Winx Club's "The Secret Of the Lost" is coming to DVD August 7th and now the features on this 2 disc edition have been revealed. Feel the magic as the fairies of Alfea College bring their adventures to DVD for the first time with Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom Movie!  Bloom and her best friends Stella, Flora, Tecna, Musa and Aisha make up the Winx Club. Join them as they star in their first CGI full-length movie “The Secret of the Lost Kingdom” and seven bonus episodes from the Winx Club TV series.  Powerful magic and strong friendships bring these six fashion-forward fairies together as all sorts of villains try to defeat them and the world.  Created by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment, and distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution, Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom Movie comes out on DVD on August 7, 2012, for the suggested retail price of $19.99.

Disc 1:
The Secret of the Lost Kingdom Movie
It’s graduation day at Alfea, but Bloom has something else on her mind. She’s determined to find her birth parents! Now, on a fantastical journey that takes her and the Winx Club to a strange planet with evil lurking around every corner, Bloom will learn to trust her true friends and herself.

Disc 2 (Bonus Episodes):
The Wizards of the Black Circle
Wizards of the Black Circle try to abduct Bloom. The Wizards find out Bloom is not who they are looking for, and they leave Alfea with a threatening determination.

Fear in Pixie Village
When the Winx learn about the dangers of the Wizards of the Black Circle, they set out to protect the last fairy on Earth. To find out where the fairy is, they go to Pixie Village. There, they help the Pixies rid Piff of a haunting nightmare monster.

Winx on Earth
The Winx move to Gardenia to find the last fairy on Earth. In order to earn money, the Winx open Love and Pet, a magic pet shop. Their new furry friends help plant the seed of believing in magic on Gardenia.

Magic Pets
Business at Love and Pet picks up, but there’s trouble with the Specialists when they learn the Winx have made some new, handsome friends.  The fairies have other matters on their mind, though, as they race to find the last fairy on earth.

Orgon’s Spell
Chaos ensues at Love and Pet when the Wizards of the Black Circle turn the pets into monsters. With the Specialists by their side, the Winx try to turn the pets back to normal without wreaking havoc on Gardenia.

A Fairy Found
The Winx discover the last fairy on earth, a young girl named Roxy. They face off against the Wizards of the Black Circle to protect Roxy, but they quickly learn that their Enchantix powers are not strong enough to win.

I Believe in You
When people on Earth start believing in magic, the Winx obtain Believix, a power that will help them defeat the Wizards of the Black Circle. When the Wizards put Roxy in the Black Portal, it’s up to the Winx to stop them.

Spawned from Vancouver’s underground back in 2008, Lovecraftian death metal trio Auroch whom are currently on their 'Canadian Abomination Tour' are on a mission to give Canadian extreme metal traditions the respect they deserve, bringing them to the countless maniacs always anticipating the next epic death metal assault.

Following a number of smaller releases, Auroch will finally be unleashing its first full-length album 'From Forgotten Worlds' on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 and is available for pre-order on the bands bandcamp HERE.

San Diego, Californian's who will be taking part in this year's Scream It Like You Mean It Tour have just posted a message on their Facebook page informing everyone that bassist Marc has decided to leave the group.

"It sucks to post this but to inform everyone, our brother and bassist Marc has decided that life on the road isnt for him and is going to heading back to college. His last show with the band will be on Friday in San Diego so we need our hometown out there sending him off in style! Were obviously bummed but we know he made the best decision possible for him. Our good friends Matt Scarpelli and Michael Owens will be filling in on bass duties for the rest of the shows on Scream It Like You Mean it and we're stoked to have them out with us! Its definitely sad seeing him, we'll miss him a lot!"

Thrash metallers from Las Vegas just posted about having a comeback show happening this fall. Drummer Shannon Frye says;


"We are finally able to announce our come back show!! Taking place at The Cheyenne Saloon on September 15th!! This will be Avenger of Blood's 1st time on stage with the new line-up and also a return after 3 and a half years of being away! Joining Avenger of Blood on this special event will be Las Vegas' old school death metal godz Spun In Darkness, Predatorial, and one of Vegas' newest metal bands Mynas! More details will be available soon!"

The band has also been hard at work since returning to the thrash metal scene after their hiatus broke out in 2009. Recently entering the studio to write and record some brand new songs to be featured on the upcoming all new EP "Spawn Of Evil" due out soon.

At this year's San Diego Comic Con Mattel's Monster High showcased a wide variety of new items coming in next year. One of these products was from a line known as "Scaris City Of Fright".

This set consist of 9 different characters; Frankie, Clawdeen, Draculaura, Rochelle, Deuce, Ghoulia, and 2 all new ghouls Skelita Calaveras  and Jinafire Long. Word has it that another new ghoul Catrine DeMew may also be brought into this line and this whole set may be turned into a new CGI special as other previous Monster High specials.

All in all this new line will bring the new characters and old one's with new outfits, accessories, and much more goodies just who knows what more will be brought forth.

Hardcore metallers Denouncer have got their album "Separation" out and about for all those to hear and frontman Andy Lewis spoke to me about his band's release, writing style, musical inspiration, and so much more!


1. Denouncer is what you wanted to name the band why? What does this name symbolize for the band?

Andy: When I started Denouncer I knew it would be my own way of lashing out against the world and openly expressing everything that I found fucked up with it.  The name Denouncer just seemed to tie all of those feelings together.

2. What type of band are you to me you sound like a hardcore act is that the genre you were aiming towards or am I off course.

Andy: That’s a difficult question to answer. We associate ourselves with the hardcore scene but try not limit our sound to just that. We all come from different backgrounds and I think you can hear that in our music.



3. Tell me about "Separation" it's your debut EP that you released on July 4th why did you pick this day and did you celebrate its release?

Andy: Separation is an album filled with a lot of depression and anger to say the least. Our label We Are Triumphant actually chose to do the release on July 4th.  We celebrated by drinking and eating burgers like the majority of the country.

4. Your signed with We Are Triumphant Records who got in contact with who when it came to getting signed and what was running through your mind when you got signed?

Andy: We actually recorded Separation ourselves with the help of a good friend named Javan Irving. After we finished the album we sent it off to numerous labels and got some responses but felt that We Are Triumphant was the one to go with. Our friends Forefathers and Ancients were already signed to the label and had nothing but good things to say about Greg and the rest of the WAT team.

5. What's your outlook on the record industry today?

Andy: I personally think that the majority of the record industry is harmful in more ways than it is helpful. The number of shady record labels greatly outnumbers the helpful/hardworking ones.  But there are some great labels doing good stuff for bands such as We Are Triumphant, Life To Live, Bullet Tooth, Frequency Deleted, Closed Casket Activities, Deathwish and more. There is still hope, bands just need to be careful and choose the right one.

6. Your band is from Florida what is the music scene like there any band recommendations?

Andy: Florida’s music scene is awesome. I would defiantly say it is a lot stronger than others in the country. A few local talents from North Florida to check out would be Own Up, Truth Inside, Cold Hearted, Weak End, Carousel, Ghost Legs, Carmen Winstead, and Limits. All these bands bust their ass and deserve recognition.

7. Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

Andy: I wouldn’t say we really have any non-musical influences and there are way to many bands that I could list, but it goes from everything from hardcore to bluegrass. There’s something appreciate in just about any genre of music.

8. What are your dreams and goals?

Andy: I would say our dreams would be to tour with some of our favorite bands and to come out of this not completely in debt.

9. Who writes the songs, what are they about?

Andy: I write the majority of the lyrics but of course have help and input from the rest of the band. Most of Denouncer’s lyrics are really miserable and bitter. Like I stated earlier, this band is a way for us to express everything that we find wrong with the world. Religion, politics, & life in general are just a few topics.


10. How do you promote your band and shows?

Andy: We promote a lot on the Internet but more so at shows and on the street. While on tour we give demo’s away and attempt to strike up conversation with everyone we come in contact with.

11. Describe your show, visual and musically.

Andy: I would have to say loud, aggressive, and emotional. We put everything we have into every set, no matter if it’s for 200 people or 5 people.

12. What inspires you to do what you do?

Andy: The fact that this is all any of us have wanted to do since we were kids and we are too stubborn to give up on it.

13. What advice would you give to fellow bands?

Andy: Don’t give in. Lady music is a bitch and will try to tear you apart but just stick in there and sooner or later things will turn out for the best.

14. How much more can we expect to see from you guys for this year?

Andy: We are already working on writing a full-length record and are attempting to tour as much as possible. The best way to stay up to date with what is going on is through our Facebook.

15. Anything else you'd like to say or add?

Andy: You asked all the right questions, thank you for the opportunity to do this interview.

Having spent the last couple years on the independent grind, Phoenix-based rock group EYES SET TO KILL has decided to return to the indie label fold and have inked a deal with Century Media Records. Frontwoman Alexia Rodriguez explains, "For the past two years, we have been touring around the world and evolving into the band we are today without the support of a label. We are finally happy to announce that we've found a home and family at Century Media and can't wait for what is to come."

"Century Media has been a fan of EYES SET TO KILL for years," states North America label president Don Robertson, "so we're honored that when the band finally decided to return to the label system that they chose to work with us."
