Belgian’s atmospheric black metallers Soul Dissolution can finally present their video for the track "Stardust"streaming in full now!

Soul dissolution comments "Making a video for this particular song was something we were intending to do from the start, but it took a while to find the right people and locations. Eventually, we decided to do a part of the shooting in Northern Sweden, close to the headquarters of our label, Black Lion Records. It was a fantastic experience, and the epic wintry landscapes greatly enhance the atmosphere of the clip!

The "musicians" part was filmed locally, and features Acharan (vocals) and Jabawock (guitars/bass), along with our recently announced live drummer Celestial as a stand-in for Forge Stone (who lives in Australia). We chose to remain consistent with the recording lineup for this album, instead of shooting with a full live lineup, which at that point we did not yet have.

The story in the video shows the protagonist following a path of blue stones on the ground, through snowy forests of Sweden. This fits really well with the abstract lyrics for "Stardust", but more than just a representation of the song, this video clip is a great opportunity to present a strong visual image of our band to the audience for the first time. After 5 years of existence, this is yet another statement we make: This is who we are, this is Soul Dissolution."

Band comments: "Our new album Stardust is a big step-up for us, and this song marks the end of the journey presented therein, a final release from everything. It's one of the faster-paced songs we have written so far, and in addition to our usual influences, it also bears hints to bands like Saor, Ghost Bath, and other actors of the modern-day Atmospheric Black Metal scene. "Far Above the Boiling Sea of Life" is definitely one of our most solid tracks, and we're glad to finally present it to you!"

Soul Dissolution's debut full-length "Pale Distant Light", isn't your average black metal album, from a black metal act, this one is filled with the black metal genre, with added genres on top of it, like depressive black metal, post black metal, Belgium depressive black metal mixed with melancholic post black Belgium metal. It's quite the combination if you think about it. In any case, this doesn't come along the ranks of Belphegor, Dimmu Borgir, or even Behemoth style. This is more mellow dramatic black metal, having the instruments take a back seat, with the vocals still being presentable and fierce, but it isn't all in your face all at once. It takes it's time if you will, especially on such songs as "This Red Painting in the Sky", "Immanence of Unfulfillment" and the three part of "The Final Dissolution". These songs alone, really make up this release, capturing that dramatic, slow yet modern mixture that is this combination of black metal music. It is a decent release, with interesting tracks throughout, but these songs do bring it together. Soul Dissolution's debut efforts, is a good release on its own and will surly capture some type of listener in one way if not another.
