right now it's more local and regional.  We are doing a show or two a month, just trying to do some shows that make sense for us financially.  We can't travel to the other side of the country or anything like that.  We hope to conquer a ten hour radius of home, and really try to grow a strong fan base regionally.  That's the goal for the next couple years anyway.  Between band gigs I do a solo acoustic gig to keep the rent paid.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

CB3: My official website is www.CB3music.com - that's the main hub for everything going on.  There are links to basically every form of social media on that site, as well as a link to my webstore, where we sell t-shirts and other merchandise.  Digital music can be bought at www.CB3itunes.com and at every other digital site, such as Google Play or Amazon.  I have a few music videos on YouTube, as well as a bunch of live footage.  The direct like to that is www.CB3videos.com - or just Google the name Charlie Bonnet III and all kinds of stuff pops up.  I hope you find some music you like!  Thanks for the interview!  I hope to see you all at a show real soon.  Cheers!  CB3!

Inspired 70's rock n roll act The Lockhearts have been making a name for themselves in a quiet manner. Thus, due to their eclectic sound and performance style, that is reminiscent of The Black Keys and Queen, the band has gotten around to writing and recording, what would be their debut EP in the form of a double release entitled "Tales from the Sea". The band is made up of three incredible musicians, Tim Meaco (Vocals and Guitar), Samuel Sheumack (Guitar) and Jameel Majam (Bass Guitar). They will continue to rotate within the music scene, expanding their musical traits for as far as they can take it. Frontman vocalist and guitarist Tim Meaco discusses this said release and future activity for the group.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Tim: We all grew up in different towns around Sydney and were inspired by our parents’ record collections since birth. All of us picked up instruments as kids and have been playing in garage bands since we were teenagers. Once we were all old enough, we packed up and moved closer to the city to find bands and play shows.

The Lockhearts started with me in my bedroom and a handful of songs a few years ago. I’d been playing in another band for a while and needed to break out on my own and find the right musicians to play this music with. That’s when I found Jameel, who was playing in 2 other bands at the time yet was still looking for something more, so we started the Rock band we had both always wanted to be in.

We soon landed a residency at Brighton Up Bar on Oxford St to tighten up as a live act. What was meant to be a 3 month run of weekly shows turned into 18months spanning across 3 venues and breaking a record for the longest running residency of an original rock band in Sydney.

After that we hit the studio to record “Tales From the Sea” with producer Mo Mayhem and found our missing pieces in Woodie (drums) and Sam (guitar) and started touring the record.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Tim: I’ve always liked band names that sound like a family name. There’s a unity and camaraderie that comes along with it and that represents what I think a band should be, a family of dysfunctional, misfit scamps.

3. Where does the band originate from and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Tim: We’re based in Sydney’s inner west and the music scene is ever-changing and eclectic. I would highly recommend Papa Pilko, The Bin Rats, Gay Paris and The Lockhearts.

4. How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?

Tim: Bluesy Hard Rock. Cap’n Geech, The Shrimp Shack Shooters, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Jack White, The Bronx and The Rolling Stones.

5. What's your take on the EP "Tales from the Sea" as a whole?

Tim: My take on ‘Tales From The Sea’ is that it’s a musical recount of events; past, present and future that are told with the heavy growl of the blues, the drawl of southern harmony and the primal scream of electric guitars. All the things we hold dear about rock music. But talking about music is like dancing about architecture. Have a listen on Spotify or iTunes.

6. What's your favourite song on your EP "Tales from the Sea" as of right now?

Tim: It changes all the time, but currently it’s “Hope” - track 1, Volume 1.

7. Can you tell us about your next set of shows/tours and why we should be there?

Tim: We’ve just finished our ‘Tales From The Sea’ national tour, so we’ll be celebrating in style with a homecoming show/party at Brighton Up Bar on August 8th with some of our favourite Sydney acts The Persian Drugs, Wild Honey and The Swamp Crocs.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Tim: Plan A, Plan B, Plan C & Plan E. Plan D was deemed unfeasible as it involved moving Bronwyn Bishop a few millimetres to the left, and we just don’t have that kind of cash.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Tim: “Tales From The Sea” Volumes I & 2 are both available on Spotfiy & iTunes now.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time? Website link for more info

Tim: The beautiful thing about music is that it speaks for itself and everyone takes something different from it. Every listener’s experience is unique and personal, so telling anyone what to feel would defeat the purpose in the first place.

Andrew De Leon known as a semi-finalist on America's Got Talent during it's 2012 edition, has signed a record label deal with Standby Records. He will releasing his second full-length album 'Dark Tales" next year with a teaser EP available August 21st 2015. Andrew De Leon had independently released his debut album "Black Lights" mixing a combination of genres, classicial, rock, pop, gothic opera, as a solo artist in 2013. This new album will be his first recording with his band that includes lead guitarist/composer Hunter Fisher and guitarist John Paul Grasso.

Andrew told Billboard.com the following statements; "I was OK being just a solo artist for a while, but I quickly realized that I had too much of a vision to limit myself. The sound I was going for was way too big to take on all alone," says De Leon. "The idea of grouping a band happened quickly after, and I'm very happy with that decision. There's more orchestration with the music now, and the band completely gets the musical direction."

De Legon had signed on with Standby Records when the label had approached him a year after releasing his debut album. He soon was convinced after having a phone chat with CEO/owner Neil Sheehan saying "I was really impressed with the direction of the label. He made it very clear that the goal of Standby Records was to allow the artist to be as creative as possible, and I was immediately sold on the idea," says the singer. "I think artistic freedom is very important, so it only made sense to join Standby."

He went on to add that "The songs are very honest and dark, which is why I called them dark tales," he says. "My previous music was mostly about feeling victimized and how to get through those kinds of struggles, but with Dark Tales I wanted to explore the side of me that wasn't a victim. I wanted to get to know the monster inside and embrace it. So the songs on the EP talk about love, hate, betrayal, sexuality and other things I've experienced that I was too scared to write about before. Dark Tales is somewhat of an introduction to a scary story that seems to have no end."

Up-and-coming artist Grace Valerie was discovered in 2010 by Grammy-winning producer and American Idol judge Randy Jackson. Soon after she released a few singles, performing a few concerts and even talent shows! This would lead to her parents having other plans for her, having her have a career outside the limelight. She loved school and learned a lot in the process but always knew she would be an artist. Further singles and videos would be released rounding up to this debut release of an EP. As of now she is currently in the studio, finishing up the last minute details and touches on this EP with a release due out this fall. Artist Grace Valerie was indeed the one to discuss the matters on this EP giving us a full rundown on it's progress and future.

1. So what can you tell me about this new EP?

Grace: I am currently in the studio recording new material for my upcoming EP. It will be a POP-EDM record. All songs are based on my experience or someone in my circle. Which makes the EP itself very real and genuine.

2. What title did you decide to go with it and is there a meaning behind it?

Grace: I can’t reveal the title yet. I am writing within my heart and soul. There’s always a meaning behind my creations.

3. Is this EP going to be a concept release?

Grace: It will be my first EP, hence expect a big celebration and promotion of the record. I have a few surprises in store for my supporters.

4. Where are you in the recording process of the new EP?

Grace: We are almost done. Finishing up I would say. Just want every track to be perfect.

5. Who is producing the EP? How has the producer aided the recording process?

Grace: I am currently working with Klaypex. They are awesome! Young, fun, talented. EDM monsters! Check their music out! We create together… It’s easy to work with people when you are on the same page and have the same taste for music.

6. Where are you recording the EP?

Grace: Klaypex have a great studio, we are recording there.

7. Did you have any definitive goals you were shooting for before the recording process began for this EP?

Grace: I had a vision about the sound, feel, track list of the EP. And then we started creating… one by one… I know exactly how the artwork would look like… Each track is unique yet it has the same feel and genre.

8. Are you using any new instrumentation you've never used in the recording process before?

Grace: We do. Some cool electronic tools I have never seen before lol

9. When did you start writing for this EP? How was the songwriting process different/similar to previous releases?

Grace: We started in May. It’s always fun and easy for me to express my feelings on paper… through music. I love to create and go places I’ve never been before lyric wise. With this EP I definitely thought deeper and explored more then before. I am ecstatic for people to hear the full EP.

10. Did you feel any pressure whatsoever to get this out for everyone to hear?

Grace: No not at all. I love what I do. And I am grateful and blessed to have supporters that like what they hear from me. It’s all about your growth. Few years from now I may be writing about completely different things. But for now I am fortunate to speak what’s on my mind at this point of my life.

11. Can you go into one or two tracks on the new EP? If so, can you give us the track title and brief description of how the track sounds and how it came about?

Grace: The first track is called “Magic”, we released it on iTunes already. It’s a love track. Very passionate, touching, hype and perfect for a dance floor. This what I call POP EDM.

The other track is called “See How We Run”… All I’m gonna say is that it’s a hooligan love song lol You can see a movie while listening to that track.

12. How was/is the vibe in the studio?

Grace: We are music lovers, so we had a blast each time we had a writing or a recording session.

13. When can we expect the new EP to be released?

Grace: Early September. :)

14. What can the fans expect to see from you in the future?

We are working on setting up some live shows on the West Coast. So stay tuned. Also acting is another passion of mine… I am very focused on the EP and acting career at the moment.

15. Is that your final answer?

Grace: Yes! Thank you for your time and God bless!

During the summer of 2004 another band was born, thus the death metal genre had Created To Kill. These guys have gone through a series of changes since their starting but all is well nowadays. So well in fact, it's lead down to this release a DVD calling itself "Worship Or Drive...The Road To Death's Construction". It consists of live performances, of 3 hours of content, ranging from live performances taking place during 2008 through 2013, with the added bonus of their official video for "Object Of Perfect Torture", along with slideshow after slideshow of photographs of them with the fans, performances, band practice, every inch of this band is covered and featured in this DVD.

If you're not familiar with Created To Kill, the band has released two full-length albums "Worship Or Die" (2008) and "Death's Construction" (2013) with new material to likely follow suit. As far as the DVD's contents go, it is filled with live performances from numerous festivals and showcases Monsterfest 2008, Akron Deathfest 2011, Gutfest 2013, and two tours the Worship Or Die Tour 2009 and Killing North America Tour 2013. The footage within these said performances isn't your average concert DVD as far as quality. All of the footage is shot by the looks of it, if not a cell phone camera of some sort, then perhaps a handheld digital camera or perhaps a professional camera. But if you take this and compare it to another concert DVD like Cannibal Corpse's "Live Cannibalism", or Deicide's "Doomsday In L.A. " is nowhere near those quality ranges, as far as professionalism goes.

It isn't a bad thing but the quality footage of each of these showcases could have been done in a more better fashion. The audio on the other hand sounds not as great as it could. In some performances it sounds too loud, while other shots it sounds hardly hearable at all. As far as the look, it is good quality you can see the audience and band playing forth, but some shots the context isn't all that "great" but it's good. The band's performance style itself, is well crafted, and the band keeps up with one another, having well rounded songs, within the death metal genre aspect. The instrumentals are fast, hard hitting material, while the lyrics aren't to the faint of heart, if you're not into gory, killing content, you get the idea.

Overall this DVD by Created To Kill isn't the greatest release but it is good for what it is. It shows a brief history of where the band had begun to where they ended up and plan to head next. Metal fans alike will surely be into this band, whether it'd be through this DVD or an album by them, it's a way to get into yet another band within the music scene.

Sydney Australia's ruffians ‘The Lockhearts’ officially release their new video ‘Low’ utilisng the skills of renowned fetish stylist Oliver Debiais and House of Fire’s couture bondage line to help bring their vision to life. The clip has already started to turn heads having just won bronze at the Global Music Awards before its official release.

Filmed at the now derelict Old Sydney Town, ‘Low’ is the first video off their newly released double EP Tales from the Sea; The Lockhearts engaged Award Winning Director Tanzeal Rahim to create this video following the success of his horror flick Muirhouse.

“The band wanted to appropriate Greek Mythology, with the clip to resemble the tale of the Sirens in Homers Odyssey” comments Rahim on the vison for the video. Sydney based burlesque models Noir Cult and Bette Von Bomme play the charming innocent maidens, transformed into dangerous martyrs.

“Despite the somber undertones, we had a lot of fun shooting the video… I think the girls had a little too much fun drowning us though” laughs Jameel, bass player for the Lockhearts.

The release marks the completion of a successful national Australian tour that ran from March to July playing over 25 shows across 6 states boasting rave reviews from audiences and media alike.

“We’re excited to put this video out.” ‘Low’ has been one of the most requested songs from the band; “We like to write drawing from real experience, sometimes with a little too much poetic license, but themes like depression and disillusionment are relevant to a lot of people and will always make an audience connection if genuine. The guitar riff always seems to catch on and communicate on a really primal level every time we play it” comments Tim Meaco, Singer and Guitarist on why they chose ‘Low’ as the single.

Los Angeles based Extreme Metal band Urilia has announced the pre-order of their debut EP "The Adversarial Light" which will be released on August 11th.

The goal of this EP was to create a sound that combines a blend of European-style Metal with American Metal, ranging from Symphonic Black Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Groove Metal, and all other forms of Extreme Metal. This fusion of hard-hitting brutality will annihilate viewers with fast speed picking riffs and heavy breakdowns, mixed with eerie symphonic/apocalyptic orchestrated keyboards. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Mick Kenney, the mastermind behind Anaal Nathrakh, who also worked with artists such as Bleeding Through, Motionless in White, The Witch Was Right, Suffer Well, and much more. This album is perfect for fans of all sub-genres of Metal.

The overall message behind this EP is to educate our fans on dark spirituality, and how to utilize Left Hand Path energy to cultivate the inner strength and wisdom that is too often lost within a modern society that undervalues authenticity and personal power, and serves to keep us bound by pervasive and limiting cultural norms, narrow-mindedness, and corruption. The Adversarial Light is also based on one of the many books written by Occult writer/leader of the 'Order of Phosphorus', Michael W. Ford, based on the Luciferian Path.

We hope everyone enjoys this EP, and that the power in the message inspires our fans to continue growing and breaking free. - Kristof Bathory (Urilia)
