Dain Griffin Says Much About His Dead Flowers and More!

Emo up and comer DAIN GRIFFIN has his 90's/00's style kept in check, with the release of his upcoming debut album "Dead Flowers", with much else in the works as well! See what else he had to say about his music, himself, and more music coming forth soon enough.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

My name is Dain and I used to play in a 90’s style emo band called Merit.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

My mom saw the name Dain in a baby book and liked the way it was spelled. I didn’t really have a say in the matter but I’ve grown to like it.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

I am based in Las Vegas. I haven’t been here long enough to know much about the music scene but I have played with some cool bands like No Red Alice, Rayner and Mercy Music.

4. How would you describe your style?

90’s/00’s style emo music mixed with singer song writer.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

Dead Flowers is my debut album.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Dead Flowers is due out 2/3/23!

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

I will be playing some release shows in Phoenix, LA and Vegas in the next few months.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Probably release some more music.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can stream the music under the name Dain Griffin on your preferred streaming app. You can preorder Dead Flowers on vinyl at www.HiddenHomerécords.com.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

I try not to take myself so seriously but write about my life experience and I hope it resonates with the listener.
