Vivienne Cure Talks of Summer Time and Music!

Doom metal and alterative goth act VIVIENNE CURE has been doing various projects for sometime, having some current works come forth in the form of comics, movies, sound scaping and art directing. Some festivals are set for the summer, with her music just wanting to be heard and left at an interpretation of what they hear.

1. How would you describe your style?

The music bleeds together the elements of experimental soundscape doom metal and alternative gothic.

2. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

My previous projects have being featured with Kerrang, NME, Clash, and this is an extension of those,  I aim to deliver tasteful, dark aesthetics with an eccentric horror appeal. The video to my track paranoia was inspired by the German horror Nosferatu it embodies the theme of the very human and egoic tendency to identify one's self with perpetual negative thoughts which spiral into insanity.

3. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes I am writing at the moment tracks for some comic book movies , soundscaping and art directing I’m really enjoying it.

4. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

I will be playing at festivals in Germany and the Netherlands this summer.

5. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

6. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

I think music very subjective so I will leave that to their interpretation of what they remember  but ….. I just want like people to feel a strong emotion bad or good ….. just not indifference,  its  my worst nightmare.
