Chiodos singer Craig Owens will be appearing live, on-line via the Stage It platform on Tuesday, January 14 at 8:00 P.M. Eastern / 5:00 P.M. Pacific.  Virtual tickets are priced at $5.00, and can be purchased here: http://www.stageit.com/craig_owens/craig_owens_live_online/32645.

Owens has come up with an interesting incentive for "tippers," offering a “With Love” CD, Wristband, and an mp3 of “Rebel Girl” for the Top 100; a “With Love” CD, Wristband, and a free download of “Rebel Girl,” plus a handwritten lyric sheet for a song of their choice from his catalogue for the Top 25; and the top tipper will receive all of the above plus the shirt off his back.

Owens shares, "In anticipation of the upcoming Chiodos record, I've been spending a lot of time at home gearing up, playing my guitar, and getting my voice ready for the chaos that's about to begin. I love playing acoustic songs for fans, and I am a big fan of Stage It. I like what it represents, and does for both the artists and the fans in enabling this direct contact in an intimate show setting without having to leave your home. So, I thought that for the first few months of 2014, I would do a Stage It show once a month for fans, and for myself. I'm really excited to play some different versions of original songs, and pull out some covers I work on in my private time."

Michigan-based post-hardcore outfit Chiodos, featuring a recently reunited lineup of Craig Owens (vocals), Bradley Bell (keyboards), Jason Hale (guitar), Pat McManaman (guitar), Matt Goddard (bass) and Derrick Frost (drums), has announced a multitude of summer and fall tour dates and festival performances.
The upcoming shows will be Chiodos' first time performing with this lineup since 2009.

"Everyone seems really excited to be doing this again, which was something I honestly didn't think I would ever say at one point," explains Bell, one of the band's founding members. "Now it just feels right and we're looking forward to playing shows and making more music together.”

Owens agrees, adding, "It's crazy to think that it's been almost three years...and that in less than one month, we'll all be on the same stage together again. Until then, we are all just preparing for whatever may happen next with an optimistic view on it all; Thankful to be playing music we love, with people we respect."
A new teaser video featuring behind-the-scenes footage of their recent rehearsals has also been released today and can be found on youtube.com/chiodos.

Chiodos originally formed in 2001 and went on to later release two full-length records together with this lineup. Their first full-length album, All's Well That End's Well, was released on July 26, 2005, debuting at #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and #164 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. Bone Palace Ballet, the band's follow-up full-length, was released on September 4, 2007 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Independent, Alternative, Rock and Hard Rock Charts and #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. To date, the two albums combined have sold over 500k units worldwide. The band will be performing songs from both All's Well That End's Well and Bone Palace Ballet at the upcoming shows.

Tickets for the Chiodos' headlining show in Cleveland and for all festival dates, and pre-sale tickets for the remaining headline shows, are on sale now.

VIP packages, which include a ticket, two song acoustic set at soundcheck, meet and greet with the entire band, commemorative laminate and a poster, are available for all headlining shows. Whether you love him or hate him there is no telling as to where you will find him. Craig Owens has been making quite the buzz for himself since the cut from Chiodos and now focusing on his brand new project he always involved in some various project to pass his time. So now this new direction is the most reasonable one.

When it comes to Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Owens really sets his mind on this outlet and it alone, his band's debut release "D.R.U.G.S." really takes control possessing a creative edge that slaps you right in the face. After recruiting his friends (Matt Good, Aaron Stern, Nick Martin, and Adam Russell) to round off band and enlisting John Feldmann to run the boards. This album is filled with top notch aggression, opener “If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is”, is chorus protected with such rapid energy the guitar motive used is just flawless energy whilst Owens' dynamic screams never seems to quit.

"Graveyard Dancing", portrays a darker stance blending the era of Tim Burton meets pop/rock aggression really makes you think twice after listening to it. Whereas "Mr. Own Ate My Metal Worm", features a bridge like no tomorrow while 'I'm Here To Take The Sky", recaptures one of Owens' other projects Cinematic Sunrise. But that possessive edge presented beforehand is still present on “The Only Thing You Talk About” (once known as Thermacare) this tune has guitar riffs that constantly shred continuing right into its notorious breakdowns that fade to rest.

When it's all said and done Owens' lyrical context is clearly written out featuring efforts he's showcased before and will continue to express.
