Inverse Records are proud to announce the signing of Italian post-apocalyptic thrashers REVOLUTIO. The band will be releasing their new album "Vagrant" in fall 2018.

Revolutio‘s music is an evolution of thrash/groove metal infused with post-apocalyptic and introspective elements, and describes the decay of modern age and the rise of a new era of man.

The album has been recorded, mixed and mastered at Audiocore Studio (The Modern Age Slavery, Raw Power, Dark Lunacy). The artwork has been created by the Russian studio Mayhem Project Design. A clip from the recording sessions can be seen here: https://youtu.be/Uq-3BxBiyrs.

Sometimes all it takes is one person with a singular strong vision, in order to reach and grasp brilliance, later joined by a fully fleshed out line-up in time in order to keep the momentum going from its initial flames. Unflesh vocalist and guitarist Ryan Beevers chose this very path, he first proved his mettle as a part of seasoned New Hampshire death metal veterans Solium Fatalis, and as a current ongoing student at the esteemed Berklee College of Music based in Boston.

In 2014, Ryan started Unflesh, and soon delivered their first EP, "Transcendence To Eternal Obscurity" in 2016. The highly developed six-song release featured Ryan Beevers on Vocals, Guitars, and Bass paired with world-renowned Alkaloid/Howling Sycamore/ex-Obscura drummer Hannes Grossman on session drums, As Dead Rhetoric aptly summed it up: "The closest reference point would be that of Arsis, if they went on a black metal bend. The death/black/thrash attack of Unflesh uses intricate yet melodic riffs, catchy leads and melodies, and blackened rasps to get the point across, and keeps things moving to create a whirlwind of chaos. Lots of speed and aggression, but melodies and some mid-tempo turns keep everything quite manageable."

Soon after their 2016 release, the Boston-based blackened technical melodic death metal outfit was able to attain a full band line-up of experienced musicians capable of enhancing the group's potential. Unflesh then immediately began hitting the live stage while working on their first full-length album. Unflesh is proud to finally announce their debut record, "Savior", which is set for release on May 25th 2018. Savior will strongly appeal to fans of Arsis, Dissection, Necrophagist, Naglfar, Emperor, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Obscura, Dimmu Borgir, Alterbeast, and Revocation. Prepare yourselves for devastating brilliance born of duality, Unflesh has arcane mastery over multiple realms of death metal and black metal fused sonic sorcery.

Unflesh Vocalist/Guitarist Ryan Beevers says regarding "Savior" that "I’ve always thought of the band as having a kind of mixed sound of 90’s black metal and more technical death metal bands. Since the band started I just called us "Extreme Metal" because it’s a broader label. I never thought the sound of the band would be described as just black metal or death metal. When the first EP "Transcendence to Eternal Obscurity", came out, most people seemed to identify the sound as technical death metal. This album is one more step forward in molding the sound of Unflesh, musically and lyrically the "Savior" album is a lot darker and more aggressive than our previous EP."

KZOHH has released a teaser song titled "61°45'17"N,59°27'46"E" from their upcoming album "26", which will be released soon via Ashen Dominion. When asked about the album and track, this is what was said,

"The Legend has it that Nine Mansi hunters stayed on the slope of the mountain of Holatchahl over night during their hunting trip.

The next morning all nine were found dead by their friends.
None of them showed any signs of violent death.
Thus the mountain became regarded as haunted.
Local native tribes avoided the peak and never ventured here...
February 26, 1959...

nine bodies were found dead from the group
under the leadership of Igor Dyatlov...
nine similar deaths...Unnatural and incredible..."

Varsovie is a rock/post punk band created in 2005, at Grenoble, by Arnault Destal (drummer, lyricist, musician, and arranger) and Grégory Catherina (singer, guitarist, musician).

Following the success of the band’s 2005 demo that earned it some concert dates in France, Varsovie released the EP 'Neuf Millimètres" in 2006 and began performing on the international scene. Among others, it performed on the stages of the Drop Dead Festival in Prague, the Crimson Night in Muenster and the Creeper Fest in Vilnius.

Early 2010, Varsovie released its first album "État Civil", with Infrastition Records, and recorded at Drudenhaus Studio (Britain). The band continued performing regularly across Europe; from Estonia to Italy, Romania to England, and released a noteworthy cover of Siekiera, an 80's emblematic band of the Polish post-punk era.

In the same perspective, still recorded at Drudenhaus studio, with Infrastition Records and Those Opposed Records, the band released its second album "L’Heure et la Trajectoire" in 2015. Now, the band has performed over a hundred times across European scenes – with no communication strategy other than ear to ear and organizers spontaneous requests.

Combining dark rock and post punk, still with French lyrics, on a nervous and melancholic trend, these nine new tracks keep personifying the dizziness of the time, through emblematic figures related to some historical or personal crisis that have been heavy with impact.

No message to communicate other than trying to give a meaning to life with the tools at hand.

The band will be releasing their new album "Coups Et Blessures" real soon with the first single and video of the title track, this spring come April. Check out a teaser of the track right HERE.

From its humble beginnings as a one-man band of multi-instrumentalist Leo Diensthuber in 2010, Ontario based instrumental progressive metal act Divine Realm have come a long way in just a few years. The project really kicked into high gear upon fleshing out into a full band line-up with the release of 2014's well-received "Abyssal Light" EP. Which was followed by an even stronger effort on the group's 2016 debut full-length, "Tectum Argenti".

Now in 2018, Divine Realm is back and proud to announce their upcoming EP, "Nordicity", which is set for release on March 2nd 2018. Divine Realm has never been content to define themselves as adherents solely to one sound, and as a result, "Nordicity", draws influence and comparison to prog luminaries such as Pomegranate Tiger, Between The Buried And Me, The Human Abstract, and Animals As Leaders throughout each of its five multi-faceted songs.

You can check out an early teaser video for Nordicity HERE.

Divine Realm guitarist Leo Diensthuber had the following to say regarding the new heights "Nordicity" reaches: "I feel like out of all our releases, this one reflects us as players more than any other. This is the first release our longtime drummer Josh Ingram has actually played on, and I think people will be blown away by what he brings to each song. Also, a first, Marc Roy recorded/produced the entire EP, aside from post-production which was done by myself. With Tyler Brayton being our producer on Abyssal Light and Tectum Argenti, I feel like passing the torch to Marc cleared his mind to focus on what he really loves to do, which is create music and perform, both of which resulted in a complete cohesion between locking in with Josh's drum parts and taking the frontline in many sections. I think some of our strongest melodic sensibilities shine through on Nordicity, yet at the same time, I can hear my inner fifteen-year-old self, influenced by Chuck Schuldiner, Marty Friedman and others on parts of my solos/leads. I made the decision on Tectum Argenti to give Marc half the guitar solos, and once again it was the best decision I could have made. Marc's instinct for melody/phrasing makes for some of the most memorable guitar parts that have ever made it on to a Divine Realm record."

Connecticut-based prog rockers Mile Marker Zero are excited to announce their sophomore full-length concept album, "The Fifth Row", scheduled for release on March 2, 2018. Consisting of 15 tracks which brilliantly showcase the band's melodic hooks and unique arrangements, the record was self-recorded at the band's home studio before being sent for mastering via Andy Vandette (Rush, Devin Townsend).

Vocalist Dave Alley revealed the concept behind the album stating, "The Fifth Row, is a reference to the legend of "rice and the chessboard" and is frequently used by futurists as a way to show exponential growth in technology. As a society, humanity is currently in the "fifth row" of the chessboard, a time which changes in technology happen so fast that they are almost impossible to accurately forecast or predict. The role of artificial intelligence and technology in our lives is a pretty hot topic right now. When we decided that we were going to do a concept album, it just seemed like the perfect topic to dive into given how we grew up and how technology influenced our lives."

On behalf of the cover artwork, as seen featured above, Alley added, "The album cover is filled with small references that are important to the band, and to our story. Growing up, we were all big fans of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and for the album cover we wanted to tip our cap to that film. Showcasing a monolithic element on the cover was the perfect way to pay tribute. The chess piece representing the dominant power in our story's future and the eclipse symbolizing the end of mankind's reign here on earth. Even the landscape itself is a deliberate reference to our first self titled album."
