Hard rock n' rollers WHALEDOG have two single's out currently, with another single and album expected sometime this year. The band will also be planning out an array of shows and touring come this next year as well. Find out what else the band had to express about from the everything said below.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Whale Dog is a Swedish Rock band from Stockholm. The band was formed in September 2020 after the split up of the band “Black Paisley”. Three of the members (Ulf, Robert & Mikael) were former Black Paisley members. All five members has a long history in the Swedish music scene as musicians and producers all since the 80´s. You may call them veterans! In September 2020 Ole Breimo and Samuel Laxberg joined the band.
The music of Whaledog is a product of all five members Love for Classical Hard Rock. Mostly the 70´s Rock like Led Zeppelin amongst others bands. Most of the material is written by Lead singer Ole Breimo and the band arrange and produce all the music in their own studios.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
The band name “Whaledog” is taken from the Norwegian whale dogs in the 19th century that accompanied the Whale hunting expeditions. These dogs stood in the front of the ships and sniffed for whales. The Band Whaledog is not in any way supporters of Whale hunt.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

The music of Whaledog is a product of all five members Love for Classical Hard Rock. Mostly the 70´s Rock like Led Zeppelin amongst others bands but with a modern and heavy touch
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
On the 5th of Nov. 2021 Whaledog released their debut single “No Go Zone”.
The Follow up single “Leave Me Alone” was released the 29th of Dec. 2021.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Now the band releases their third single “In Time” which will be the last single before the album is release in 2022.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
The band is planning to start touring and playing in 2023 after the debut album.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
The band will start the work of the second album in the fall of 2022. To be released in 2023. The band have a lot of material since Ole Breimo writes new songs all the time.

All music is distributed to all mayor music streaming platform’s including Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Apple music and YouTube etc.
10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
The music of this band attracts lovers of 70´s as well as modern Rock fans. The high energy of the band combined with the personal voice of lead singer Ole Breimo as well as the good songs and productions is what people seem to like so far.
