Like a bear native to the Alaskan tundra, 36 Crazyfists have emerged from a four-year recording hibernation and have signed a worldwide deal with Spinefarm Records. The label welcomes the Alaska-originated band, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, to its formidable and expanding roster, which boasts the best in hard rock and heavy metal.

The new album, Time and Trauma, is due out in February 2015.

"We have found a new home at Spinefarm Records and although the label is new to us, some of the staff are old friends and we couldn't be more grateful to unleash the beast that is Time and Trauma with their help," said frontman Brock Lindow. "20 years in and it feels like Spinefarm is a killer home to hang our hats. See you all on the road in 2015!"

Spinefarm Senior Director of Marketing Tim Brennan echoed that sentiment, saying, "We are thrilled to have 36 Crazyfists be part of the growing Spinefarm family! They are a genuine band of brothers that has grinded for 20 years to create a truly committed fanbase. Time and Trauma is an incredible way to begin the next 20 years for the band.”

36 Crazyfists released their debut Bitterness the Star via Roadrunner Records in 2002. The follow up, 2004's A Snow Capped Romance, is largely considered a sleeper classic in the post-hardcore realm. The band also released several additionally beloved albums, including Rest Inside the Flames (2006) via the now-defunct DRT Entertainment, as well as The Tide and Its Takers (2008) and Collisions and Castaways through Ferret Music. Their Spinefarm debut is their first album in four years and their first since Collisions and Castaways, released in 2010.

To celebrate the new label partnership, the band has shared the new song "Also Am I," which is available as a stream. Listen to it HERE. This new song is merely a taste of what is to come.

36 Crazyfists will close out 2014 with a slew of tour dates, including a December anniversary show in their native state. Here's to 20 more years of bringing the rock.

The iTunes version of the album will also include an exclusive track titled “Rust and Bone”.

Produced by legendary multi-platinum producer Ross Robinson (At The Drive-In, Slipknot,The Cure, Sepultura, Glassjaw) SearchingFor Zero is simultaneously the most melodic, yet menacing Cancer Bats release. The record incorporates the crude hardcore punk of their 2006 debut, BirthingThe Giant and more metal leanings of 2008’s Hail Destroyer, while pushing the heavy hybrid sounds of 2010’s Mayors Bears Scraps and Bones and 2012’s darker Dead Set On Living to a new plateau.

A lyric video for a new song called "Arsenic in the Year of the Snake" can be checked out HERE.

Drummer John Boecklin and guitarist Jeff Kendrick have exited DEVILDRIVER, the California-based band fronted by COAL CHAMBER singer Dez Fafara. Dez says: "Nothing dramatic [happened], [and there were] no drag-down fights; [it was] just time to move on.

He added: "As I have said previously, DEVILDRIVER is on hiatus while I rejoin COAL CHAMBER for a new record release and tour.

"DEVILDRIVER will be back, make no mistake of that, in 2016 with a new record which we are already writing, tours around the world and the massive pits you have all gotten used to.

"All in DEVILDRIVER wish John and Jeff the best."

Said Kendrick in a statement: "I want to thank our fans all over the world for allowing me to live the dream of playing guitar in DEVILDRIVER for the last 12 years. It will be some of the fondest memories I will ever have, and it has been a tremendous honor and a pleasure to play for everyone, everywhere.

"I want to make it clear that this is my decision, and I have nothing but love for all my brothers in the band. I revere my bandmates with the utmost respect and am happy for the experiences we have all shared.

Sylvaine an aspiring artist has written and recorded for her debut album entitled "Silent Chamber, Noisy Heart". She says her music consists of ambient, wall-of-sound landscapes, with a focus on beautiful melodies, lingering guitar riffs and atmospheres, with a solid groove rooted in a more heavy style. The music and lyrics are inspired by life as a being in constant conflict with oneself, haunted by numerous emotions. Having played all of the instruments herself, as well as recording, mixing, and working with the visuals she has quite the ability of handling more than one task as it may. Thus this in fact shows through within this album, it containing that heavy essence style with rooted grooves and melodies that captures those emotions discussed. Its really an album that makes you "feel" all over, your emotions come out putting you at various stages from feeling calm, to happy, excited, sad, its like a repeating cycle that has you really listening to the music with each note played. Similar acts would be The Chameleons, Alcest, Hammock, Les Discrets, Slowdive, Lantlôs, Bathory, Cocteau Twins, and Burzum. Sylvaine's debut release is as mentioned filled with extensive amounts of emotion and feeling, allowing you the listener to embrace all it has to offer.

Discovering the Fearless Vampire Killers was a hit or miss chance while on goth industrial site VampireFreaks.com. Their site showcasing to online profiles of individuals, musicians, and artists alike, surly promotion of these types was to happen and that was how these guys came into the picture.

Soon after viewing their profile, a video of theirs with the song "Palace In Flames", was what hooked me in. Leading me to the EP release "In Grandomina... " (2010) where the song came about, with further releases to follow, including their debut album "Militia of the Lost" (2012). While they did have releases tucked under their belts, with a following under foot, appearing across Europe and the United States came with ease.

Leading on to them working upon the follow-up sophomore release "Unbreakable Hearts" (2014). This time they took hold of producer and friend William Francis of Aiden or William Control, whose helped an array of acts through the years, doing so for these guys was no problem whatsoever, that in fact causing this release to capture a more matured essence and ability from the music within.
Such tracks like "Neon In The Dancehalls", "Maeby", "Exploding Heart Disorder", and  "Brave the Night", all portray that same unique style that these guys have contained all these years, except it's more enhanced in sound, it's depth makes the instrumentals bounce upon one another, while the vocal tactics play tricks upon each other, sounding intense yet easy going, really expressing the pieces to their fullest content.

This latest addition to the catalog of the Fearless Vampire Killers is truly the "Unbreakable Hearts" that is these musicians, an act to continue to grow with the music that they have created, for many years to follow them.

First Class Trash's debut EP "Party Through Apocalypse" was a solid effort to say the least. Now that some time has passed so has the band timing for writing and recording for what would be their debut full-length album "Cutthroat Cocktail". Already teasing with a few tracks like "From The Ashes",  "Lost Angels", and "Hollywood", these tracks alone set up what this album delivers. An expressive yet digital rock n' roll based album bringing out similar styling's to that of Dope meets Davey Suicide. The instrumentals are played out with a beat that keeps up with the vocals having their own screaming attics and clean portions that makes it all full circle. As such, it comes full circle because it's a cycle that keeps the music generating and moving along, while it sounds edgy and digitalized it allows it to build upon each song portrayed. It's an album that shows growth for the band as a whole focus, allowing this release to be an effort to hit the solid boundaries with no problem.

No matter how many genres there are within the music industry there will always be a good chunk and a bad chunk of acts, for the alternative/pop punk genres both being different, lots of bands get split up into more than one genre, this would be the case for an act called Daylight. They've released a few albums and an EP then took a year of silence, coming back with another album called "One More Fight", the title obvious enough. These guys declaring they have returned and have that one more fight in them and it shows on this release. Chalk full of 10-tracks including their hit single and video for "Consequences", a very upbeat and catchy tune that has a never ending sense to it. While other noted songs like opener "Anthem Of The Broken", maintains that same upbeat catchy tone giving it a run for it's money. While other songs "Best Days Of Our Lives", and "Another Day" take another approach, "Another Day" has a more laid back vibe while "Best Days Of Our Lives" delivers a pop hip hop style then picks up the pop punk vibe yet again like it never left. So "One More Fight" delivers as said that alternative/pop punk feel with some added bonuses placed here and there making Daylight, an act to follow up on, every now and again.

Black Veil Brides you either love them or you hate them in any case they have since grown a following that's truly unstoppable. Now that years have passed by the band has gone on to release what would be their fourth full-length release turning out to be a "Self-Titled" effort. How does it compare to the previous counter partner that was a concept blown apart in more ways than one?

Well releasing such singles as "Faithless", "Heart of Fire", and "Walk Away", express the musical direction taken hold here, is it different, is it the same? Simply put it's neither it's simply the Black Veil Brides sound no matter the release they deliver it's unique to their style choices and they have built a style that everyone knows them by just like any other band in existence. This album has its ups and downs with this song selection have the hype tracks like the one's released with other downer songs like "Goodbye Agony", turns to be a ballad style song sounding expressive meets emotion really capturing your feelings.

The remainder of the album pretty much becomes the up portion having the songs become steady and heavy focused allowing certain screams to peak in, recapturing that essence from previous releases except not as much is offered here scream-wise but the ones that are do  get it addressed. All in all this fourth release from the Black Veil Brides is an eye and ear catcher, having it become another release that stays unique yet true to the style that Black Veil Brides has created.

As, Ashestoangels puts it they're not just a band they're a family. In 2012 and 2013 their family from all over the world took part in helping these guys get their latest album "Horror Cult" off the ground via crown funding, reaching their goal to boot might add. They went on to write and record for the album having worked alongside Will Francis best known as Aiden's frontmwn and his solo act William Control - who took part in doing his duties as the band brought this album to the table in full swing. The album of course delivered quite a few singles and videos for those which included "Run", "Still Dead", and "Six Six Six", all of which are indeed very catchy and unique but what style are these guys exactly? Well they're a cross between synth/goth/punk or in short an act similiar to that of Aiden meets Fearless Vampire Killers crossed with Ugly Love. A lot of which are European based, makes sense, because they have similar style strcuture, except Ashestoangels style is more built upon, unique, and energentic. Their instrumentals and vocal tactics are put in full effect, taking the music at bay, pushing it at you, having it go every which way it can, making it be fun and exciting and catchy all at once. While the single releases do display this the rest of the album does so too, creating an album that was done in a well crafted manner, to be listenable again and again.

Fresh off their main stage appearance at this weekend's KNOTFEST in Southern California, which was preceded by an equally anticipated appearance at Aftershock and an off-the-hook warm-up show at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim in their native Orange County, which sold out in under 30 minutes, Atreyu will play a headlining hometown show at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California. The show will take place on December 20.

Tickets for this can't-be-missed, all-ages show will go on sale on Friday, October 31 at 10AM PT.

"It has been far too long since we did a proper, full-scale headlining show at home," said singer Alex Varkatzas. "We are rehearsing and pumped up to play this legendary OC venue that we have all attended so many shows at over the years."

"Chain Reaction was the appetizer," echoed drummer Brandon Saller. "This is the main course. The Observatory is, bar none, the best venue in Orange County. We're exited to rip the roof off of it."

The band is writing and demo'ing its forthcoming album, the first since 2009's Congregation of the Damned.

Atreyu entered a period of hibernation and dormancy in 2011, after establishing itself as one of the key band of the American metal revival that dominated the '00s. The band was recently spotlighted in VH1's Everything You Need to Know About Metalcore list, highlighting Atreyu's status as one of the architects of that scene and sound.

The band is equally excited about the hometown holiday show and about plans for 2015. Stay tuned for further Atreyu updates.
