The Funeral Portrait Release Music Video For New Song, “The Crash”

The Funeral Portrait have had a busy year and look to be ending it with a bang. The band, which consists of vocalist Lee Jennings, guitarist Mikey J, bassist Robert Weston, and drummer Homer, is hot off a tour supporting Social Repose on The Empress Tour and are about to hit the road again in support of Emery this coming Monday, November 13th. Today, they are excited to debut a brand new track, titled “The Crash,” a personal, hard-hitting song about going through change and turmoil only to come out stronger in the end.

This is The Funeral Portrait’s first new music since the release of their debut full-length album, A Moment of Silence, last December. After much change in the dynamics of the band and the slight deviation from the “theatre rock” sound they’ve become known for, The Funeral Portrait are prepared to begin this next chapter of their music careers. Vocalist, Lee Jennings, had this to say about the single:

“The Crash is our triumphant song. The song to show everyone that with the member change we will never surrender and just keep pressing on. I’m excited to show everyone what the future holds for The Funeral Portrait as this is a perfect example of what’s to come in 2018!”
