Achrome Talks of New Music, Videos, Shows, Every Chance Possible!

Metalcore band ACHROME built on not just metalcore but pop, rap, and djent influences as well, have been born out of Rome way back in 2018! Since, they have new music in the works, videos, shows set along with much more. The band talked about it all below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Hi there. We are Achrome. We are a metalcore band with pop, rap, and djent influences, born in Rome in 2018. We changed styles and members through the years, but the original band was formed by Jacopo Antonelli (vocals) and Davide De Bernardo (guitars). Now the lineup includes Gianluca Lancianese (Bass) and Lorenzo Remigi (drums).

We are a bunch of fools, but we love music. Our goal is to create emotions in our listeners, and most of our song's lyrics are about everyday feelings, and episodes of real life. We want people to remember our melodies melted with the rhythmic violence of our riffs.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Achrome comes from Achromatic, 'cause as members of the metal community, the only admitted color when playing live was black :D Now We'd say it's an oxymoron; our live performance is quite colored.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are based in Rome. And there are many local bands that can kick assess like nothing. Unfortunately, as some bigger bands say, Rome is inconvenient to reach if you are from the other big European cities. So, we hope to play soon in northern Italy or somewhere in Europe. Obviously, USA it's our biggest dream.

4. How would you describe your style?

Well, this is metalcore. But we think the singularity of our style lies in the presence of melodies in vocals and riffs. You can remember our guitar riffs cause you can sing them. Vocals and synths are really melodic too. Our influences come from hip hop, modern metalcore, heavy metal but also djent, rap and definitely pop music. We love pop music.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

CEO is the perfect example of a guitar riff you can sing. That's probably the main reason why it’s our most successful song so far. Then you have a chorus that screams "help me" in every word is sang. However, we have many songs on our digital catalogues, that everyone can check out anytime.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes, in the last year we wrote some new songs we are really excited about. We’ll release them in the next months. We are actually waiting to record some music videos and we'll be out as soon as possible, hoping people would love these tracks as much as we do.

7. As far as shows and touring, what is on the agenda?

Recording music and videos, programming the sponsorships, working on live sessions takes a lot of time. So, we're going to play just one show this summer which is a pretty cool event for the underground Italian Scene, a Festival called Castelli Core Pool Party. It is basically a pool party with many bands of the Italian Core scene that play on a stage near the pool; pretty sick, isn’t it?

8. What else do you have planned for the rest of this year?

Just total focus on what will be out soon. We're thinking about it day and night, trying to make every song, every video, every choice at our best.

9. Where can we find you online, listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Anywhere: Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, Amazon Music and many others. If you wanna buy our merch you can contacts us by Email or Instagram DM's. Any kind of message will be appreciated; we love our fans out there!

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

Our goal is to send you shivers with our choruses, let the listeners dive into them and identify in the lyrics, as we talk about something everyone could have felt in their lives. But to be honest, we always hope the songs work as bangers cause come on, always good to see a good mosh when you're playing live!
