Swedish extreme metal powerhouse Arch Enemy are charging into a new chapter as they unveil the first new musical piece after their latest album cycle with Blood Dynasty.

The new single "To The Last Breath" is a testament to the band's legacy, and a step towards a new exciting era of Arch Enemy: "To The Last Breath" comes not only with powerful music but is also the first Arch Enemy song to feature the latest addition to the lineup — new singer Lauren Hart (ex-Once Human).

Michael Amott, guitarist and founder of Arch Enemy, comments, "Connecting with Lauren has marked an important step in my journey. Working with her was an exceptional experience — her remarkable voice, coupled with her dedication and professionalism, brings a rare level of excellence. I look forward to continuing the collaboration."

While fans and media alike have been rapidly speculating about who might step into the role behind the microphone, the band remained tight-lipped as the anticipation built to a feverous pitch across the metal community. Now, Arch Enemy are back in full force, presenting their ferocious new anthem "To The Last Breath."

Michael Amott adds, "Make no mistake — this song is a reckoning. Musically, it's unapologetically aligned with my original vision for the band — and I believe longtime fans will recognize that immediately. Lyrically, it’s about seeing through deception and dismantling the illusion of control. It captures that moment when you realize you've been fed poison — and you choose to fight back. The Raven Age have today announced the addition of former Wild Lies vocalist Matt James who takes over frontman duties as the band continue their path to global stardom.

"I'm feeling incredibly honoured and excited to become part of ‪The Raven Age family. It's been such a natural fit for me, and has made me see that the possibilities are endless for the future of this band," says Matt.

The first taste of the new line up, completed by guitarists George Harris and Tony Maue, bassist Matt Cox and drummer Jai Patel, comes with the brand new single "Surrogate".

Traditional heavy metal rockers CORNERS OF SANCTUARY (COS) have parted ways with singer Frankie Cross and announce the recruitment of new female vocalist Treese Logan.

"The band is moving into new directions. There's a lot more ground we intend to cover," said COS founder and guitarist, Mick Michaels. "Bringing Treese on as lead singer opens up the band to new possibilities and heights. We are very excited about this next chapter," he added.

“I‘m beyond thrilled to get to play hard and heavy with these boys and honored to get to contribute and grow with such talent and dedication,” said new COS lead singer Treese Logan in her initial public statement. “I cannot wait to get to work and build on what we will become together!” Logan added.

The announcement comes on the heels of the band's recent single release "Dreams" which features singer Kayla Marie from Powerless Rise. "We knew a change was coming, so we wanted to test the waters with a female vocalist fronting COS," Michaels said. "Having a guest singer for Dreams gave us that chance and the results were better than we imagined," he continued.

And even with the announcement of a new singer, the band has released a new music video for "Dreams" that includes Kayla Marie.

"It's a great song. A new video just made sense," said drummer and the song’s co-writer Mad T. "The video is definitely a heavy conceptual piece. Adding a few more layers to the song's meaning," he continued.

Three Days Grace released a new song entitled "Painkiller" which is available for sale now at all digital providers and currently Top 10 on the Active Rock radio chart. Click HERE to watch the brand new lyric video for "Painkiller".

"The song is about how everyone is addicted to something," says Sanderson. "It's written from the perspective of the vice that you're drawn to. The drug, the love - the villain who taunts you into wanting more and more."

For "Painkiller," Three Days Grace reteamed with Gavin Brown, who produced the band's platinum-selling 2003 self-titled debut album. "We went back to our roots a bit and recaptured that collaborative feeling of being in a band and bringing out the best ideas in each other," says Sanderson. "Gavin was a huge part of that in the beginning and we feel like we're back in those days where we're high-fiving each other with guitars in our hands."

The band also recently announced on their website that Matt Walst, who has been touring with the band for the past year, has joined Three Days Grace as its lead singer. "Matt has been an unofficial member for a while now," says bassist Brad Walst, who is also Matt's older brother. "We were so fortunate that he was able to step in and help us out during our tour with Shinedown and P.O.D. The fans really embraced him and it made us realize that he was the right person to be our singer. We're thrilled to announce that we truly feel like a full band again."

Matt has written with Three Days Grace in the past and is excited to be a part of the new album, which is shaping up to be a very collaborative songwriting process among the four band members. "I've always wanted to be a part of this band, ever since watching my older brother and his friends jam in my basement when I was 12," he says. "I've always looked up to them, so I'm grateful to have this opportunity." Though Matt is now part of Three Days Grace, he is still a member of My Darkest Days and will continue to record and tour with them.

Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based melodic death metallers THE AGONIST have released their first group photo featuring new vocalist VICKY PSARAKIS. The Agonist tapped acclaimed photographer VON WONG to bring their new single "Disconnect Me" to life.

The Agonist guitarist DANNY MARINO says: "After working with Von Wong on our Prisoners photo shoot we knew he was the only one that could realize our vision for Disconnect Me. It was an 18 hour shoot but at the end of the day it was more than we could have hoped for."

THE AGONIST announced the addition of singer Vicky Psarakis to the group's ranks. Vicky joins THE AGONIST as the replacement for Alissa White-Gluz, who left the band to focus on her new gig as the frontwoman of ARCH ENEMY.

Comments THE AGONIST in a statement: "We announce that after three albums and countless tours, we officially part ways with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. We wish Alissa all the best with ARCH ENEMY and her future endeavors.

Phoenix-based grinders LANDMINE MARATHON have amicably parted ways with original singer Grace Perry and replaced her with Krysta Martinez. A video stream of a new version of the band's song "Dead Horses" (from their acclaimed 2011 release "Gallows") featuring Martinez on vocals can be seen HERE.


An official statement from the band concerning Perry's departure is as follows: "This summer, Grace decided to leave the band to pursue non-musical endeavors. We are grateful for all of her contributions to LANDMINE MARATHON and wish her nothing but future successes."

New vocalist Martinez is no stranger to the metal scene, having previously been a fan of the band as well as sharing the stage with them as the vocalist for the Portland grind outfit Transient. Martinez stated: "I'm stoked to be creating music with LANDMINE MARATHON and look forward to hitting the road with them in coming months. Grace is an amazing vocalist, and filling her shoes is a great challenge. Things have been incredibly enjoyable so far and the best is surely yet to come."

Guitarist Ryan Butler also commented on the new line-up, adding: "We're very excited to join forces with Krysta. We are all fans of and have played tons of shows with Transient. She was the obvious choice and a perfect fit. We look forward to sharing the road with her very soon."
