VENOM  —the hugely influential British heavy metal trio, widely revered for driving and shaping many aspects of the music industry, including black and thrash metal as well as for their instinctive blending of metallic power and punk spirit— have confirmed the release of their new studio album, From the Very Depths. It will be released January 27 via Spinefarm Records.

The band is led by vocalist/bassist and original Venom titan, Cronos, who decided against making fans the world over wait too long for this powerful new 14-track release, which is the follow-up to 2011’s Fallen Angels, also issued via Spinefarm.

So…Venom will be unleashing their fourteenth studio album, via CD and download, on January 27, with a double vinyl format to follow shortly after.

Cronos says, "This album is perfect, all three members are totally over-the-top confident with the new songs and the production. We had a great atmosphere in the studio while we were recording. Dante created pure thunder from his drums, while Rage tears the flesh off  your face with his riffs, making everything fall into place so well. It's a strong release and really shows the band maturing into an unstoppable force of pure Black Metal. We can't
wait to play the new songs live for the Legions… Hell Yeah!"

Just as the aftermath of Christmas can be laced with reminders of gluttony and false cheer, so Venom will unleash a full-throttle, full-length LP to drag you even further into HELL!

This is the heaviest Black Fuckin' Metal and is not for wimps.

Megadeth's drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick have decided to quit. Shawn Drover had this to saying

"After 10 years, I have decided to quit Megadeth to pursue my own musical interests. I want to thank Dave Mustaine and the entire Megadeth family, as well as thanking all the amazing Megadeth fans around the world!!! I truly appreciate all of you. Stay tuned for info on my next musical journey.

While Chris Broderick had this to say "I want all of you to know how much I appreciate the amount that you the fans have accepted and respected me as a member of MEGADETH for the last seven years, but it is time for me to move on. I wish Dave [Mustaine] and everyone in MEGADETH all the best. I am working on a few things of my own and hope that when they come out, you will all dig it."

It is not known for the replacements will be for these positions but only time will tell!

Swedish metal band, TRIBULATION, and Century Media Records are proud to announce a worldwide deal to spread the band's upcoming aural horrors. The band is in the studio right now to record its third album which is expected to be released in April 2015.

The band comments: "We are very pleased to announce that we have signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. Our journey has been slow but steady, but it is now time for us to stretch our black wings further throughout the world and we are sure that Century Media Records is the label that can help us do that.

Die Todten reiten schnell... In early December we will once again enter the studio, this time to record our third album. We have covered ourselves in the darkness of the divine and the ghastly and have emerged with something that we truly believe in. Though it is an album that is in every inch TRIBULATION, expect nothing and let the music take you to the unexpected. It is a journey in its own right, for us to travel with the music that we make and at each turn it takes we are closing in on a goal that is hopefully forever out of our reach. Thus, we now prepare to die to let a new shape of the vampyre return in 2015."

Jens Prueter, Head Of A&R Century Media Records Europe, is equally pleased: "I first saw TRIBULATION in July 2011 in a small club in Oberhausen and was impressed by their unique kind of Death Metal. Their debut album was deeply rooted in the mid to late 80's Death/Thrash/Black Metal but far away from a retro, old school sound. They took all classic influences and created their own universe - even more with the second album which was far beyond the formulas of death metal. I'm glad we had a good talk and cold beers back in 2011, and always remained in contact. Looking forward to working with them and help them to progress into something even bigger and darker."

The Dreaming will be returning with what will be their third album "Rise Again" due out February 10th, 2015 via Metropolis Records. The album's artwork and tracklisting as well as pre-orders are available below and HERE.

System Of A Down will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with their Wake Up The Souls Tour, commencing on April 10th and concluding with their first-ever performance in Armenia with a free show in Yerevan's Republic Square.  Click HERE for more information about the Wake Up The Souls Tour, and how you can get involved in raising awareness about the Armenian genocide and its worldwide ramifications.  Check out the tour dates and official statement from the band below.

The first genocide of the 20th century was perpetrated by the Ottoman Turks against the empire's Armenian, Greek and Assyrian populations. The failure to prevent the atrocities or punish the perpetrators led to the modern cycle of genocide.

In the aftermath of this WWI Era mass murder, there were no Nuremberg-type trials, no international courts to exact justice from the perpetrators or to offer reparations or rights of return to its victims. In the place of justice, Turkey bartered its oil rights and leveraged its geopolitical capital to block Woodrow Wilson's planned territorial restoration and reparations for Armenia.

The Turkish state, having escaped responsibility for its attempted annihilation of an entire nation, continues to harvest the rich fruits of its crime. Its leaders today, emboldened by the world's inaction, try to enforce a gag-rule prohibiting the U.S. and other governments from speaking honestly about this atrocity.

Horrific stories of the first modern genocide filled the front pages of the NY Timesstarting in 1915.  The U.S. humanitarian response to this crime, from the American Red Cross to Near East Relief, marked America's emergence as an international humanitarian power.  Yet, sadly, it was the world's failure to punish the perpetrators of this genocide that set the dangerous precedent of a genocide committed with impunity that has so emboldened tyrants - from Hitler to al-Bashir - to use mass murder as a tool of policy and power.

The German army, allied with Ottoman Turkey, seeing Turkey evade accountability, drew a terrible lesson from this atrocity about the willingness of the world to turn a blind eye to the planned extermination of a whole race under the guise of war.  One young German soldier named Adolf Hitler of the Great War later remarked "WHO NOW REMEMBERS THE ARMENIANS?" as he orchestrated what is now known as the Holocaust.

Our answer is WE DO!

We will not allow the crime of despots coupled with the greed of world powers and their interests in resource acquisition to pen our history.

Despite the UN Genocide Convention and numerous ad-hoc international bodies, including the U.S. Atrocities Prevention Board, this worst of man-made diseases continues to spread because the world's response to genocide is viewed as a politicalchoice, not a moral necessity.

By demanding a truthful and just resolution of the Armenian Genocide we are saying Never Again to all genocides.  Never again will we stand by while people are murdered for belonging to a select race, ethnic, or religious group as they were in Turkey, Nazi Europe, Cambodia, East Timor, Rwanda, or Darfur.

There are already brave souls within Turkey, who - at risk of prosecution, persecution, and even violence - are openly calling for recognition and reparations for the Armenian Genocide.  Many other Turkish citizens share these humanitarian values, but have not yet spoken out - intimidated by a government that has, for too long, obstructed the peace that only truth and justice can bring. It's time to break this silence.

As we mark this solemn centennial, please join us and the good people of conscience in Turkey to take a stand for truth and justice, and ask their President and Parliament to accept the Republic of Turkey's moral and material responsibility for the Armenian Genocide.

With your help, such a historic step taken by the people of Turkey in the spirit of human solidarity, heartfelt compassion and justice will not only heal the wounds of one genocide, but will more broadly represent a truly transformative step toward a new age - an era without genocide.

Thank you, System of a Down

The Relapse Symphony hit the scene hard with their leading singles "Make Your Move" and Panic! (Time's Running Out)" off their debut EP "Time Running Out". Soon after the band went straight to work writing material for their follow-up and debut album "Shadows". Now five months later "Shadows " is being revived again but this time with an acoustic formula titled "Shadows The Acoustic Sessions". All 11-tracks featured on the album, are featured here acoustically sounding more laid back with that easy listening experience. Each song embraces this trance of musical notes with powerful vocal chords that it entangles the two so well, it's vivid. Notable songs that stand out the most would have to be "Forever Slowly", "The Ghost That Got Away", "Walls", and "Battlefield Of Lies". These songs and the rest are just as catchy as their original content portrayed them. The Relapse Symphony has become one of the talked about acts that you won't want to miss hearing whether it'd be original context or live preferences these guys have got it.

Pritz has broken out upon the scene being a resemblance to that of BabyMetal having a similar look and style. MetalInjection.com says "It didn't take long for somebody to realize the formula of a capable group of metal musicians fronted by young females has money written all over it and if any scene could rival Japan's pop scene it's the Korean pop scene (K-Pop)." From viewing their video for the song "솔아솔아 (sorasora)" their attire resembles that to Nazi outfits, the band is already dealing with backlash for their outfits, the groups management have denied these claims saying "the thought never crossed their minds which seems so ludicrous. This is a big oiled machine and nobody noticed this??"

The Daily Mall asked the management to explain the logo and they said: "According to Pandagram, the logo was inspired by traffic signs, with black numbers written on white circles surrounded by red. The X-shape has arrowheads at the end to symbolise Pritz's ambitions of expanding 'without a limit in four directions,' according to the company's representative."

Some have compared the logo to the anti-semetic Hungarian Arrow Cross Party.

Wednesday 13 will release his sixth solo album, "Monsters Of The Universe: Come Out & Plague", on January 12, 2015 via DevCo/Cargo Records. This will be Wednesday's first concept album and produced by him as well. It will be released on CD, 12 inch double vinyl with different album covers and artwork for each release. Check out the title track, "Come Out & Plague" HERE.

Wednesday explains the inspiration to write a concept album about intergalactic forces, UFOs and aliens: "I'd become really intrigued with forbidden history books, UFOs, religions/astrotheology, and all sorts of conspiracy theories over the past few years. The subject matter so bizarre and weird. I've seen things in the skies as a kid that were not normal airplanes or shooting stars — objects doing manoeuvres that normal fossil fuel crafts couldn't do. I'm not saying that was aliens, but it could've been top secret government crafts being tested. I've also seen some things in recent years that were definitely not any technology that we supposedly have on earth. I read about so many things I'd never heard of before in the wake of this and it really inspired me to write about it, but to tell it via my own weird concept album."

Wednesday 13 will embark on a UK and US tour next year! Find out where and when from the dates below!

The Red Paintings is an act that has not only taken five years to make an album, let alone a debut album, but has gone as far as featuring a 35-piece orchestra, 22-piece choir, harp players, French horn, Theremin, and more, that is spread across a thirteen track release of pure originality and uniqueness. "The Revolution Is Never Coming" has been having its leading hit singles "Wasps", and "You're Not One of Them" charting across parts of the globe, with their performances not that far off either. As such, The Red Painting's debut album is one of those releases that takes all of the musical instrumentation used creating each song to be not like the other, now don't get me wrong there are acts whose material repeats itself from song to song, these guys don't do that, each song is expressive and differs from one another as the album plays through. Like take the singles for instance, while they chart across the music platforms they stay differ from one another making them that more catching to the ear. Other songs that do just that includes; "Dead Adults", "Walls", "It Is As It Was", "Deleted Romantic", and "Rain". Each one sounding different but sticking to the style structure of the music, where it ends up comparing to one another by sticking together. The instrumentals are played out well enough that it makes this a listening experience to take in, while the lyrical content falls into proper placements, making it round off to creating a never ending cycle of material. The Red Paintings may be another one of those acts that's a breakout performer, but these guys know just the right way to do it, and it's with a release such as this one.
