Punk hardcore band DEBUNK has been around for sometime, releasing content over time, including a most recent release, with another planned for the next year. Some shows and a tour is also expected soon enough with so much else in the future as well. See what is up next from the talk below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Originally the band formed in 2011 in the north of Italy. Formed with members of Raw Power and Los Fastidios (two Italian legendary band) After some shows the band signed with the label “Sorry Mom!) for the first LP “Doped Life” in 2019. During the quarantine in 2020 Debunk wrote and recorded the second full length album called “Depression, disorder & paranoia, released on April 2022 by the same label.
In these years the band shared the stage with The Casualties, Lagwagon, Gbh, Ratos de Porao, Nuclear Assault, Lion’s Law and Nabat.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
The name was chosen a night at the pub after some practice and many beers.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
The band is based on the north of Italy between Parma and Reggio Emilia in a place called “Food Valley”. There are many legendary bands in our area like Raw Power and FFD.
4. How would you describe your style?
Well, it’s a punk hardcore music, inspired by bands like Good Riddance, Nofx, the Exploited but with our HC style.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
Our release:

2022 “Depression, disorder & paranoia”
You could expect fast and energic music with big chorus against any discrimination
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
We just released the new record but we’re sure to make a new one next year.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We are looking for European tour or some shows across Europe but as you know with the pandemic situation
Its hard to fix for the near future. We’re gonna play at the end of July in a big festival in Italy with Youth of today and many famous bands.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We wanna make music till the end of our days. First of all we are friends, brothers and still continues to share our stuff with the people.

We would like that listeners remember energy and passion how we make the music and stand again any form of discrimination.
