Airbourne Brings Rock Back to Los Angeles And Rolls with It!

Having seen hard rock band Airbourne twice within the same year at the time, way back when in 2010! This was when they opened for Bullet for my Valentine in the spring and went on to do the summer time Uproar Festival that same year. It wouldn't be until 12 years later that Airbourne and I would cross paths yet again. Come 2022 and 8 years since they were last in Los Angeles back in 2014, the band would return once again to Los Angeles, California. As a part of their summer and fall tour they came back as a part of a World Tour cycle, landing as the last stop of this run of the tour to be precise. Ending things off at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, a venue with a capacity of just 500, with this show not being a sell out performance but the crowd was still quite the size nonetheless. Hitting the stage a little after 9PM down under Australians Airbourne would rock the stage for the next hour!

Kicking things off would be such tracks such as "Ready to Rock", "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast", "Girls in Black", "Back in the Game", "Breakin Outta Hell" "Stand Up for Rock N' Roll" and "Runnin' Wild" to name off a few of their top crowd-pleaser. The crowd was in fact very ecstatic about the band's performance, jumping, clapping, and singing right along to these tunes and the rest of their steady setlist. In fact, the singer himself known for hurting himself with a beer can during performances, did just this, hoping on top of someone upon their shoulders, hitting himself then spraying the contents upon the crowd of on-lookers.

It was truly all in good fun and a really good time to say the least. The rest of the band's performance brought more roars of approval, pure energy, and even the mosh pit, pushing and shoving one another during certain points in the set. Wrapping it all up would be the band asking the crowd to get on the ground, sitting on the floor, as they discussed about sex, drugs, and rock n' roll likely occurring on said spot. Once the music kicked up so did everyone on that floor right into the air and in the mosh pit too!

Breathing in all of that atmosphere and experience of pure rock n' roll energy and momentum is what Airbourne brought this night. They were fun, entertaining, and one act that may have taken some time to come back to the U.S. of A, but they brought back the rock that will never die!
