German Death/Thrash Metal band Susurro released their new single "Love Peace and Rain" dedicated to the situation in Ukraine. The release was recorded in "AKS Studios", and mixed/mastered by Andy Lux.

The band founder Jack Skaner described the song "We find it very sad that there is war in Europe again. That mothers lose their sons. The persecution frenzy and the hatred have arrived here. Why are there wars? What sense does it all make? Maybe we would all be better off if there were no politics and we all loved each other."

Check out the single below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WBQ4-XDAwE

Susurro was formed in 2019 at Allmersbach, Germany by Jack Skaner (vocals/guitar). Soon after Mr. Six-Ell (bass) and Winzent Walace (guitars/keyboard) joined the band and the lineup was completed. The band's debut album "Erratic" was released in January 2022.

Canadian Black Metal band Aarimest released their debut EP "Vivorum". The EP was recorded, mixed and mastered at the band's home studio in Ottawa, Canada.

Check it the debut EP linked below:

https://aarimest.bandcamp.com/album/vivorum

Aarimest was formed in Ottawa, Canada as a one man band combining metal with various musical influences from within and outside the genre. Folk and Acoustic elements are notably present on the band's debut release EP “Vivorum”. Along with its distinctively harsh vocal style, Aarimest’s compositions lend themselves to an aggressive, yet enchanting, musical soundscape.

Electronic, distortion, metal, rock, and pop band PROCESSOR goes into detail about their music, both past and present content, with the plan to be just on music.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Processor is Johan Isaksson from Sweden

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

You might think that the band name comes from a Processor in a computer but that's not the story.  I saw a wood processor harvesting forest and I thought that would be a cool name, so the absolute first pictures of Processor was taken with logs. (lost now) After that it was just Processor (and i know that it is not google friendly) .)

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

I live in Örebro. Bands from here is Millencolin and Truckfighters

4. How would you describe your style?

Electronic, distortion, metal, rock, pop, cinematic

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

I have released 14 albums but I don't know how many singles.. and couple of remixes on that with Pure obsessions and red nights, Emmon, The hunger.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes a single with Processor & Modesty Beast named Warmonger is coming out March 31 and a small EP after that with only Processor named Yet we remain release date April 21. I'm feeding the dragon a song every third week or so.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Nope I'm only focusing on doing music right now.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

I would really like to do a soundtrack for a movie in the future. Otherwise just do better music as long as it is fun!

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

www.processor.nu

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Ooh that was heavy! I want more!

Dark and twisted singer/songwriter KATELYN BENTON is just her, releasing material since her teen years, with much more in the works already, with her just wanting to share it with everyone! She talks about her tune's and more below!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

This project was started with my good friend and producer Scott Nickoley. Scott is a film composer (South Park, Hell and Back, Tuca and Birdie among others) and I was honored that he felt connected to my music and wanted to create such dynamic soundscapes around it. I've played with many incredible musicians over the years, but at its core, my music is built on my original songs and featured piano. I've played piano since I was a toddler on the lap of my concert pianist grandmother, Courtney Benton, and I've always incorporated emotional and grand piano elements into my works.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

N/A - Katelyn Benton is just me. :)

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

I was born in Louisiana, spent a large part of my life in Colorado, and now reside in Los Angeles. The music scene in Louisiana is obviously quite rich with jazz and blues, and I do feel that pieces of this have carried into my music. Colorado had a robust music scene as well, and I began performing professionally when I was 11. I looked up to local singer/songwriter Nina Storey (who has since relocated to Los Angeles) and keyboardist and recording Engineer Jeremy Lawton (Big Head Todd and the Monsters). My mom helped me to get an affidavit to perform in 21+ venues with leading local musicians at the time, including the Subdudes, who like me, are originally out of Louisiana. Here in Los Angeles the music scene is extremely dense with incredible musicians from around the globe performing in every genre. Annabel Lee is a fantastic artist here in Los Angeles that I've been watching since she moved out here about 5 years ago. I am constantly inspired by my Los Angeles peers including other singer/songwriters like myself, but just as much so by film composers (Steve Mazzoro of James Bond, Dune, Wonder Woman and many others + Nicholai Baxter of Lala Land, Star is Born, Coda, among many others) who I've found myself fairly enmeshed with. There is always new music to be heard here, new bands to see play live, and I feel so much gratitude to be in a city that offers musicians so much opportunity for performance and collaboration.

4. How would you describe your style?

My music is singer-songwriter with a dreamy and dark twist. My background is in classical piano, and I feel this comes through in my writing. I was influenced heavily by composers like Chopin and Debussy, with a musical quality that feels both modern and timeless. I also grew up watching Disney films and have certainly been inspired by the story-telling of lyrics. I've also been influenced by bluesy singer songwriters like Fiona Apple and piano-powered pop like Ben Folds.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

My first single came out when I was 13. "Turn this World Around" was inspired by the heartbreaking school shootings that were occuring close to home. I released my first full-length album, Sycamore Street when I was 15. Upon graduating from Berklee College of Music I released an EP, Once, which was recorded by musicians across the globe. "Impossible Love," which was co-written by John Magnie of The Subdudes, went on to win the Best Music Video awards at the 2009 JPF awards in Nashville. Since then I have been releasing the work I did with Scott Nickoley and Ryan Franks as singles. You can expect rich, cinematic arrangements showcasing outstanding musicianship with lyrics that are never an afterthought.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Always! In addition to having several more songs in the cannon ready to go, I'm always writing and recording for a variety of projects. I've also been recording solo piano pieces for the first time in my career, covering many of my favorite songs from childhood including "Under the Bridge" from Red Hot Chilli Peppers, "Creep" by Radiohead, and "Man Who Sold the World" by David Bowie.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

The pandemic has put a hold on my performing for quite some time, but my hope is that as venues begin to open up in Los Angeles I will be back on the stage and sharing my music with my music family, friends, and fans.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

At the heart of what I do is just the desire to share my music in case it touches someone the way it touched me when writing it. I think a lot of musicians have "world domination" on their mind when setting career goals, but my goal is to follow the heart of the music to wherever it takes me. I'd love to write for movies some day, to have songs featured in films like Lala Land and Star is Born.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can find my music on Spotify and any other major streaming platform. You can also find two of my music videos on YouTube: the award winning Impossible Love music video (made on a budget of $200 with some friends in the desert) and Fix (where we brought a grand piano into the Sequia National Forest).

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Not all music worth listening to fits into a genre box. Have an open mind and enjoy the qualities that you may not find on mainstream radio.

Alternative hard rockers COLLATERAL BEAUTY is a duo act, whose time together has given them the time to release their most recent debut of a track, with more content of tracks in the works currently. That is all that's been in the works as of right now, and the band discusses all about it below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Collateral Beauty is composed of two members, Josiah White and James Carlisle. The idea came after the indefinite hiatus of their previous band due to covid and it seemed to just develop from there.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

That’s a hard one to express into words. I suppose the best way to express it is the fact that everyone goes through pain throughout life, traumas, scars that cannot really heal. They are scars on our soul and we get to choose how they affect us. Whether we grow or rebirth. Those scars create who we are. Out of the ashes… The Collateral Beauty.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend? We are based out of Dallas, TX. Solid scene overall.

4. How would you describe your style?

Alternative, as even our debut track has been described as both “Heavy Metal” and “Dark Folk” so hard to say. If I had to pick one, it would be Alternative Hard Rock.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

So far our debut track was released on March 10th 2022. We have a few tracks in the works that should be out in the coming months. We try to tell a story with each song. Thirteen has been described as “a dress rehearsal for a planned drowning” and that was very much what I was going for. This was written from the perspective of a kid caught in between the toxic relationship of his parents. The sinking ships pulling the passengers down with it.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We have 5 songs done, just working on recording, mixing and planning.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

None at the moment.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

What anyone wants, to release music that people can relate to.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

All streaming services, including TikTok/Instagram/YouTube and Facebook.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Nothing. I want them to relate to it in their own way.

Funky blues rock band WHAT THE FRNK AND THE LONGHORNS have their debut album, a single, and other songs in the works yet to be released. Some live shows have been in the works and are set to take place soon enough. The band talks of their music and shows below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

WTF was founded in 2018. The idea, which had been around for a long time, only became reality when singer/guitarist Frank had to make a number of choices in his life. During a “forced” sabbatical of 1.5 years he used the time to found WTF together with Twan (bass guitar). Guus (keys) soon joined, whom they knew from various music sessions. Moments later, drummer Mano joined.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

What the Frnk was used as a kind of joke during a dance festival in Eindhoven (Netherlands) when Frank played as a soloist with a DJ. It's an inside joke name. The name was later used as a working title and also kept

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are located in Eindhoven, which is nicknamed "Eindhoven Rockcity" and has a rich rock music culture. Peter Pan Speedrock, TankZilla and The Dirty Denims are examples of well-known bands that originated here. There are also many Americana bands in the region.

4. How would you describe your style?

What the Frnk’ musical style can be described as “Funky Blues Rock”. When playing large venues, our horn section “The Longhorns” will join us and add some soul to our performance.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works? AND 6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We released our debut album “Something about you” in march 2020, a few days before the first Covid lockdown in the Netherlands. The scheduled album release tour was therefore cancelled.  Since performing in a conventional setting was no longer possible, we decided to work on new material. This was also the point where we brought in the horn section to play on our new songs. The result is the single “Speed of Light” which was released last year. We also recorded multiple other songs which are not yet released. We plan on releasing several other tracks over the course of 2022.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Since we are no longer in lockdown, we have started doing live shows again. The schedule can be found on our website: https://whatthefrnk.nl/#agenda.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

We enjoy playing live live shows, it’s what we do best. Currently, our focus is on blues rock festivals and clubs in the Netherlands. But our booking agency is in contact with clubs in the UK to organize a tour.  No concrete plans are made yet.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can listen to What the Frnk on all streaming platforms.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

As a band, WTF mainly wants to play live and treat the audience to beautiful music and provide a pleasant evening. This does not have to be extreme or in virtuosity. But just good with catchy songs.

Hard rockin grunge punks SURVIVING SEPTEMBER have been around for a while, releasing a couple of really good songs, even an album, with the band always hard at work writing all new material. This band chats of their works below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The history of the band is easy, We got together for the first time 2 years ago and wrote four of the best songs I've ever played in one night. The rest is history.

Steve Parker - Guitar and Vocals - Is a songwriting monster. Seriously. Fanboy of Sheena Easton and Coolio, And is secretly in love with the beautiful bastard John Stamos.

Mike OBrien - Lead Guitar - Has been playing guitar most of his life. Main influences are Grunge and Blues. Mike has wooden legs and real feet.

Joe Stone - Bass - Started playing bass by accident after a nuclear spill in the kitchen. Stole his uncles bass rig and made it his bitch. Still learning "The basics of Bass", and how to screw trees in the wild.

Rod Herrick - Drums - Learned how to play drums on his Dad's vintage Ludwig 4 piece trap set. Honing his skills over a lifetime, Rod now plays a 7 piece Pearl Export ELX Custom Set with a lot of cymbals and other stuff that goes bang and shnish.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

The name Surviving September, as a band name, has been around for a long time. Created by Steve Parker, we resurrected the name for this band because we all survived a troubling experience together as a band in September and decided the name fit who we were at the time.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

The band is based out of Jacksonville Fl, with our drummer driving down from South Carolina for regular practices. If you want to make it work, you gotta sacrifice. The music scene, for the most part, is great. We play most of our shows in Tampa, Orlando, and Daytona Fl. There are so many bands that deserve to be mentioned here, Divided Truth, Dancing with Ghosts, The Dood, Defy the Tyrant. We cant forget the local scene wouldn't be what it is without Superfan Shannon Juergensen playing the best bands in Jacksonville on her weekly radio show.

4. How would you describe your style?

The bands style can be described as having a hard rock feel with hints of grunge and punk. We all have different musical tastes and styles. Merge them together and you get Surviving September.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We have released a couple of really good songs, available on all streaming platforms and our website.

Song 1:Your Time is up, with a music video on Youtube

Song 2: Prey, with a music video on Youtube

Song 3: Longing for, With a music video on Rumble.

Song 4: The End

Band: People can expect genuine music that feels good to listen to. The songs are written from personal experiences/situations and most people can relate to them.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We are always writing new music. Our first album, Silver Linings, has all of the original Surviving September songs on it, and our newest release, The End, is a sample of what our second album will sound like. We have also written 3 new songs with our new drummer, Rod Herrick, as a way of feeling out his playing style. Those songs are all killer, and hopefully ready to be recorded soon.

7. Have any plans of shows or touring in the works?

We currently have 3 shows lined up in Jacksonville Fl 4/10, 4/25 at Jack Rabbits with Fate Destroyed and Living Dead Girl, and 6/9 at Archtype with Raviner, and one in Fort Walton Beach on 6/14 with Raviner again. We are trying to work the details out for a quick tour of the South Eastern United States, and we talk about coming to Europe and hopefully pulling a few weeks in Germany, England ect. We are also accepting shows from all over.

8. What plans do we have for the future of the band.

We'd like to take over the world of music. LOL. On a more serious note, We're a new band, with a new musical style, and with no disrespect to the bands that have been doing this for a long time, but it's time to make room at the top for the new guys.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

We have a website, www.survivingseptemberband.com, where you can buy our music, merch, and pictures of our bass player in his underpants (Not really, but if it'll help drive people to the site, stay tuned) and you can stream all of our released stuff on all the major streaming platforms. You can see all of our music videos to date, plus some live show clips, on our YouTube and Rumble channel. All of these things are connected to our website.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We really like for them to remember the song and the name of the band. Also, that new music is out there. We play with so many bands that are scratching for a spot. All of the bands we play with are really good and have something to offer. Live shows are really entertaining, and you arent going to die if you watch a local band at a local venue. That's where we get most of the attention from our fans. At the local show. Grinding it out.

Alternative rockers INSAMMER have their brand new album out and about now! New material of a single translated is also in the works. So much more is set for this band and they discuss those matters below.

1. Please tell us about the history of InSammer band and its members.

InSammer: Back in time our vocalist Vika was looking for a guitar teacher and found Dennis. They decided to create music together because they had many common musical tastes. The very first line up recorded InSammer first album “Numbers as Victims”. Then different musicians entered and left the band, until our second album Seeds when Oleg Izotov came to the studio to record some guitars and played a few gigs as a session guitar player. The band members liked his personality and he is still a part of the band. Then a super bass player Nikita and an awesome drummer Alex joined the band.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

InSammer: The name InSammer was inspired by the novel of Robert Heinlein “The Door Into Summer”. We were charmed by the story beyond the creation of the novel. Robert and his family faced the snowfall in Colorado and their cat wanted to get out of the house. When Robert opened a door for him, the cat wouldn't leave and kept on crying. So Robert decided that the cat was looking for a door into summer. The novel was written in 13 days. We believe that we all need the new reality to enter, the door into the world full of creativity and positive vibes.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

InSammer: We are from Sweden and it’s already well known that Swedish rock scene is stronger than ever. You can listen to any band from Stockholm or Gothenburg and they will be a blast for sure. Sabaton or Arch Enemy, Clawfinger or Amon Amarth – any band is a huge player on the music scene. You definitely need to check Swedish rock bands.

4. How would you describe your style?

InSammer: Alternative rock with a great female vocals, awesome guitars, mega bass, violent drums and super positive vibes!

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

InSammer: Recently we released our new album called ‘Black Art’, 11 tracks of total guitar and drums madness, filled with moments of relentless energy throwing back to their punk and rock roots to visionary moments of modern alternative. Our third album ‘Black Art’ is powerful and strong statement of the modern world. We spent almost a year in the studio during pandemic period, we wrote over 40 songs and had to choose from them. We took 11 tracks of pure rock vibrations with excellent lyrics to rock the house. For the first time in our career, we truly put it all out there. The album's lead single, "Black Art", is about dark times in internet and hard situation on politic stage. We are all in the process of transformation.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

InSammer: Our fans from Latin America gave us the idea that our track Seeds from the second album can be easily translated into Spanish. Our friend, great vocalist and guitarist Yasmani Silva made very cool lyrics in Spanish and we are working hard on recording this track. La Semilla (Seeds) will be ready in 2022.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

InSammer: Covid-19 situation is pretty bad worldwide, many gigs and festivals are cancelled and postponed.  The summer time is near but we have no ideas regarding the live shows. We’ll see.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

InSammer: We have a new video in post-production. It’s a track from the new album – Vikings. It will be a huge epic story of war and fate in a historic atmosphere, directed by Can Katipzade, a well-known Turkish director.

9. Where can we listen to your band?

InSammer: All our albums and singles can be found at all major platforms – Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Pandora, etc.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

InSammer: Well, if you listen to InSammer for the first time then have a second try and become our fans. Rock on!

Indie alternative rockers FOOL SAINT have a handful of tracks available, including their most recent release of an EP. The band talks of this release and what they have in-store next for themselves.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The history of this band has some layers. Essentially, we began to form the band in the very beginning of 2020. Christian, Austin, Michael, and Kyle were all members of a previous band (Young House). On top of this, Christian and Austin were in another band together ten years ago (Gatherers). Sara started jamming with us and gave the band an entirely new sound. Consequently, a completely different band was formed. At the same time, Sara began her master's in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management. Her education profoundly influenced what she writes about and was inspired by notions of care economies, anti-consumerism, and living in harmony with the community of life. Those themes are reflected in our first three songs.

Our first three songs are Plum Tree, Harborview, and Packing. These songs were recorded in November 2020 at Timber Studios. Each song was released as a single starting with Plum Tree in May 2021. By August 2021, we had five more songs written, which would soon become our first EP, "In a Field, Away From The City". We went to Nada Studios to collaborate with Music Producer/ Engineer John Naclerio on this release. We’ve worked with him in the past and knew he was going to capture the sound we were going for. Now we are playing shows all over New York City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia in support of our debut EP release.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Our bass player, Michael Doyle, came up with the name after ruminating for weeks about what we should call ourselves. Fool Saint is from the second book in the popular SciFi series, Dune, called Messiah. According to the internet, Fool Saint is defined as "A role model, or a figure in someone's life who is admired. A person who lives an eccentric life and creates saint-like miracles, but those miracles amount to nothing." So a Fool Saint is a false prophet, an influential leader with many subordinates; however, leaders are still humans who make mistakes, but those mistakes are over-exposed and amplified because of the massive quantity of followers captivated by the leader's charisma. The bubble pops. Pride, overconfidence, and narcissism will end up leading to your tragic fall.  We think it fits our sound.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are a Jersey City-based band and have strong roots in the New Jersey Music Scene. The music scene here is vibrant. It does not feel like a competitive environment whatsoever. Artists are constantly supporting and building each other up. A few excellent venues here host musicians, but some unfortunately dissolved because of Covid-19. The popular music here seems to be all types of rock and hip hop—so much passion. Music is critical to the individuals who grew up in New Jersey and the surrounding areas. It seems like everyone knows how to play an instrument and make music. Music Festivals are thrown constantly in the summer and fall. One of our favorites is The Ghost of Uncle Joe’s, which is a cover-theme festival thrown around Halloween by Rocket Docket.

Additionally, our proximity to New York City means we are tapping into that market as our territory. New York City has a vast, diverse, and invigorating indie music scene. There are always new faces when we play shows in NYC because dwellers and visitors are enthusiastic about checking out shows held at their favorite music venue. Those shows are always the most fun and exciting. You should check out some bands: Super Mutt, Felons, GAL (Get A Life), Crazy and the Brains, Max Feinstein, Witch Trials, and Sir Synthesis.

4. How would you describe your style?

It is hard to say. We bridge the gap between indie rock, alternative rock, and pop-rock… but we also have shoegaze and dream pop elements in the instruments while simultaneously being a little psychedelic. Our music reinforces notions of anti-consumption and focuses on the human experience, which kind of makes it a little pop-punk. One thing I can say for sure is that we are emo. Neo-aging-millennial-emo.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

So far, we have released eight songs. Many of which have environmental justice themes that critique neoliberal capitalism. The compositional structures that we use are fairly simple, however, we each bring a unique element to the song. We like hooks and catchy melodies paired with post-rock-esc reverby guitar. There are several major crescendos that pay homage to the early 90’s with fuzzed out bass and forte drums. On the other hand, there are moments that are tender with a Contemporary Musical Theatre influence.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes! I am glad you asked. We released a new five-song EP on March 4th 2022! Regardless, we are writing a few new songs that we will either release as singles or incorporate into a full-length album or LP. We’ve tossed around the idea of doing a few live sessions.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

The pandemic brought operations to a screeching halt, so we started playing shows as recently as September 2021. We also wanted to make sure we had at least eight completely finished songs before we performed. As a result, we had an obscene amount of performances from September-December. So far, we have stayed around New York and New Jersey. An upcoming show in Philadelphia will be our first time playing outside our territory, and we are incredibly excited. At this moment, we don't have any specific tour planned out. However, we are eager to do a national and international tour when it makes sense.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

The future seems to come faster and faster every single day. Fool Saint has major ambitions- both collectively and as individual people. I think we all can agree that the most important aspect is to keep music and our friendship at the heart of the group. For now, we will continue to create and perform for whomever is interested in listening.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can listen to Fool Saint on all the streaming platforms you desire! Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Google Music, Tidal, and Bandcamp. You can also buy our merch on our website: https://foolsaint.com/.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We are a five-piece, female fronted rock band that works collectively to create the music that is currently missing in our lives. These songs and stories are all real experiences experienced by someone.

ARMAGELION is a hard rock, heavy metal act whose time together thus far, have two single's out, with another single underway! Some shows are also in the works, with a tour and much more music to follow suite. Find out what this act has to say about all of this below!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Armagelion and his mythology come from the fascination for Sci fi, comic books and larger than life characters. Armagelion is the character I never saw, the entity I become when I'm on stage. It all began in Los Angeles, California two years ago, even though the idea of the character came up 10 years ago. I wanted to find the perfect combination between a larger than life character and pure hard rock with reminiscence about the 80s sound but with my own style.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

I wanted to create a memorable and powerful name, but without using any existing word. So I tried combining mythology and biblical words to create my own.

3. Is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there?

Currently I'm based out of Dallas, TX.

The music scene is good, but I think there needs to be more spots available for original projects.

4. How would you describe your style?

ARMAGELION's music is hard rock/heavy metal/arena rock with high pitched and gritty vocals, catchy and dramatic melodies. Shredder guitars, powerful drums and melodic synths.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

I have two singles out. "Welcome to the Show" and "Lie to Me" just came out. You can expect to hear hard rock/ heavy metal with reminiscence about the 80s heavy metal bands. High pitched and gritty vocals with catchy and dramatic melodies.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes. I have a new single which is already done as the next preview to the upcoming album. "Lie to Me" is powerful and dramatic, the new single is sensual and energetic. It's called "Playing with Fire"

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Of course! I'm planning some nearby shows and I hope to get into some festivals and share shows with other artists.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

I plan to release more music and tour. I want to go to as many places as possible.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

I'm on every streaming service. You can find me as ARMAGELION.

Here is the Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/artist/4SbqNuXLiu8IFt1RdIDtia) and the new video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=os-6oh10GtQ), social media, just search for the name honestly.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

I want people to listen to my music and remember the big heavy metal bands selling out stadiums, but to recognize us for my own sound.

May one of my songs be part of the soundtrack of their lives.

At the same time, I want them to see more than just an artist. I want them to see a larger than life character.

Brazilian/Dutch death metal firestarters CRYPTA dropped one of the most anticipated metal debuts of 2021 with Echoes Of The Soul, subsequently hitting the the US Current Hard Music Albums chart at #15 and Canadian Hard Music Albums chart at #13, amongst others and receiving massive acclaim from media and fans alike. Now, the high-voltage unit is thrilled to announce an official reissue of the album bundled with a very special bonus 7-inch, out April 1, 2022 via Napalm Records.

This razor-sharp treat features the brand new song “I Resign”, a lost bonus track from the debut sessions, as well as a hard-hitting live version of “Shadow Within”, a track found on Echoes Of The Soul. Now is the perfect occasion to gift fans with something special, after CRYPTA were forced to postpone their European tour earlier this year due to the ongoing pandemic.

Along with a riotous new official video, cutting track “I Resign” kicks in like an all-destroying wrecking-ball, showcasing another demonic facet of the four-woman force of fury.

Tainá Bergamaschi on “I Resign”:

“'I Resign' is a song that features elements from most of our main influences, along with characteristics from both our previously released album Echoes of the Soul and the new material we’ve been writing. We tried to blend epic melodies followed by aggressive riffs throughout the track, which, combined with the lyrics, tell a story of despair.”

Fernanda Lira adds:

“We thought unveiling an unreleased track right now would be a great way of gifting our fans with something nice while they wait for our tours to start! Also, the lyrics, which are more current than ever, are a good food-for-thought while listening to this very special song for us.”

German Progressive/Technical Death Metal band When Theia Created the Moon released their debut EP "Would It Kill Us Not to Kill Us?". All songs and lyrics written by Christian E. Weißgerber Recorded, mixed and mastered by Sascha Bühl.

Check out the release the following:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPsgSWvwjs8

When Theia Created the Moon was formed in 2020 in Berlin, Germany by Christian Weißgerber (vocal/guitar), Marius Tausch (vocals/saxophone), Thomas Lade (bass) and Sascha Bühl (drums). The band describes their music as a bone-breaking, headbanging, emotive death metal that oscillates between melodic and moshy parts, sprinkled with some technical sparks on top of it – the right mixture of groove and crazy to bang-dance out of the pandemic.

Little bit of everything band THE FALL OF ME began just in the summer of 2021. Since they have released an EP, with them set to start work upon their debut album. The band talks of content and the future.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The Fall of Me has been a band since May of 2021. It started with Chelsea (Vocals) and Paul (Guitar) meeting up to rehearse covers for a charity event in their area. Paul shared some riffs and a song was “accidentally” written. That song was entitled, “The Fall of Me”. Once the song was written, Chelsea and Paul realized there was potential and Donny (Bass Guitar) joined the duo by recommendation of Paul. The 3 got to work right away creating not only music, but an entire concept band. “We each play characters when we perform and are not our real selves.”

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

When Donny joined, Chelsea and Paul had written two songs, “The Fall of Me” and “Rain”. The three sat down to discuss potential names and the original song title kept sticking out. We felt it went well with our moody and dark style of writing, so “The Fall of Me’ became our official name.

3. Is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there?

We are based in the Pittsburgh area. More specifically an hour south in a town called Uniontown. There is definitely a music scene, but covid hit it pretty hard. The bands are typically rock or country cover bands. But there are some fantastic original groups as well! In fact, Chelsea used to host a local TV show through Armstrong Cable called “Music Talks” where she interviewed local bands and musicians. If you look up the show on YouTube you can find all the episodes.

4. How would you describe your style?

Our style is dark, and melodic paired with heavy guitar riffs, solid bass lines, and a bit of classical operatic influences sprinkled in here and there.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We have released a 6 song, self titled EP. Our listeners can expect catchy choruses both vocally and instrumentally. Each song tells its own story. In fact, certain songs tell our character back stories. “Fall” is Paul’s song before becoming Locrian. “Rain” is Donny’s before becoming Abaddon. “The Fall of Me” is Chelsea’s before becoming Ariach. And lastly, “Parasite” tells the story of how we became possessed. Be sure to check the Music Video!

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We plan to begin writing our concept album in a few weeks. But for now we’re concentrating on a cover song that we plan to record at the end of April.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Ughhhh playing out and touring…..we have been dying to play a live show and would love to tour. The reason we cannot….we do not have a drummer! We have struggled from the beginning to find the right drummer. We didn’t want to waste time, so we hired a session drummer for the EP. We are actively searching for our 4th and final member.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Our plans are to find a drummer, play live shows, begin writing the concept album, and hopefully begin touring within the next two years.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

We are on all major streaming platforms and we have two music videos on YouTube, “Parasite” and “Fall”. (More to come) We also have a website, www.thefallofmeofficial.com as well as the standard FB, insta, and TikTok pages.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We want our music to make you feel something. Whether that be through the instrumentation, the lyrics, or the vocals. We hope to create music that is both beautiful and dark. Something that leaves the listener coming back for me.

3D rocker JIMMY O'KEEFE is always writing and having his music ready, all new content will be made available soon. He himself goes into talks about his works and what the future holds.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Jimmy O'Keefe and Friends originated as a solo project I started in college. All the recordings were done in my bedroom. I was frustrated by the fact that I couldn't find a place to practice, and that I couldn't keep a group together. It's that feeling you get when you think that I will never be recognized for the art I create, but I'm still driven to create it.  No one is there to stop you from going into your own deep end, and some beautiful things can come of that.

Flash forward 12 years. I felt that feeling again. Isolated from my band Hollywood Blanks during the pandemic, and with the time to record more DIY tracks, I revisited this solo project.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Jimmy O'Keefe and Friends was an ironic name at first because it is mainly a solo project. It's also a name that's supposed to make you think that I finally gave up on trying to come up with a name for my project (which is true). When I'm alone on stage, the friends are in the audience. The name creates fluidity. It's a name that allows this project to be open to constant change. It acknowledges the reality that, as a songwriter, there are times when you will be alone and times when you will be surrounded by friends.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

I'm based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Baltimore has a really vibrant and eclectic music scene ranging from hip-hop to electronic to folk. Regardless of the genre, the throughline always seems to be a tinge of weirdness and grittiness. Up until the Ghost Ship Warehouse Fire in Oakland, California many of Baltimore's best artists found their start at the warehouses and art spaces around the city. But even beyond that, going back in city history, Baltimore's Pennsylvania Avenue was a staple stopover for Jazz singers and Big Bands on their way to New York. People such as Billie Holiday and  Cab Calloway called Baltimore home. Finally, Baltimore has a strong connection to the classical music scene fed by the Peabody Music Conservatory. Current popular bands to check out:

Future Islands

Beach House

Dan Deacon

EZ Jackson

4. How would you describe your style?

Vocal and lyrics driven, dark, brooding bedroom folk rock that is trying to be three dimensional

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

I think the thing that strikes people first is my voice. My grandmother was a singer, and she used to tell me that I had an uncle who had this really interesting singing voice. She said it was haunting. The way she describes it, it sounds like I inherited it. My voice has an interesting range and I can do some cool things with it.

When I was in college, I released a full length called American Archetypes. It's a really strange album, but at the same time it's very familiar. The proportions of the sounds are all strange because I didn't really know what I was doing, but close friends really love that album. That sort of familiarity with a subtle warp or disproportionality is something that has stuck with my music's sound.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

100%... I just need the capital to record and release it. I have so much material to release. I'm constantly writing new music and lyrics. I have another single that should come out through The Animal Farm in the next couple of months. It's a really dark song.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Right now, I'm just focusing on reestablishing myself in the Baltimore Music Scene as a solo artist. I was in a band called Hollywood Blanks for about a decade. We toured around the East Coast here and there, but mostly played in Baltimore.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

I want to actually start having real musicians in my band again. At the same time, I also want to explore the desperation that comes out of being alone on a stage with just an acoustic guitar. I played my first show alone in over two years, and I really had to get creative about keeping the audience engaged.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

https://linktr.ee/jimmyokeefeandfriends.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

The first time people listen to my music, I think they will remember my voice - how unfamiliar yet familiar it is. I'm definitely not trying to sing like Ed Sheeran or even like Hozier (maybe a little more like Hozier). The next time they listen, I hope they pay attention to the words.

Progressive hard rockers JETTER have released not one but two albums! With them hard at work upon what is their next album with a new single due this spring time! Several members of the band discloses the matters below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Paul Alexander: We started about 5 years ago as a cover band. The drummer (Rob Christie) and I wanted to start writing originals so…we did! A couple members didn’t really like the idea of writing or even playing original music so… we continued on without them. James Anthony joined us on bass and loved the originals we were writing but definitely felt the bass lines needed more life. He was right! His bass lines were so much better! Luckily, he joined before we hit the real studio. Kristie Lee also joined as we were starting out with originals… after we fired our cover singer who got drunk so bad, he couldn’t perform on stage. Her story of joining us is a funny one! But we will save that for another time lol!

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Rob Christie: We were looking for a band name because we had a show coming up and didn’t name the band yet! A couple of the guys came up with a couple cool names. I suggested the name JETTER. By definition it means, “To Break Through” or, “That tingling feeling in your ears when you just heard something exciting.” Oh, and it was also the last name of one of our members of the band so I thought that would be cool! We voted on it and mine stuck!

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Kristie Lee: We are based in Tampa Florida USA. The music scene is very much alive in Tampa! Especially if you like death core and extreme metal. We are Progressive Hard Rock but we seem to fit in very well here. We have headlined shows where every opener was Death Metal…but the crowd still came up front got into it when we came on. You kinda worry, like…uh oh are these guys going to be into us? Then they are and we are pleasantly surprised! (James Anthony) As far as other local bands are concerned, Blood of Angels is a great band that represents the local music style.

4. How would you describe your style?

Paul Alexander: Well, as Kristie Lee said, we consider ourselves to be progressive hard rock. Maybe were right on about that…maybe not…lol. Whatever the listener thinks we are…that’s what we are hahaha.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

James Anthony: We have released two albums so far. Worth Fighting For and When All Else Fails… We usually just write whatever is coming to us at the time of writing…then the song goes through a series of changes and modulations that ends up being the final piece. I think it is fair to say that the listener can always expect us to take you on some sort of journey or direct you through a story. That is what we aim for.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Paul Alexander: Yes! We are currently working on our next album and are expecting to put out a new single this spring. Stay Tuned!

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

James Anthony: I feel like we are always out and about! We are headed to California to shoot a Music Video for Egyptian Knights in March and that kicks off a tour that starts in California, goes through Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee and the Carolinas then back to Tampa to Open for Nicko McBrain’s (drummer from Iron Maiden) side project Titanium Tart in Tampa and Orlando.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Kristie Lee: We plan to just keep writing and playing. We are planning something for Europe as soon as the end of this year. We have a lot happening!

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

James Anthony: We are available on all streaming services. You can buy our album on amazon and all our merch and music is available at www.officialJETTER.com.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Kristie Lee: Just get lost in it! It is completely open to your interpretation. Make it yours!
