The Two Takes Two to Create and Love Music

The Two are up-and-comers who want to push what they can do to the very end of the world. Since the release of their debut full-length a the start of this New Year the band has been hard at work touring along with writing all new material for the follow-up due sometime soon. Find out what types of songs they like to write about with what influences them on the way to the top.

1. What type of music does The Two create?

TT:  We create a personal mix of mutation rock coming from David and trip hop more related to Ara.

2. How did you sell your CDs/Audio Files?

TT: Our album is sold in American through the iTunes store.

3. What type of recording process did you use? Who produced your recording?

TT: We played, recorded, then arranged and mixed our first album.

4. Have you recorded any previous CDs or posted any audio files on the Internet?

TT: Nope this is our first release.

5. When it comes to performing how would you rate your live ability?

TT: We started this project years ago so every concert is an all new experiment for us to explore and create.

6. How do you describe your music to people?

TT: We don’t but if we have to we would say that “It’s a combination of our two own personalities”.personalities”.

7. Who are your musical influences and how much have they inspired you to do what you do?

TT: It’s always tricky to talk about our influences because most of the time it doesn’t even show within our music. The influence for us is what helped us at one point in our lives and that’s what keeps us going.
David comes from a more grunge genre background Pearl, Guns N’ Roses and Pink Floyd are the ones our guitarist looks upon. Ara comes from a more underground rock genre like Lou Reed and Marianne Faithful.

8. Can you tell me about your song writing and what your songs are about?

TT: The song writing process is very organic for us because it’s like a dialogue even if Ara is more into the lyrical side and David is with music we use those at an advantage to do what we do. Like how the songs on our first album, those are mainly about the idea of absence and how absence creates a concrete and abstract type of thing.

9. What else can we expect to see from you guys this year?

TT: We are working in New York at the moment for our follow-up release and are touring right now as well across America. Our first album was released at the start of this New Year so go pick up a copy.

10. Is there anything else you'd like to say?

TT: We want to be with you again! Hahahaha!
