Mattel's Monster High brand has expanded ever since it's debut a while back, now that some time has passed, so has the brand by introducing an all new aspect a first ever musical! Of course it features your favorite guys and ghouls including some all new ghouls as well! This will be an all new movie special titled "Boo York, Boo York A Monster Musical".  If your wondering on what this special will be about, pop singing sensation Catty Noir, has dug up some ghostly details on this ghastly gossip!

"Hey Ghouls and Mansters! Catty here. We have some fangtastic news--Monster High is headed to the fright lights, big city in our very first musical, Boo York, Boo York! All your favorite ghouls will be there - taking in the sights from Times Scare to the Monster Of Liberty! We'll be shopping for out-of-this-world fashions to wear to a fabulous party celebrating the rare Crystal Comet passing overhead! They say the Comet has mysterious magical powers - and the whole city is buzzing with "Comet Fever" about the big night! It's sure to be stellar.

We'll take in a show, but the plays on Bloodway aren't the only drama going on in Boo York when Monster High's favorite couple, Cleo and Deuce, BREAK UP! Though it all, we'll make some terror-riffic new friends! Like Elle Elledee, the music-loving DJ daughter of a Robot...Luna Motthews - daughter of the Mothman, she was drawn to the bright lights of old Bloodway. Then there's Moucedes King, the daughter of the Rat King from the Upper Beast Side--she's a bit of a spoiled rat, but has a heart of gold. And when the comet arrives - so does Astra Nova, a starry-eyed ghoul who pays a visit from the skies.

What magic does this crazy Comet have in store? Have you ever seen cooler fashions?"

Monster High has partnered with the Kind Campaign – a movement dedicated to ending bullying through kindness – to spread the word that it is cool to be kind. Throughout October during National Anti-Bullying Month, Monster High and the Kind Campaign are doing a number of special activities to engage their active fan base in spreading this important message.

For instance Monster High released a special Kind Campaign webisode to jump start this whole kindness capaign the right way. he new webisode stars animated monsterfied versions of Kind Campaign founders Lauren Parsekian and Molly Thompson, in which they host a Kind assembly for Frankie Stein, Draculaura, Cleo de Nile and the rest of the Monster High students. You can watch it below.




Throughout October during Anti-Bullying Month, Monster High and the Kind Campaign are rolling out a number of special activities to spread the message that it is cool to be kind, including:

Local Mother/Daughter Events:

o Monster High is hosting mother-daughter events in local markets around the country to screen "Finding Kind," – a documentary from the founders of the Kind Campaign – that takes an in-depth look into the eternal issue of girl against girl bullying. These events will be used to create a dialogue about the importance of being kind to ourselves and to others.

* Monster High is engaging girls via its online portals with activities such as a downloadable “Kind Checklist” that lists different “kind” actions that girls can do during the week (eg. eating lunch with the new “ghoul” at school).

* Don’t be a mean ghoul. Monster High is inviting fans to use Monster Mail (e-cards) on MonsterHigh.com to send an apology to say they’re sorry if they are feeling monstrously bad about something they said or did.

Mattel's Monster High Dawn of the Dance series has returned with its second series of dolls. This time the dolls come with their own scary outfits, bag, invitation to the dance and pictures of the characters. Also includes a DVD with special content from the cartoon series Monster High!

Mattel's COO Bryan Stockton has revealed what is to become of the very popular line known as "Monster High" for 2011. His response was as follows; For 2011, the franchise continues to expand with the introduction of four new characters, two new books and an hour-long TV special.

We have also expanded our partnership with (teen mall chains) Claire's and Justice; our Macy's T-shirt program, launched in early January, delivered strong sell-through; and, next month, check out our Monster High program at Walmart, which includes the dolls, books and T-shirts. Brand offerings will be further expanded to include apparel, accessories, cosmetics, and activities for back to school.

And we launched the brand in more than 15 new markets this year including France, Australia, Portugal, Turkey and Poland, to name a few.

Mattel's Monster High has set the continuation of its Dawn of the Dance line with the addition of Ghoulia Yelps, Lagoona Blue, and Deuce Gorgon this line has yet to be released.

Next is the School's Out assortment that has Frankie Stein, Clawdeen Wolf, and Cleo De Nile sporting their summer attire. Cleo De Nile has a green/blue tank top with black skirt and black leggings with yellow/black leggings on top with a yellow scarf belt tied around her waist, with blue high heels. Frankie Stein is all in blue with her black/grey leggings and blue skirt with blue vest jackie and grey high heels. Clawdeen's attire is purple/black shoes with purple leggings with a yellow under blouse and purple/black zebbra top with a blue/green belt tied around her waist. School's out will be released this summer in July-August.

Monster High author Lisi Harrison will be signing copies of her new book "Monster High: The Ghoul Next Door" at the Barnes & Noble book store in Huntington Beach, California on Wednesday April 6th. "Monster High" is her third young adult series that has become quite successful. It follows her other successcors "The Clique" and "Alphas". Lisi says that she enjoys book signings and answering questions from her fans more than reading material from her own work but if asked she will do so since fans adore the work she's done.

Mattel's Monster High has been giving us hints and clues as to Monster High's ghoulish newest couple Draculaura and Clawd Wolf the brother to werewolf sister Clawdeen Wolf. Now it's official Draculaura and Clawd are indeed the cutest couple at Monster High! This brand new gift pack consists of new comer Clawd with his pet, diary, and stylish attire with his ghoulfriend Draculaura at his side holding a new umbrella, and a new diary featuring more juicy gossip and ghoulish details of her everyday life. The new gift set should be now available in stores or coming soon and looks to be priced around $29.99 if not $39.99 as is the price tag on the first couple gift set, featuring Cleo De Nile and Deuce Gorgon. This past summer Mattel released an addictive franchise that has not looked back, Monster High. This is a line of fashion dolls inspired by monster movies and horror fiction so unlike most fashion dolls these are more eerie. Most characters are being related to or are the offspring of such famous monsters as Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolfman, among others. But this franchise does not only limit to its doll addiction but branches out to other products as well, plush toys, stationery, bags, accessories, apparel, and rolls out to later become a full-length feature film since the hit online episodes have become such a hit.

Monster High Set


The online episodes or webisodes which premiered in May have ran a length of 1-2 minutes and has run a total of 15 episodes in its first seasonal run and is now in its second season.  A 30-minute Halloween special was shown on Nickelodeon this past October 31st entitled "Monster High: New Ghoul @ School". For this one time airing, Allisoon Iraheta had two songs playing in the backdrop; "Scars' and "Friday I'll Be Over U". It was said that the plot revolved round Frankie Stein as being the new student at Monster High and what she dealt with during her first week. Also in this episode’s run we get introduced to the other characters that have sparked our interest, Draculaura, Clawdeen, Lagoona, Cleo de Nile, Deuce Gorgon, Ghoulia, and Holt Hyde. Aside from this set of characters there are more on the horizon, Jackson Jekyll, Ghost Girl, Abbey Bominable, Spektra Von Hauntington, and Operetta. All of whom are based on the characters from, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Abominable Snowman, and Phantom of the Opera.

Mattel plans to release several new items between now and into the New Year as well which includes the Gloom Beach set and fashionable school spirit uniforms along with play sets for Draculaura's coffin bed as well as Frankie Stein's bed. As for the doll set be on the lookout for Ghost Girl and Abbey Bominable as well as a new set of plush dolls that includes Cleo De Nile, Decue Gorgon, and Lagoona.
