Who would have thought that emo hardcore band From First To Last would get signed yet again but to another label this time Fearless Records. With that they would release an all-new single called "Your Name In Red Ink", and to celebrate they would play to a packed house in Los Angeles, California! At the warehouse venue 1720 fans would crowd in, and when 9:45PM hit that's when everybody went off!
But let's rewind a bit, this special one-off show, would not only celebrate the release of all new music from this band, but welcome yet another vocalist to the rotation, this band featuring quite a bit of vocalists over time. Being best known for Sonny Moore, who has since moved on to other endeavors. This time they would feature emo alternative rocker Lil Lotus, his solo works and being a record producer showing his works, but how would he manage the emo spotlight of such a known act after all these years of the band's mishaps.
His vocal works on the new single are quite good, whereas his live performance being seen via Vans Warped Tour's live stream, as well as the band performing this special one-off show here in Los Angeles, he is talented and does have the momentum and rawness that makes From First To Last who they have become thus far along.

Having caught the band for the first time ever way back in 2006 as a part of the headlining run done by Fall Out Boy, titled The Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour" with openers From First To Last, that is when Sonny Moore fronted the band and seeing them then was flawless. Now twenty years later, with numerous vocalists, album releases, and now it's come down to this night.
Well, it was shall we say well worth the long wait! Lil Lotus did a splendid job. His vocal tactics made the old material off the debut album and newest single sound really well played from the band and himself as vocalist. The crowd was quite pleased, having everyone run forward once the lights deemed, and that's when everybody went nuts! So many crowd surfers, stage divers, mosh pits opening in front of the stage, to the middle and back spaces, it was a complete chaotic meltdown!
In short, From First To Last, made this evening quite special, and so much fun, it was a night to always remember and never forget.
