Pop punks Simple Plan has been around for over a decade and still to this day they seem to produce the same music that made them who they are. As such, “Get Your Heart On!” the fourth LP only varies a few differences, Such as guest appearances including K'Nann, Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth, and Natasha Bedingfield. Bedingfield's appearance on "Jet Lag" collaborates well with vocalist Pierre Bouvier having the two, toss lines back and forth makes this tune enjoyable and pleasant.

"Loser of the Year" has rather energetic portions with guitar structure that keeps the music going non-stop if you will, whereas This Song Saved My Life and "Gone Too Soon" drown the energy and become the "ballad" tunes that don’t really cut it for this release. Other noticeable or rather stand-out tunes include "Astronaut", "Last One Standing", and "You Suck at Love".

"Get Your Heart On!" is filled with hooks and choruses lines that delivers the old school Simple Plan vibe but changing it up could have possibly made this album a whole lot more interesting and way better than what was offered. Simple Plan is Canada’s pop rockets that got the pop but not much punk.

Montreal pop punks Simple Plan who's believe it or not had not a single line up change since their formation in 1999, are set to release their fourth full-length release, "Get Your Heart On" set to be released June 21st. This will be the follow-up to 2008's self-titled release. The album consists of 12-14 songs which were produced by Brian Howes. The band collaborated with various songwriters from Claude Kelly to Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Mattel Squire, Jim Irvin, Natasha Bedingfield, Julian Emery, and David Hodges. Since the completion of the album as of November 2010 the band had awaited to inform the fans of their whereabouts and what is to come. As of February 11th of this year the band has released a 30 snippet of their new song "You Suck At Love" as a Valentine's Day gag. Whilst also filimg several new music videos, taking part in a photo shoot for the new album cover, and have announced that the track "Jet Lag" wold be the first single off the album which will feature a guest appearance by Natasha Bedingfield.
