Kylira was formed as a solo project of Canadian Symphonic Metal vocalist Kyle Logue. The idea behind the project was to create an archetype that leads listeners to a new journey through each song. Combining her love of mystery and monsters, each song has corresponding case files and  each music video is a conclusion to the story. With awe-inspiring vocals, unique harmonies, sweeping arrangements and epic guitars, Kylira takes the listener away to another world.

Russell James’ path to the release of "Ghosts" was one of absolute grit and willpower. For the better part of 2017, James, who lives his life with an audio integration disorder called hyperacusis, complicated by parallels to the autism spectrum, a personal battle with PTSD and anxiety, felt as though he was standing in the shadows if his depression. From the darkness, James found glimmers of hope breaking through during the process of recording his upcoming new album titled "Wave/Water", which he will self-release on April 20, 2018.

The album concentrations profoundly on hope and the impressions and imprints it can have on a person’s life. Throughout "Wave/Water", James insistently underlines the notion that no one is alone in fighting battles in life…that every person is weathering the pressures of something every day. Because of that connection, James figures in some ways we’re all in this together and hopes eventually that we can all lean on each other for support.

"Depression is always with me...there’s always an undercurrent of depression that will poke its head up once every two days even when I’m feeling good," he told Substream Magazine, who premiered "Ghosts," the first track from "Wave/Water" – PRESS HERE to listen. "I want people to know that because you can be in the darkest period, that doesn’t mean you can’t do anything about it."

"My mental health puts a lot of occupational limits on me but songwriting remains unaffected," he adds. "I get a sense of coping and healing from the creative practice as well as the sense that I still have something to give and we all need something that helps us push back what haunts us."

Though everyone was well aware of their existence to begin with, Abbey Bominble and Spectra Vondergeist were revealed long before Monster High's Facebook page even got started discussing them. Now that today is Friday the 13th the Monster High's Facebook page decided to reveal the new ghouls in school.

In all of her spooktacular glory, Spectra Vondergeist, Daughter of the Ghosts, will be available in stores this June. Spectra Vondergeist's Bio: Seen Spectra floating through any walls lately? Keep your eye on this ghoul because she’s always appearing out of thin air! Spectra is the wicked cool 16-year-old daughter of The Ghosts who always has her see-through finger on the pulse of Monster High. She’ll deny it, but she’s been known to fill in the gaps of missing information with her own ghostly imaginings! Some student bodies even think she’s the ghoul behind the anonymous MH advice column “Oh My Oracle,” but that rumor is still unconfirmed. If you run across a sneaky little ghost ferret, don’t fret! It’s just Rhuen, Spectra’s scary-cute mischievous pet.

Whilst Abbey Bominable the daughter of the Yeti will become avaialble in August. Abbey Bominable's Bio: Abbey may look a little chilly on the outside, but on the inside, she’s all heart. She’s the 16-year-old daughter of the Yeti and is an exchange student from up north – so you know she’s got mad moves when she hits the snow on her board. Have you caught a glimpse of that ice around her neck? She rocks that crystal to keep all of her surroundings at the perfect temperature…ice cold. Her straightforward style can be a little intimidating, especially for the guys, and though rumor has it that a lot of guys want to ask her out; most are afraid she’ll tell them specifically why she’s saying “No.” Abbey is also very strong, a fact that a certain bully recently found out. Oh, and watch out for her pet wooly mammoth, Shiver. She has a big personality and is just as strong willed as Abbey.

Derek the Ghost communicates through first time ghost whisperer Derek Taylor Kent, a writer and performer to the Los Angeles, California area.
